All 3 plants showing slight stress which I believe is from the strong 600w HPS light. Nothing of concern, however not a lot I can do as light is already as full height, hiwever Will Increase air flow more upward.

Welcome to week 7 of my first Grow diary. Unfortunately it has rained a lot this week, but the temperatures have risen again. On Sunday we had perfect weather, which I would like to have all the time. The plant is growing bushier from day to day, which has made LST a little more difficult for me. Apart from a bit of aphid infestation, which I fought with neem oil, everything is going well. This week I fertilised with nettle manure again. I completely forgot to give you an update on the cuttings. A week after I cut them I unfortunately discovered mould and had to dispose of them. I really like the weather forecast for next week. Last of the 5 Papaya Cookies still going strong.Ive given her just plain water when the pot is dry.She is still showing some signs of new growth and has more time to develop.cut the last Papaya down trichomes were cloudy. I’m going to dry her a little differently than the rest.Im going to hang in small branches on hangers as I’m trying to avoid any molding on the big center cola.Drying at 67 degree and 62 percent humidity and she smells amazing.

Plants are all doing amazing ! They are all growing in a very even and uniform fashion. Seems like quality genetics so far. Plants are on track to be transplanted by next week or one more tops Fed with very light dose of supplemental nutrients at 6.5ph Plants are getting 25k lux.

Update of the garden

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

Cooled off a bit, trellis has been great! I made it modular so I can just slide it up the supports and she grows. It has really helped develop a nice even canopy and will help with support in the long run. Seen a few ants and aphids, nothing major, may up the Lost Coast sprays to every 5 days. Heavy top dress of homemade screened compost mixed with Gaia Green 70/30 AP/PB. All in all super happy with this strain, very easy, uniform growth. My other 7gallon same time/strain is 2 weeks into flower, but hates being contained, unlike this girl. Love the early flower in a smaller pot with the same strain to really see how she flowers.

Honestly, things are pretty much the same. The daytime temps are still a bit warm, and the nights drop cool, so that challenge hasn’t changed. Despite that, the plants are still doing their thing, and the buds continue to bulk up. I’d say we’re looking at roughly two weeks left give or take. If they look ready sooner, I’ll cut then, but we’ll let them guide the pace. I’m honestly just impressed they’ve kept pushing through despite this AC situation. It’s definitely been a challenging grow on that front! Once this is done and I get the AC serviced properly, I’m definitely running these strains again. I’m excited to see how they finish up in these final weeks! Oct 5-11 Vegetative steering? Aiming for: leaf Temp -80f CO2 -1250ppm VPD +1.04 (65%/75F) Vegetative Steering 6P1/ 2P2/1P3 Each P1 water event is 15 minutes apart. Seems to far apart. I think i Need More water events, with less time in between events in order to get a strong veg signal? Watering for 2min(110)ml May need 3min waterings(currently not getting runoff) I have to hand water every two days. Day 11 flo 18.5inches tall 12inches from light(moved to 16) 1300ppm Day 18 Defol Sprout chickpea(2days) Soaked 1cup for 4 hours then rinsed. Completely covered then Soaked overnight. Rinsed then poured water out and layed jar on the side for one day. Blended with water(aloe vera and coconut) Day 19&20 foilarspray Alfalfa/Chickpea SST with Kelp,aloe,coconut,silicate,microbes brewed for 1.5 days Day 21 Fed the Tea blend Leaf temp 80 65kluxx Co2 100 Plants look like they responded well to the foilar. The flowers at this stage are my best performance yet .crop steering may be working?

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!
