This weeks update is just basically a photo/video dump! At the start of the week I did some lst and a tiny bit of defoliating and the growth just seemed to burst, I noticed they seemed to began to flower! So I went ahead and introduced the net to the set up and the Iโ€™m stoked with the way they filled this tent right out!! These cream manderin are truly fast growing buds. I also started adding Big Buds Liquid to the feeding schedule and so far, so good. At this point Iโ€™ll just be uploading photos every Tuesday/Wednesday ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป

It will be nice to walk true this grow of my two Fast Buds 'Banana Purple Punch' auto flowers together! I asking a lot of grow questions and take part in a life of this grow community. New week starts! ๐ŸŒž28.11.2022 Today I came home and saw my smaller one showing four stigmas in the upper knot. I was afraid of she already starts flowering, but mates from 'Grow questions' made me kalm, answering that she's just showing her gender. It's too early for flowering and thet's how all autos do. Thank You, my friends, You've saved my nerves (as usual). I have watered my girls with full pack of GHE nutrients, including 'GHE Diamond nectar' and 'GHE Mineral magic'. Solution ph: 6.0 Drenage ph: I forgot to drain vater from pot's bottom and after four hours it was gone. So I'll measure it next time. I've done some more LST and sprayed them with 'GHE SeaWeed'. ๐ŸŒž29.11.2022 Today I asked one more grow question: 'Why all new brunches on my autu flowers has triple fingerd leaves?' Mates told me it's a fault of my substrate Ph and I can do some flushing to fix that. I took one on my girls (#1) and made this procedure deeping a whole pot in a bucket with 10 liters of ph5.9 water. Maybe it's some kind ob a black magic, but it did NOTHING. Inflow: ph5.9 Outflow: ph6.7 Substrate ph after 3 procedures: 6.9 I gave up. I'll not doing this to #2 and let them grow in that cursed substrate till the every end. I made small defoliation after all of this to bouth of my girls. Lowest leaves (first floor) was cut with a brunches growing from it. Also I cuted one fingered leaves of a first week. Results are on downloaded photos. ๐ŸŒž30.11.2022 Photos downloaded. Mb its my mind tricks itself but I noticed #1 starts growing faster after flushing. It was smaller than #2 and now it's almost the same size and even looks thicker. Tomorrow we'll see it more closely and I'll flush #2 if it's true. I watered #2 with full pack of GHE and sprayed them bough with 'GHE SeeWeed'. Also my BPPa#2 showed her gender today (stigmas on a upper knot). Yep, we have a girl here! ๐ŸŒž01.12.2022 It's a 'rest day' today. Nothing to wright. (Photos downloaded) ๐ŸŒž02.12.2022 I made some LST and sprayed my flowers with 'GHE SeaWeed' solution. Substrate ph rised by ph0.1 and now it ph7. It's critical already, especially when my BPPa#1 starts to show stigmas everywhere - almost in every knot. I think pre-flowering starts soon. She looks soft and wobbly, I think there is a deficit of some elements. But my substrate still wet, and I can't do anything. Tomorrow I'll make them both to bath in ph5.5 nutrients solution - and it's only thing I can imagine to do now. Relying on the best, waiting for tomorrow. ๐ŸŒž03.12.2022 Today I watered both of my plants with 'GHE' nutrients (TriPart + Fulvic acid + Roots stimulator + Selicates) and sprayed 'GHE SeaWeed' on the leaves. Also, I think I finally resolved my cuestion: 'Why ph of substrate don't want to go down?'. I take my water from kitchen crane, it has ~ppm110 and ~ph7.5. But clorine in this regular water slowly makes the reaction with asid I use to low it's ph. And slowly but surely ph of solution rises. I noticed this by making ph5.8 water and waighting 24hrs - ph of solution became 6.7 the next day. My previous grow I used distilled water only and thet's why I didn't know about this problem. It's a pity I made this guess so late. But it's better late then never. From now I will make ~ph5.2 water immediately after watering and it will react till next procedure (2 days). It's ph should rize above 0.9-1.0 by this time and become near ph6.0. I already prepared water for the next feeding - clear, without any nutrients (by now) and ph5.25 on it's start. Today my solution measurements looks like this: - Substrate ph before watering: ~7; - Solution ph: 5.8; - Solution ppm: 680; - Solution EC: 1.1; ... - Substrate ph after watering: ~6.9; - Drenage ph: 6.7; - Drenage ppm: 710; - Drenage EC: 1.03. ๐ŸŒž04.12.2022 The 'rest day'. My experinent with water ph was sucssessful. Now I know how to treat usual water to feed my flowers correctly. My next grow will be nearly perfect. And also, it's my first (and last) grow using autoflowers seeds. I don't like a grow process ether a future results. Regular flowers are what I can grow the best. So I'll stay on a 'photo' side of a force (after this auto grow ends). Week ends.

