Gorgeous looking plant, you can tell she's definitely an indica strain by those beautiful fat leaves that she has, I'm very excited to try this strain for the 1st time, and also it's the first time I grow a strain from this Spanish Bank from the canary islands! I'm pumped to be able to grow her this year, let's see how she performs!!

La Bomba, however, decided to keep things interesting… she had some “birth pains” and even went through a tiny surgery 😀 (seed shell removal). Week 3 begins for LSD and Green Crack. Both ladies are looking good, but had some small signs of deficiency. Added big bud coco and upped feeding another liter (split feed day 1 & day 5 of each week), hopefully this will help resolve the deficiencies. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Busted out a new soil analyzer, used it on another plants pot that has been having issues, 7PH. Last weeks transplant and used of PHd 7 water worked and cleared my calcium/magnesium lockout but now causing autoflowers and bagseed to grow a bit more slowly. As far as this SD plant, it's still seeing 6.0-.6.15 steady and that's why this plant is bangin' through early vegetation quickly. I've also caught this problem early with this plant and have gone way down on ferts and water amounts. Each afternoon when this plants fan leaves start to look a bit drab, one full cup of straight RO with a quarter tsp. Maxigrow, let that dissolve, fizzle the water and turn pp yellow, 1.5mL Sweet Raw and 2mL Hydrogurad, stir and add by feeder syringe. I'm pretty sure soil is fine too as bot lh my soil readers show 6 and 7 respectively on all pots(should be, same soil, same nutes) but you can literally see plants that I've overfed, this SD plantbis not one of them so soil is well buffered. I'm also scrambling to raise the lights to get all 5 plants good top coverage but the more I raise the lights, the more I see nodes and lateral braching stretch. Definitely not an auto or Indica Dominant. Bought some #2 2.6Gal pots today, will sterilize and coat with copper sulfate and mix up some Ocean Forest with a bit of silica sand, tiny bit of Oak wood ash and also new, Dr. Earths Blood Meal with whats left of my Tree and Nut dry amendments from same company. Have had alot of good results with these mix in or too dress fertilizers, buds are much more dank than when using chemical ferts! I will most likely cut out the maxigro, start using Brier Rabbit Blackstrap Molasses, keep using Floralicious Plus and the Botanicaire line and back with the Alaska Fish Fertilizer, all just in much lighter amounts!! Blood Meal will make this plant HUGE and FAT...just remember...be super skimpy on the amounts used!

April 28 - May 5 This week the nutrients have been completely phased out and they are now just sipping plain TO water ph balanced to 5.8 still. As they start entering into the flushing zone with harvest day quickly approaching. Daily tricome inspections become the focal point In these final days and or weeks. I

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/6/2024- Germination Day 12 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. A cinch to grow and really had no problems at all. It’s my first time trying anything from Mephisto Genetics and I’m very impressed. Gave nothing but filtered water after applying the 5 tbsp of grow dots at the beginning of veg. Went into flower pretty early but still grew to a nice size with a beautiful cola and had some great trichome production. Would definitely run it again!

Apologies for not updating last week. She is the last girl left in the tent so I decided to get some canes and spread her out to the extents of the tent. She is progressing, the hairs are turning but have not gone very dark yet. Still some 'new' white hairs around. I have not even looked at the trichomes yet, the flowers look quite airy at this stage. As there are no other diaries of this strain I'm flying by the seat of my pants here 😂 I'm thinking at least another 3 weeks left..

The structure is nice but I broke the right side apex 2 days ago ( will try to clone it even if the apex is not the best part of the plant for a successful cloning ) , I hope that it will makes the right side more bushy than the left side. No feeding , only water but I will give her some MegaCrop soon.
