Semana del 9 al 15 de septiembre 2024. Estas Autos BSF van con todo, muy vigorosas, excepto una blueberry y una Orange Blossom que van un poco lentas.

Gave the ladies their first dose of nutrients. I made sure they were very diluted. they loved it. When I came to check on them, they were all praying. Yay.

Firstly, the video of the popcorn bud from the mother plant, is showing what’s known as xylem sap from a process known as guttation. I never new that until this. Additionally, I am sorry to have missed out on so much documentation. I can talk forever about my plants so this will be short and to the point. Fast vigorous growth. Very resilient and hardy strain able to shrug of cold damp conditions, and freezing nights down to 32 Fahrenheit. The immune system seemed to be very strong. Never did I find any pathogens or even pests! A few but those little ghost spiders really helped out. During harvest, a thorough inspection resulting in surprisingly clean product! Finishing with large “airy” buds with fat bracts covered in trichomes. A rich musky cheese smell that surprisingly tastes of berries! I suppose I’m getting ahead of myself. But I was able to finish cure and smoke test the mom before harvesting the clone. Finally: this fast 50-60 day pheno will continue popping new bracts up to 90 days!!!! Or at least the mother in the tent did. Also, the dry weight is an approximation as I’m not finished with trim.

As soon as I got these seeds I dropped them in a bowl of water @10am on April 30th. Planted directly into soil 7pm at sundown on the 30th. I wet the soil before planting. We had good temperature for germination week. The evenings were still lower 60's but the days warmed up above 70 °F. May 1st it was cloudy but 80° F. We had good sunshine on the 2nd. We received a heavy rain in the afternoon and intermittently that night into the morning of the 3rd. Our temps cooled off with the rain and we didn't get above 72° F on the 3rd. Two popped on the 3rd and the last one on the 4th. It was a little wetter than I prefer, but our soil drained well and fastbuds genetics can handle the less than perfect condition. The above listed nutrients were premixed into the soil at the listed rates per gallon of soil.

So, here we are. From now on I'd be updating this regularly and with good pics. As you can see it has changed very little. For me, the bud looks cool. Thanks to the defoliation and the lst y have grow another colas but smaller ones, definitely two techniques I will improve the best that I can. This journal is far for ending but it has giving me a lot of energy to get bigger and better. Lots of problems to overcome, but happy to do it!

From previous experience, the next week should really fatten these buds. My last two feedings were PH water because I saw some slight tip burn. There is some trics starting to build up now but at this point I know she will not be crippler. When it is time, I plan to really fade her out and off nutrients. There is still new growth at the tops of each cola and I think these will be the biggest ones I have grown so far. She looks healthy and happy so far but is slowwwwwww.

Now this is where things get interesting. According to the growth cycle of autoflowers, we’re now hitting the end of the vegetative phase, and the first flowers are starting to form. The plants have developed an even canopy and look relatively bushy. I reckon this favors an indoor setup, since the light comes straight from above with little to no diffusion—aside from reflections off the inner tent walls. I am aiming for a VPD between 0.7 and 0.8 kpa now to support plant growth! I’ve adjusted the watering schedule to 1.5L per plant every third day from now on—bigger plants, bigger thirst! Bonus: Tomatoes and an absolute Hulk of a parsley plant!

She’s showing some preflower. Been slowly increasing her nutrients. Hopefully she’ll pick up the pace when she hits flower.

Day 35- Did a really good watering today. I added a tablespoon of blackstrap per gal of water. Will see how she looks in the AM. Also been doing a little defoliation here and there. Will take more pictures tomorrow. Day 36- Took my tent out of the closet in my spare room. I wanted to be more discreet but it was too hard to work out of so I took it out. Really loving the new set up though! The girls DEFINITELY enjoyed the watering yesterday. Waiting on nutes for a bit longer since I'm using FFOF. So just water and blackstrap for now.

Acapulco Gold has grown out of control, the lights can't go up any further, and the plant is burning on the LED's. This really is a massive plant. Let's hope the smoke is good, as it looks like there will be a substantial amount here by the end! 😅😁👌 I have been turning the plant around to try and minimize the damage from the heat and light. Other than that, the plant is looking really good, this is going to be a long one for sure! I can't wait to see how the colas form. 6.8.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 1ml Trace 💜 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.1 PPM: 425 12.8.25: I watered with 3.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 349 13.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 1ml Trace 💜 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 351 17.8.25: I watered with 3L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 2ml Trace PH: 6.0 PPM: 391 The plant has been drinking very heavily, and it was time for a top dress. is what I used. 9.8.25: I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments; As a base for the dry amendments I used: 🧡 Worm Castings - 1L 🧡 Coco - 1L 🧡 Perlite - 1L Dry Amendments: 💚 Ecothrive Life Cycle 2 TBS 💚 Ecothrive Bloom 2 TBS 💚 Ecothrive Charge 2 TBS 💚 Diatomaceous Earth 2TBS 💚 2 TBS Cinnamon I watered this in with 9.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 1ml Ecothrive Trace. Clearly got dominated by her pot mate. Looks and smells awesome though. She got planted about a week after her pot mate. Maybe thats why she got the short end of the stick. These plants are not mine. I am just documenting them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. Variable costs: -Seeds: 13,17€ -Soil: 6€ -Fertilizer: 3,50€ -Power (100 days 18h/day): ~25,92€ (exact figure after harvest) -Total variable costs: ~48,59€ -Total costs per grow: ~51,76€
