New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. Monday Gave her some enzyme, I think it's supposed to help the plant break down nutrients so we'll see. I'm exactly 70 days from seed, 63 days since I transplant it to the 10 gallon pot, it should be a 10 week auto flower so I'm hoping I'm close to harvest. The flowers are really starting to turn purple now, I suspect its a sign that it's finishing, looks really cool close up! Tuesday No work done today, dry day. I think the buds are ripening, that purple is really starting to come out right across the canopy, can wait to see what it's like right before cutting 😀 Wednesday Gave her 5l of water with 5ml of plagron pure enzyme, I'm checking the trichromes under a glass every day now to try catch the right time to harvest, the buds are so frosty, still clear trics I thunk. Thursday Dry day today, its very nearly finished, trics are stating to turn Amber, I reckon I will give it a week more, maybe less and then I'm cutting! Friday Just clean water today, nearly at the point of cutting! Saturday No work done today, tomorrow is the last watering, its going into 2 days of darkness and then I'm cutting, so much work now so close! Sunday OK, so I think I've given it the last watering, I've just turned off the light and I'm going to leave it in complete darkness for 48hrs, then it's cutting time! 😀 I'm going to hang the plant whole, I'm only going remove some of the bigger fan leaves then dry trim, I've read that it's better that way, we'll see

Evolution 💪

Harvest was rushed due to unforeseen events. No matter though. Gave her a very rough wet trim and hung each branch from my scrog net. Drying process was also rushed and my A/C failed just before the finish line so they are a bit dry and not AS flavourful as it could have been. They have been curing for 2 weeks - 3days. Still better than anything I can buy within a 300km radius and overall one of the best bowls I've smoked in years. Important Lessons: - Accurately monitor PH/TDS/EC. - Smaller pot size (?) - Feed way less nutrients (especially for autoflowers) - More reliable and cost-effective way of adjusting Temp/RH

My little purple frost monster is now hanging in my drying tent she got that stanky GMO smell dark purple not a big yeilder not very big colas but super frosty fire orange pistols the leaves turned gold during the fade feed her all the way to harvest but she had a carboflush the last week and it really helped she prob yeild about an ounce so here's to another harvest lfg

“The Thrown” which is my tallest plant gave me some issues this week due to the fact that I had to suppress the plant because of the height. Broke a few branches that I had to tape up which is not a problem. I break branches on the regular around here purposely for growth 😈. Heavy rain this week, so I had to watch out for humidity issues, which I took care of. On top of that my basement flooded, had to break out the water pump. This transition week i’m glad I was able to have more time at home to monitor my plants. El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. Me gustaría estar más encima este cultivo pero la salud me está impidiendo un poco este 100% con el proyecto. Starting week 4 of Flower. I expect things to slow on the upwards growth as the plant shifts focus onto the bud development. Ran out of potassium silicate. Started to notice a slight smell when leaving the door open and returning after a few minutes. This started in the last couple days

Week 4 At the beginning of this week she looked rather unhappy. Think I’m gonna leave off the rain water for a bit and go back to tap. I’ve ordered calmag and bio heaven so I can’t wait for these to arrive. I also removed about 12 lower bud sites and defoliate. She’s a strong plant every morning I had to keep forcing the colas down. She loves a spraying in the mornings :D She’s drinking very well. And omg the size of the stem at this age I’ve never seen this before. Toward the end of the week she went into flower. Is this right? Happy with her so far

In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

She has turned an absolutely beautiful pine/dark red. Buds appear to be medium sized ROCKS. Trimming this one will be an absolute breeze. Trichomes keep developing but mainly on the lower decks. (Upper decks are mostly populated I guess...) SHE IS NOW SMELLING LIKE EARTHY+SPICY ORANGES/PEEL. - From skunkyfunky to funkyfruity to this has been a super-fun olfactory ride! In the early flower weeks I had been skeptic where this is going, but now I'm convinced! If she just stays like this I'll be fucking thrilled.. but she has about two weeks to go and we'll see where she ends up. I'm excited to see/smell! Still super fucking happy with her root system/infrastructure. I'm feeding her (late bloom now) at about 1.6/1.7 EC with 20:9:18 N:P:K and 13x/4x mg Cal/Mag per L. No deficiencies no nothing 😍 Also: no further defoliation 😊

Another week, not much to report, flowering beautifully and smelling like heaven. Did some minor defoliation. Day 75 - did some major defoliation, they are really really sticky and smelling super nice. Watered with enhancer.

Man this thing is going from strength to strength. Just stacking hard. Smells amazing, looks amazing, grows amazing. Hard to fault this grow, the training technique this round worked awesome. So much frost and the deep red 😍😍😍 Pretty chuffed with this one. Did some defol as she only has a few days left. Nugs are rock hard so can’t wait to see the weight.. plain water and shooting powder to help stack
