Hello, fellow growers! I’m happy to share with you the progress of my plants. This is my first grow and I’m amazed by the beauty of these plants that I’ve only seen in pictures before. The plants have grown a lot in the past weeks and they are almost done stretching. They have been stable for a day now and I don’t expect them to get much taller. They are looking healthy and green, with no signs of pests or diseases. However, I did find some fungus gnats on the fly traps that I set up as a precaution. To get rid of them, I watered the plants with nematodes and adjusted the pH level of the water. I think this should solve the problem and prevent any damage to the roots. I’m planning to resume my normal feeding schedule in two days. I’m using organic nutrients and following the manufacturer’s instructions. I want to give the plants enough food to support their flowering stage, which is about to start soon. I can already see some tiny orange hairs on the buds, which means they are ready to bloom. I’m very excited to see how they will develop in the next weeks and what kind of aromas and flavors they will produce. I’m hoping for some big and dense buds with lots of resin. They are growing nicely, i forgot to upload for some time and now they are finally fully flowering, i pretty much fertilze them with everything.

Welcome to my Black Jack b sponsored by Sweet Seeds 2 yrs ago nearly. Veg Weeks & Pre/Post Pre Flower Weeks 7-9 She was really healthy during her entire veg period. Moving into pre flower she didn't do any excess stretching. Plant was doing very well moving into pre flower it took a good few weeks for her to flip but it was building up a good base up and down the nodes. I used plagron right through half of flowering possibly more. For the last 4 weeks I moved all my plants to Xpert Nutrients. MAINTENANCE I carried out a good bit of work making sure all parts of her was getting light (as much as she didn't get, it was more then enough to get A grade bud just like it was done under a 100w). I stripped a lot of shoots coming into & during pre fower. So when coming in to fattening all her energy went into making buds that were brought to harvest. Knowing light would be an Issue (lack off) i made sure to use all my skills to move energy through a plant. After pre fower was over (plants nodes stop growing up) and I left her a few days for the leaves to take in energy building stigmata. Then I done 10-15% defoliations for mid wk into fattening and beyond until I felt was enough removed (3-4 stages). Now on her last few days I took loads of leaves off to help ripening. She's 95% cloudy and 15% or so Amber. I had to give 10l of water to flush the nutes I had given her. 4l was given and ppm was 650. So I had to give another 6L to get the ppm down to 250 area. 3 days its been under light for 11hrs with 30m of UV-A doses from 65cm away (they are attached to my light IR/UV45) FLOWERING/RIPENING WEEKS Plant moved very nicely through fattening. Buds are lots but whets there is pretty darn good for been at the side of a FC3000 300w light in a 1m2 tent doing many other plants. And this been by far been under the best part of it. It sat on the outskirts as this fem is one of my 1st 5 I started together with 7 autos in phase 1 of my 6 phase crop with 10-15 plants per phase. Took (NUMBER 4 this 1 is). 14 weeks from seed. And she's been through a hard flush. As the last 4.5 weeks she's been on Xpert Nutrients. NUTRIENT GIVEN So I know tats a large list. But as I updated my a lot of weeks into 1. I left on the list what was given. All of plagron was given through most of the grow right through to the middle of fattening and then I switched it (all my plants to Xpert Nutrients bloom nutes). And even then, I normally give more than 2-3 nutrients in 1 feeding 2-3 day window. Its important tat a plant take up these as individual so I typically leave a few days or at least 1-2 water feeds (or low ec feeds such as an enzyme, or calmag to help break down any excess nutrients left behind from last feed) I added my SE5000 and have this 60+cm away just finish off the ripening process. Pant has a good amount of bud. And really like this breeder. What have I been missing out on Sweet Seeds both plants are dreams to grow. Thanks to my sponsors. Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

She has grown to be a beast. She’s been very easy to grow medium feeder ever other day I keep ppm 400-600 so I’m able to feed more frequently. She loves it stay tuned she just warming up

5x5 is one week flower 3x5 is 2days

I’m week behind due to work a lot these days but here’s my girl on day 39 of flower. Starting to fill out more nicely now. Did some minor LST and defoliating as well to open up the canopy a bit. Patiently counting the days down till harvest. A little over 3 weeks left for this girl. One more feeding with nutrients and then every feeding afterwards will be plain water. Till next update ✌️🏾

Finally feel like she's headed into flower, thickening of bud sights, growth has slowed, she must of shot up 2' over the last month that flower stretch is real. This will push her to mid October unless I have a miracle, I'm really banking on nice weather. I did a heavy defoliation on the inside, clean it up for better airflow and to make it easier come harvest. I have to battle mold and mildew in the fall, I used to just use a foliar spray of apple cider vinegar, which works great for mildew, but I need something stronger for mold. As such I've started a Lactobacillus Serum, that with a few drops of organic food grade cinnamon oil in a foliar spray has said to reduce instances of botrytis by 90%, anyone have experience with Lactobacillus in battling mold /mildew?

Sep 13: still going. Smells nice but the buds are not forming normally. Bad phenotype but apparently not a hermie. Will keep going for another couple weeks at least. Sep 16: defoliated lots of fan leaves to provide more direct sunlight on the buds. She is putting on weight and might be better overall than i thought.

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.

Well 150 days wasted down the drain. I woke up and decided to check the girls this morning and found a fun Webbie surprise across the bugs. Looks like she managed to find some spider mites along the way. Had to biohazard the entire house and all of the plants. She got fed to the pigs because we had to dispose of that bitch ASAP. Been a long morning since we had to do all of the laundry I had to bleach all of the tent it’s a hard lesson to learn. I guess I must’ve gotten lazy keeping everything safe and sanitize between harvest. Lesson learned all around. Thankfully it’s not my first rodeo with these so we got the green cleaner on the way for the rest of the ladies.Been a long sad morning

June 17: The garden area had just under 3 inches (75mm) of rain in the past week which was really needed. Temps have been mid teens to low 20s deg C. The wind has been relentless and the plants continue to take a beating. Overall pleased with the growth but some concern, because preflowers are showing, they may be stunted and flowering early (due to environmental stress).