This week was all good she starting to go right into flower now she's got a nice smell to her .kind of like fuel or gas.Will be interested to try more of the seeds that I have .I will just put them in the ground because of my coco grow that I've got to concentrate on later this month. Will have a lot of diaries to deal with.thank you for looking at the diary and will be an update on this plant every week till finish. Happy growing and remember it's 420 somewhere

Project Blue Tent follows four individual plants, each documented in its own dedicated diary from seed to harvest. All four plants share the same environment, lighting, irrigation system, nutrition and training strategy. By keeping as many variables identical as possible, we can observe something particularly interesting: How much personality can an individual phenotype still show when everything around it remains the same? Every plant has the same opportunity. Every plant receives the same care. Yet somehow... They still manage to tell their own story. Today we're checking in with Pickle Lemon Haze F1 โ€“ Plant A. And this week marks a pretty important moment in her story. The canopy is full. The structure is ready. And we're preparing for the final step before flowering. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฑ Week Seven โ€“ From Building to Preparing For the last several weeks, the entire focus has been on building the canopy. We topped. We trained. We installed the SCROG. We guided branches through the screen. And slowly, square by square, the empty spaces disappeared. Now the Blue Tent has reached the point where the plants have essentially done their job. Looking from above, the canopy is remarkably even. All four sisters are sitting at approximately 60 cm, and because the SCROG net was lowered and tightened earlier in the grow, the majority of the new growth has been directed horizontally rather than vertically. That was the objective. Not taller plants. More usable canopy. And Plant A has done an exceptional job filling her allocated space. Her foliage is rich green, her branches are strong, and the amount of healthy growth packed into that screen is impressive. But there comes a point where adding more foliage isn't necessarily the goal anymore. Now we need to prepare what we've built. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ The SCROG โ€“ Mission Accomplished The SCROG has been one of the most important techniques we've used during this vegetative cycle. For anyone unfamiliar with it, SCROG means Screen of Green. Instead of allowing the plant to develop a few dominant vertical branches, we repeatedly guide the growing shoots underneath a horizontal screen. As each branch moves through the screen, we can distribute the future flowering sites across a much larger area. The result we're looking for is a relatively even canopy rather than several tall branches competing with one another. And this isn't something that happens in one afternoon. It's a process. A little tuck here. Another branch redirected there. A few minutes of observation every day. Eventually, the plant does most of the work itself. This week, looking across the Blue Tent, that process has reached its goal. The screen is effectively filled. And that means it's time for the next stage. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โœ‚๏ธ Defoliation โ€“ Cleaning the Canopy Before Flower This week's main event is defoliation. And because this technique is sometimes misunderstood, I want to explain exactly what we're doing and, perhaps more importantly, what we're not doing. Defoliation is not simply removing leaves because we don't like seeing them. Leaves are essential to the plant. They're responsible for capturing light and supporting photosynthesis, so removing them unnecessarily doesn't automatically make a plant healthier. The objective here is different. After weeks of vigorous vegetative growth and SCROG training, the interior of the canopy has become extremely dense. Leaves overlap. Branches cross through one another. Lower sections become increasingly shaded. Air movement through the middle of the plant becomes more difficult. And some foliage is simply contributing less to the productive upper canopy. So we're performing a deliberate cleanup. Removing selected leaves. Opening congested areas. Improving visibility. Creating more space between branches. And preparing the structure for the very different demands of flowering. The goal isn't: "Remove as many leaves as possible." The goal is: "Remove what isn't helping the structure we're trying to build." โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Why Defoliate Now? The timing is just as important as the technique. A significant defoliation is a form of stress. Even a perfectly healthy plant needs time to respond after losing a meaningful amount of foliage. That's why we're doing this while the plants are still in vegetative growth rather than waiting until we're well into flowering. Right now they're running 18/6. They're actively growing. They're not yet trying to produce flowers. So if the plants need a little time to rebuild their balance after the cleanup, we have that time. The sequence we're following is very intentional: Build the plant. Fill the screen. Clean the canopy. Allow recovery. Then flip. I would much rather have the plants enter flowering already recovered from this work than perform a major cleanup while they're simultaneously dealing with the transition into flower. Once the lights are flipped, the priorities change. The plant will begin redirecting its energy toward reproductive growth, and I want that transition to happen with a clean, well-organised canopy rather than asking her to recover from major training at the same time. