Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

Sep 13: still going. Smells nice but the buds are not forming normally. Bad phenotype but apparently not a hermie. Will keep going for another couple weeks at least.

All I can say is wow. The crystal development and the absolute stank of this genetic is something to behold. A brush of the arm against a set of pistils will leave you with matted arm hair and a difficult mess to clean. Strong limonene presence in 2 of the phenos, heavy red color through most stems. Will be a very special harvest and a very sticky trim. The frost is living up to the hype so far

Went crazy with LST as I'm anticipating that stretch as they decide to start flowering through the week! I'm so excited the 2 with the older soil happily took nutrients almost to the point I could have went even full strength. The grobiotics is a special formula I got a sample of from a close friend. It consists of canna leaf, organic molasses and lacto bacillus!!!! It was great for improving the life of my soil I look forward to buying it when it becomes available it's not really available yet as far as I know. It improved my microbial life 100% my soil is definetly living and these plants are super happy. I hope you guys are enjoying these diaries as much as I am. FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Day 38-45 (Day 39) Almost overnight, nearly a third of the white pistils turned red. Not sure if this is something do with environment but it wouldn’t surprise me if it had something to do with the feeding I gave it yesterday. Who knows (Day 42) I was going to give a fat defoliation today but I’m second guessing myself. I might take a few of the leaves that are sitting on top of each other but that’s it. After that, I’m on cruise control until the end. I’m watering in a gallon every other day and 1 day off when they look a little overwatered. All plants look happy and herm free. Bud size is still lacking overall. In my experience, buds don’t really swell that much after day 45ish so this is pretty much it. Can’t say I’m too happy but I’m certain the quality will be on point. (Day 43) I’m seeing a little more fade each day now. It’s almost pinkish right now. (Day 45) I’ve been taking a few leaves per plant every couple days or so. Once I can see that almost every budsite has adequate light I will stop. Just for good measure, I’m going to give a final feeding of seaweed extract. We still have 2 weeks of fattening up to do and they could definitely use a K surplus. And since this is a water soluble nute nothing is lingering and breaking down for more than a few days. Earlier in the season I had a seedsman white widow and a local m39 plant I was going to flower if I got less than 4 female BBB’s. I was lucky enough to get 5 so I gave the insurance 2 plants to a family member. M39 is now done after 60 days of flowering. And the white widow, which was really stunted is going another 10 days at least. Both plants were flowered in a closet under 2 cheap amazon blurples totaling about 200w. They were in 1.7 gallon pots with amended soil nearly their whole lives. They were only top dressed once around day 30 of flower. M39 must be a low feeder because it really didn’t get any deficiencies after it left my hands. It was consistently the most vigorous plant in the tent during veg too. From what I understand, it has the classic fruity m39 smell and because it’s not grown with paclobutrazol it’s not freakishly dense. Awesome. I will post some more pics and report on the smoke once it’s dried.

Happy Easter Everyone! Time for an update During week 10 NEW LIGHT installed!! ViparSpectra XS2000. So excited! I think the plants are a little shocked from the change in light but hopefully they recover just fine. This week 3 of the plants definitely started showing some issues I have never had before. I started noticing rust spots on the upper top leaves of the plants which I believe was the consequence of the following... A.Nutrient lockout B. Soil PH too low from over fertilization C. Soil PH being too low due to the peat moss in the growing medium. I have purchased dolomite lime as an organic alternative to properly balance soil PH for my next grow. I did do a light flush with PHd water at 6.5. Plan for week 11 Going to be adding some Calcium to the soil during next watering to see if that helps new growth on the plants (Tuesday) At this point I will be just keeping an eye on more rust spots forming on the leaves. I have backed off on adding more P & PK at this time because I think I over fertilized last time. I am learning a lot still with every week of this grow. I know now how to dial in the nutrients and better amending soil first. Since my soil has peat moss I think that had a lot to do with the acidity as it breaks down. Really hoping these girls continue to finish out okay! Thinking that they will take the full 14/15 weeks at this point.

Después de una mudanza, volví a armar el hydro, pero con piezas nuevas que conseguí dentro de todo barato. Aún así le falta mucho para lo que me gustaría armar con más espacio y un poco más de presupuesto. Pero estoy urgido de poner las plantas porque ya enraizaron. Las plantas son 10 esquejes de Green Tiger del banco BSF. Tienen entre 5 y 8cm. de altura. Parece una planta muy frondosa, dado que la madre me permitió cortar un total de 24 esquejes en 48 días, creciendo en hidroponia DWC. Los pequeños van a crecer por unos 15/20 días y luego pasarán a floración. Mañana veré que tal anduvo el trasplante. Hoy ya por lo menos está andando. Ya lo iré poniendo más cómodo.

It is still actively growing as I am lightly defoliating to maintain good lighting throughout the plant. She is getting thirstier so watering on average about a gal every 1-2 days.
