The ladies finally got the tent to themselves after being a bit crowded for a week. The spacers I put in last week really paid off and the stretch has been fairly controlled. All four plants are looking about the same age and development stage. The buds are really coming out! This week is gonna be a fun one to watch! These seeds are being exactly what I want!!! ___________________________________________________ Got in there midweek and got rid of most of the remaining fan leafs. Tried to keep a few around, but it was very necessary as the buds are all receiving alot more light! Going strong through this week. Saw a bit of discoloration on the leaves. I'm chalking it up to PH and adjusting to the GH feed as the bushdoctor was used up. Very happy with were ALL the plants are! They are doing their thing!

Both girls are healthy and happy. Buds are solid although still a bit small. Today my Mars Hydro TSW2000 arrived and it's already unpacked and hung. I raised the light dustance to 45 cm. I also moved the cheapo 100w LED to 2 new FastBuds Zkittlz Auto seedlings. Wow, what a difference good lighting makes!! The Mars Hydro TSW2000 is well made, easy to install and bright-ass daylight LED!! I expect to see significant fattening of the buds over the next 2-3 weeks. Update: I swear the existing buds doubled in size within the last 24 hrs after switching out the light to the Mars Hydro. I'm excited to see how these 2 finish. 4/22 update: I'll be damned! The box from the new light (which is heavy, double wall corrugated) fell onto both plants...I heard snapping everywhere! Good ole electrical tape to the rescue!! These girls look wounded with all this black tape! It's several hours after bandaging and I see no wilting or noticable changes....keeping my fingers crossed! The videos show both plants pretty well recovered from the damage except the purple stems and veins. I have some cal/mag coming Monday.... hoping that will fix that issue. Both are loving this new light and continue to pack on the bud weight.

Oh man I'm excited about this one now. I think I may try and fill this tent out with this just this one plant. Earth box and manual scrog on this Gelato. After getting her in there and realizing how easy she is to bend over and how easy it will be to get a monster plant with this set up, I'm super stoked. This will probably end up being a super long veg time but that's okay. This is exciting for me. Something different.

Into week 8 - I think I've managed to time these well... yes, they've had 40C+ temps - but only in the really final weeks and I bunched them towards the wall so they got more shade and less of the infernal sunshine. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing... the heat is good but it sends them crazy and stunts their growth really badly. Feed schedule is mostly the same except in the last 10 days I've skipped the feed on 2 nights because I wanted to make sure they've extracted all they can from the soil/water/nutrients. It's also a bit of an experiment to see if it pushed the calyxes to swell a (little) bit more? I've got some photos running alongside these and I might make a diary for them as well. The very last plant in the video above is the Sweet Seeds "Gorilla Girl XL" - amazing colours that the camera can't pick up properly. My pick of the bunch aesthetically, she exploded beautifully. The very first plant is the Barney's "Gorilla Glue" auto - this and one of the "Sweet Mimosa XL's" seem to be a week slower than the others. Still a lot more furry than finished :)

Beginning of week 10 and she looks massive if we compare with Hanna and few weeks a go with herself, looks like will give huge buds... any tips will be appreciated 😊

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. My guess is about 25-35g. Any other guesses? Happy Wedding Cake day 😇

With our RainBow Sherbet we are about a week late compared to the others, it is now starting to throw out the first hairs that reveal the sex, this is probably the plant where the main lining has been applied in a more effective way. If you look at it, the plant has a main structure that is a perfect T, this forms the main line of growth. From here the branches start up to the third internode where I topped again. On the laterals no topping except at the two ends of the main lining. It is really very beautiful to look at and practically flattened to perfection on the ground. With autoflowering plants, topping at the second internode is advisable as I did on this plant because it is easier to keep it low and perpendicular to the ground with the main lining and above all because flowering is anticipated as much as possible. Let's say that the plant starts to flower at the 5th internode, you understand well that cutting at the second instead of the third also saves time. It is a plant that has a long internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it is very suitable for late lst interventions. Another one is growing straight and is still small but I will show it to you soon, I have concentrated a lot on this one in main - lining. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have a lot of beauty and a lot of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. Auto Magnum grew really well. 1 seed 1 plant is how it should be. Excellent germination, and pretty fast grow time for a sativa dominate hybrid. Strong spicy, citrus, sweet smell. Really frosty as well 24 hours hang dry time then into the cannatrol. I am giving her an extra week 15 hours total light (decreased by 4h) Getting longer and bigger the new stems from node. If keep growing I will give them another extra week of Veg. Weather changing and now sunlight is less intense.