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿง  Defoliation Isn't a Magic Trick Another thing worth mentioning is that defoliation isn't some magical technique that automatically produces bigger flowers. It's a canopy-management tool. We're trying to improve the relationship between: ๐ŸŒฑ Growing sites ๐Ÿ’ก Light distribution ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Air movement ๐Ÿƒ Leaf density ? Plant structure The upper canopy is already receiving strong light. The problem we're addressing is congestion. When four vigorous plants share a 100 ร— 100 ร— 200 cm space, the interior can become incredibly dense. By selectively removing some unnecessary foliage, we're opening pathways through that structure. Better airflow. Better visibility. Less congestion. And a cleaner starting point for flowering. It's about managing the environment that exists inside the canopy, not simply making the plants look prettier. Although... I have to admit... They do look pretty spectacular after the cleanup. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’™ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฟ Pickle Lemon Haze F1 โ€“ Plant A And now, back to our girl. Plant A continues to be exactly the phenotype I thought she might become when she first started showing her personality. Vigorous. Responsive. Confident. She has consistently been one of the most energetic plants in the Blue Tent. Every time we've given her something to work with, she's responded with more growth. Topping? She recovered beautifully. SCROG? She filled it. Daily training? She simply kept producing new shoots. Her internodal spacing remains nicely compact, her stems have thickened substantially, and the foliage has developed that rich green colour we've been looking for. The most impressive part is probably how much growth she's managed to produce while still maintaining a very manageable structure. She's not simply growing wildly. She's growing usefully. And that's exactly what we want at this stage. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿฅฅ Feeding โ€“ No Changes Yet The nutrition remains completely unchanged. And honestly... Why change something that is working? Current feeding: โ€ข Plagron Hydro A โ€” 1.9 ml/L โ€ข Plagron Hydro B โ€” 1.9 ml/L โ€ข Plagron Hydro Roots โ€” 1 ml/L Current EC: 1.92 mS/cm pH: 5.8 The plants are showing excellent colour and vigorous growth, so I'm not interested in increasing the nutrient strength simply because we're approaching flowering. Instead, we'll watch their response to this week's defoliation. If they continue consuming aggressively and maintaining that healthy green colour, we may increase the nutrition next week as flowering begins. But for now... The plants are happy. And happy plants don't need unnecessary changes. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’ง The Drip Irrigation Continues to Impress The Mars Hydro automatic drip irrigation and drainage system has also become one of those pieces of equipment that quietly proves its value every day. Each plant is receiving approximately 1.2 litres of nutrient solution per 24 hours, delivered through the individual drip system. The solution passes through the coco and the resulting runoff is automatically collected and removed. That consistency is particularly useful in a project like this. We're trying to keep four plants under almost identical conditions. Manual watering can certainly work, but maintaining exactly the same routine every day becomes increasingly difficult as plants get larger and more demanding. The automated system removes much of that variation. The roots receive a consistent supply. The plants receive the same routine. And I get to spend less time carrying water... And more time observing the plants. The canopy is healthy. The irrigation is performing reliably. And the nutrition is producing exactly the response we're looking for. So for now... It's becoming genuinely difficult to tell the four plants apart. The canopy is so even that the individual plants almost disappear into one continuous sea of green. And that's actually a fantastic result from the SCROG. We started with four individual plants. Different branches. Different growth patterns. Different personalities. Now we've shaped them into one remarkably uniform canopy. But underneath that uniformity, the individual characteristics are still there. And that's what makes documenting them separately so interesting. Plant A still has her particular way of growing. She's still one of the most vigorous. She's still incredibly responsive to training. And she's still quietly trying to occupy every available centimetre of space. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Cleaning for the Next Chapter Once the defoliation is complete, the room should immediately feel different. More open. More breathable. Less congested. And that is exactly what we're looking for before the flip. We're not trying to make the plants small. We're not trying to weaken them. We're simply creating a cleaner structure from which the flowering cycle can begin. The canopy has been built. Now we're refining it. Then comes recovery. And after that... We've spent weeks manipulating their structure. Now they need time to respond. I'll be watching the new growth closely, keeping the environment stable and monitoring how quickly they recover. The nutrient recipe may increase next week depending on what the plants tell us. The irrigation will continue doing its job. And if everything looks as good as it does now... We'll be ready to flip the Blue Tent into flowering. The SCROG is full. The canopy is organised. The plants are healthy. The cleanup is done. Now we let them recover. As I said, she has become a single fat dense and sticky main cola, very compacted, looks like it's just 1 huge fat nugget. Very nice aroma but not stinky at all. I'm enjoying her, she's not very big but she's literally a single big fat nugget.

