Day 42 - changing into flower, maybe 1 male/female... idk, yet.... adjust a little, here, there, add abit of water, and 6.2 PH and 1400 ppm ... been watchin the temps.. heading into summer so it'll be 33oC outside the tent tomorrow..... the tent is keepin below 26oC atm, gotta watch the weather, lol........ keep the water in the tanks below 22oC if i can..... goin to stock fridge and freezer with chilled frozen water/ice ... for the tanks on hot days..... been bending them abit, they've fully recovered from the trim, i'll let em go now till they need a final mid flower trim..... not much to report... "monitor, adjust" part of the grow... 👍😎

As autumn approached, the number of daylight hours in the jungle slowly began to decrease. First to 16, two days later to 14 and at the end of the week 12. We let the girls rest and didn't have much to do apart from getting an even canopy under the screen.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 One plant showed some magnesium deficiency so gave her an Epsom salt cure. The nutrient manufacturer said that the product contains enough magnesium but apparently one of the girls didn’t find it sufficient. On day 3 watered them with de-chlorinated tap water and Silica, 3 litres. Day7 the first irrigation with Hybrid nutrients has been given, 5 litres each. 11/20 Monday she’s doing really good she won’t need water today I moved the light pretty far away I may even turn the temperature down even more I am flowering three blackjacks in the other tent of the same size at 90 W with the Mars Hydro light so for the last week I may just take it down even more two weeks I smoked some after just drying it for two or three days and it is completely different from smoking blackjack. It is a very intense sedative smell. Smells like gum smells great, but I’m kind of astounded at how strong it is. After smoking just a little bit I was moving super slow motion. . . Took me over two hours to pour one cup of coffee. That’s how slow time became. It was greatest day of my life. 11/21 Tuesday. I just squeezed the buds a little bit and these are the most dense buds that I have grown in the three years that I’ve been learning to do this. The only difference is I used the Boombastic and I used fruit infusion by General hydroponics yesterday, so I really think that one nutrient supplement the Boombastic has made all the difference. I’ve never had that before. It’s so great greatest day of my life. 11/22 gave half gallon of water with nutrients and supplements 11/24 I gave her just plain water today. I think I’m just gonna do water for the last couple of weeks. She is looking spectacular really starting to take off now. I think she has enough nutrients in the soil so I shouldn’t eat any for the last couple of weeks I always put too much. 11/25 Saturday morning. I gave her a little bit more water this morning i’m going to keep her nutrient free I think for the rest of the grouch she only has maybe two more weeks and I don’t wanna make the mistake of doing this too long on critical. She’s doing really good. This is one of my best ones I think maybe two weeks more.

Wow! That's what I find myself saying every time I look into this beautiful flower tent! It's the end of week four bloom and dang am I happy lol. I'm absolutely in love with this plants strong indica structure. She looks so strong and sturdy, can't wait to see how she looks in full bloom, stacked up with flower... gorgeous plant. We're running the insect Frass now, full strength and I also put down some hummus and compost as a top dressing just to be sure that these ladies have enough food. 10/02/24 buds are a nice calyx structure. some purple coming in on the leaves. excited to see how she finishes 10/08/24 shes stanky and frosty. luckily the colas arent very thick due to lack of direct sunlight hecause our humidity levels are ridiculous and id have so much more of an issue with mold

01/24 - She ran great - Hit a hiccup with the mother and lost her right after the last set of clones where plucked - Human errors prevented the plant from reaching full potential but did produce very big Colas and final product was dense sticky nuggs with a wonderful terpene profile. She (clones) was awesome to run and will definitely be running soon and will be in rotation. 01/26 - The ladies locked up pretty nicely - Dense even 3.5G nugs - Run 60/60 on the dry and it completely negated the dreaded "Hay Smell" terpenes are very noticeable with clean notes of the lemon while burning.

Photos from Day 1 to day 7 Sprouted 2 days after planted them. More or less I call them "B" and "S" because at some point, I guess in this first week, I may have overwatered a bit, one of them, and I think it made her grow slower during a week or so, before it got up to its growth again. I was only spraying them with water but I was doing it 2-3 times a day and may have done it 4 times once or twice... My first grow, I may have studied many videos and foruns, but somethings are only learnt when tried. And this "try" went juuust a lil sideways. Its ok Lights were at 50% I guess from the moment they felt earth. I found it fascinating how fast they grew in just 12 hours give or take. Check the photos I also used plastic bottles on tip of them in the first 3-5 days. Temperature inside it was from 22-28°C. RH 70-90%.

This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Wow I’m very impressed @420fastbuds they have put on weight like crazy a lot of fading going on with her got purps on her also turning out to be a great grow will be coping down in maybe two weeks only water no nutrients a lot of cloudy need some more red on her.

Sorry I couldn't get better pictures but I'll try again tomorrow. This strain certainly deserves it. Very low leaf to bud ratio on this plant. Dark pink or orange stigmas retracted into the buds as they finished and one pheno had the densest nugs I've ever grown. This year realky showed me the difference of quality seeds compared to "local" clones. After a rainstorm on the large fluffier pheno I found a "trapped" bumblebee inside one of the massive colas. I had to help it out. It was literally "stuck" due to the resin. This strain had the most pleasant aroma that stuck with the finished product. Due to the small amount of leaf to bud ratio this plant was a breeze to trim. That being said I still don't have it ALL manicured up but I'm working on it. All plants seemed fairly pest resistant as well. If you enjoy indica strains (90/10) with short flowering times than this should certainly be on your "to grow list." Having these plants totally finish before October was very helpful. According to many local growers (both patients and commercial growers) this was "the worst year for growing cannabis in memory." I've had the best year I've had in decades (probably ever) both quality and quantity wise.
