Exciting first few days setting up everything in and around the propagator.
I think I'll start counting the vegging days when the seedlings are 7-10 days old.
Still tiny plants but they seem to thrive good. I'm not adding any nutrients yet, probably somewhere between day 14 and 21.
The CO2 generator also seems to be doing it's thing.
Very steady growth. They all seem to enjoy the co2 I'm giving them with my DIY setup.
Today I'm mixing a fresh batch for more co2. I'm also adding a third bottle.💪🏽
Day 18: They are still living of their feeding from 5 days ago. I think the closed system makes them not needing as much water as an open system because everything circulates inside the tent. #thoughts
They get a 100 ml every 5 days. I'm going to keep giving 100ml per plant untill they need it every other day.
Day 26 I removed the first 2 nodes so the plants can focus on the top growth.
After 50 days I could finally transplant them.
I'll veg them for about 1 or 2 weeks more depending on how fast they'll grow because I want to do 1 more topping to create 8 main cola's each.
Almost 10 weeks of veg😅 but I have a feeling that my patience will be rewarded.
Each plant has created 8 very nice new tops.
Also all plants have been showing preflower so they basically are ready to flip.
Because I want my plants to be a bit taller I'll wait some more. If they keep growing at this same rate they will probably be flipped in to flower somewhere next weekend.
Please follow me on Instagram @Growinhome_ 🙏🏽😁
Removed all the new side shoots and the first set of fanleaves.
Did this because I want the plant to focus all of its energy on the main stem. I dont need any new side shoots.
I thought that this weekend I would flip them in to flower. But I'm going to wait some more. I want to see more height in the plants and I think that after this defoliation that hight will come quick😁🚀
PATIENCE IS KEY!
On day 75 I changed the light colour from blue to red to see if this can promote some stretch before changing the lightcycle to flowering.
‼️I did not change the hours of light‼️
On day 76 it seems like there has definitely been some kind of reaction from the plants overnight. They seem to have stretched a little bit. I'll keep a close eye on em these coming days.
Day 78.
Now this is the canopy I was looking for! I am so excited🤩
Look at the difference with the last update post 3 days ago! All because I changed the blue/white light to red.
2 more days before we go into flower.
Day 80 the scrognet is in!
Today I placed the scrognet and changed the timer to 12/12.
Lets flower these gorgeous ladies!
Yesterday I removed some new grown side shoots again. The next defoliating will be done after the first few weeks of flower.
The plants are thriving!
Up till now no issues at all, its all going perfect!
I did start giving them more water. They get 2 liter per plant with 2 days in between. They are very thirsty, as they should!😁
Day 18:
The canopy is developping nice and evenly. I wonder how much mire they will stretch. I think that ill do some defoliation at the beginning of week 4
Day 20:
Today I did a big defoliation right before the third flowering week ends. It was a tough job reaching all the leaves in the back because I cant move the plants.😅 But we made it!
Now the light can reach much further down the plants for better/bigger buds and better aeration.
DAY 30, LESSON LEARNED
It's been a tough few days for the ladies. But, what doesnt kill u makes u stronger😁💪🏾.
After my last post the plants started to show some nutrient burn.
I believe that happend because after my last defoliation post I gave the plants the same amount of water and nutrients as before. But ofcourse the plants were much smaller after the defoliation, so what I should have done was reduce the amount of water and nutrients.
So these last days it was just watching the plants and keeping a close eye on em.
The buds are growing nicely, but the fanleaves look like SH*T!
I cant figure out what exactly is going on with the plants. Especially the middle plant is showing much more signs of (something I cant figure out)🤷♂️🏽
After 65 days of flowering I took the ladies down. They have alot of trichomes and even some drops of oil coming out of the leaves.
They are now drying.