18.02. F30 Day 30 of flower โ€” and this run just keeps getting better. Today I finally applied Bio-PK. Each plant received 1 liter with 10 ml Bio-PK. Slightly later than the official feeding schedule โ€” maybe 2โ€“3 days behind โ€” but honestly, no big deal. The plants are in peak condition, deep green from top to bottom, no yellowing anywhere โ€” not even in the shaded lower areas. That alone says a lot. Iโ€™m expecting the Bio-PK to give the bloom phase another serious push from here on out. If things continue like this, the coming weeks should be explosive. I did a very light defoliation today and removed a few leaves that showed minimal signs of powdery mildew. It was extremely minor and fully under control. The environmental conditions simply donโ€™t allow it to spread. Still, Iโ€™ll be upgrading airflow soon โ€” two additional AC fans will definitely go in. Prevention is key. Thrips are completely gone at this point. And hereโ€™s the crazy part: this whole run started as a simple test. I popped a random seed, selected it as a potential mother without knowing what to expect, took clones โ€” and what weโ€™re seeing now are those exact cuttings. A total mystery boxโ€ฆ but one that performs on an exceptional level. Current height: 1.37 meters. Only about 10 cm away from the light. I could raise it a little more, but theyโ€™re handling it perfectly. No stress, no bleaching โ€” just pure pressure. Theyโ€™re pushing hard. Real hard. This is, without question, the strongest run Iโ€™ve had so far ๐ŸŒฑ.

Bellissime, sono proprio soddisfatto. Una Tropicanna banana รจ decisamente piรน matura delle altre 4. Peccato per il caldo, ma col climatizzatore quantomeno rimango sui 28 gradi, sempre meglio dei 35 dell'estate scorsa. Ho 3 fertilizzanti specifici per la fioritura in piรน rispetto alle volte scorse, spero di vederne i risultati, l'ultima volta i fiori non erano gonfi come volevo. Vedremo

7/6/2021 - Trimmed lower fan leaves as they were being blocked completely, and a few tips were yellowing. - Continuing to lightly bend the upper branches so the lowers can catch up. - Bought some Gaia Green veg + bloom dry fertilizers as I expect I'll be flipping to flower soon. 7/7/2021 - Watered in a little bit of Gaia Green's veg fertilizer. - Foliar fed w/ DIY kelp extract. - Yellowing/browing on a new leaf, can't identify what it is. - Staked down the branches on the upper mains this evening to open her up for more light penetration, she was gettin' real bushy. 7/9/2021 - Trimmed out middle to expose canopy

Week 3 โ€“ Growth Explosion & Big Move! I couldnโ€™t believe my eyes when I opened the AC Infinity propagation tent after coming back from Munich โ€” these girls exploded in size! Even without much water, they kept pushing. Iโ€™m starting to think the trick with Sonnenerde is keeping moisture on the lower side. Being away for 5 days, though, had its downsides โ€” a few plants stretched into the SANlight Flex and got some light burn on their leaves. Still, theyโ€™re looking like some of the juiciest, darkest green plants Iโ€™ve ever seen. Papayton is still slightly ahead, but a few Lemon Cherry Runtz are catching up fast. Despite being kept in small pots under relatively low light (this setup is more for clones/seedlings than veg), they developed super tight internodal spacing โ€” perfect for future training! I just repotted them into 7L pots with a solid layer of expanded clay pebbles and some Japanese bonsai substrate (clay-based) to help them stand above the moisture in the Autopot tray. The rest is filled with Dope Soil by Florganics, so now theyโ€™re rocking two awesome living soils in one pot. Theyโ€™ve officially graduated to the 120x90 (4x3) Homebox under two SANlight EVO 4-120s. 5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesnโ€™t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

7/17 so she went through a massive stretch in the past week. Lots of beautiful side branches. 7/21 shes hungry for nitrogen. Thats one of my biggest issues with autos is they get low on nitrogen at the begining of flower and then im cautious of adding nitrogen during flower. Well lets see how she grows. Shes lookong pretty good and happy and strong so far. Those pistils are crazy for being only the first week of flower. I cant wait to see the final result๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’š

The plant in the foreground has really has started to change from white hairs to orange, the second lady who was stunted early on, still has very platinum white hairs, but her buds are fattening nicely. The smell went from a beautiful sweet and earthy smell to a very heavy sweet and skunky smell. I absolutely love it. Two more weeks to harvest, and I am very excited. I made the mistake of brushing my arm against a bud while filming this, even after washing my arm with soap twice i still smell like dank bud!

Week 6 and my babies are still in veg ๐Ÿ˜ฅ but I'm sure next week they will finally flip! ๐Ÿ˜ Now, what can I say about the girl that's on the back? - She has some really long leaves and those stems are thin if I compare them to other plants I've grown. - Some of her leaves look too shiny, dunno why! - The internodes are really short, which is good and she's VERY bushy. Perhaps she went thru some kind of deficiency and that's why she looks like that? Or maybe it's something else? No idea! The other hand, the other baby: - She's developing really well. Ahead of her sister and I'm sure she'll be the first one to flip! I mean, it looks like she's already developing some pre-flowers! :D - She's a little taller compared to her sister - The internodes are short and the leaves are huge! They are also slightly darker compared to her sister. I reinforced the LST on both of my girls and I both tucked the leaves (a lot) and defoliated the plants just a little. Last week ahead. Next time will cut nitrogen earlier. These ice cream cakes did not like it at this level. Also had a little dripper clog and mokums tulip got a little burnt. At these high ec levels they are super sensitive to drybacks.

Ended up being a pretty successful grow , had a few challenges with summer temps but after switching from HID lights to LED lights mid flower ( which was stressful at the time ) the girls didnโ€™t miss a beat . They arenโ€™t dry completely yet after hanging for 10 days maybe another 3 or 4 days and Iโ€™ll know dry weight etc โ€ฆ that total decreases every day tho , canโ€™t help but throwing a handful of bud on the dehumidifier every morning.
