Overview of the whole grow so far.. everything is looking healthy no signs of mold pest resistance is there with the help of the dragonflies and natural ladybugs and other predators in the garden including garter snakes.. the snakes just coil around the trunk of the trees.. Everyday the odor of the garden grows stronger skunky and sweeter.. Cinderella 99 has the strongest odor and most fragrant buds, followed by the Purple Haze, then the Strawberry Cough then the Afghan hash plant and then DJ Short Blueberry but to be fair the blueberry and the Afghan we're late bloomers as we all know

Started to flush the Pineapple Express today. Trichomes are cloudly, harvest in one or two weeks.

Allright guys & gals, In my Quest to mastering the art of growing my own bud I've reached the classic, overfeeding point but i've decided to just dile it down a gear and keep at it...I'm amazed with the Northern Lights blooming, it looks way readier then the Diesel Haze, eventhough it was planted 2 full weeks after. the budsare smaller still, but fostier and just looking riper....I have noticed the bigger leaves getting some nasty nuteburn (or at least I guess thats what it is) . I will definately go super easy on the nutes next grow. ....Trust the process.... Update... The NL is suffering quite a bit... Update... Giving just water the next times to see if they recover... Pistils becoming brown now and smell slowly getting stronger...

Hallo an alle Gartenfreunde, dieses mal gibt es reichlich zu erzählen. Zuerst einmal, dieses Tagebuch sollte so ganz und gar nicht verlaufen. Wir Bitten betreffend dahingehend einmal um Verzeihung bzw. Nachsicht! Aus der Not heraus entstand eine Erde, die mit jeder Woche unbrauchbarer wurde. Sie war so arg am arbeiten, dass sie gestern morgen Samstag d. 17.05.25 einen Boden mS- Wert von sagenhaften 2,96 aufwies. Ähm ja... wie und warum Sie noch stehen, dass ist eine Frage die wir uns nicht so schnell beantworten können ^^😇 Letzte Woche um diese Zeit lag der Wert bei 1,9 mS was auch krass zu hoch war. Den Wert hatten wir genommen weil wir wieder eine Woche am Jonglieren waren. Alle 2 Tage sind die Sonnensegel bis zum Mittag kaum hochgekommen. Es war so als würde man gegen Windmühlen arbeiten. Zu dem kam ja noch wie zu erwarten ein Nährstoffblock was wieder rum ein Mangel an Mikro- Nährstoffe hervorgerufen hat. Da in dem Bereich vieles miteinander verbunden ist um überhaupt verwertet zu können, ist es schwer das einzige Element aus zu machen was wohl mehr Nährstoffe und oder gar weniger benötigt. Insgesamt macht das auch spaß, den sogenannten Fehler ausfindig zu machen aber auf einen solchem Zeitraum ist es nur mehr als Kraftraubend. z.B Schlaf, was ist das? ^^ Hahaha Zunächst haben wir uns auch nochmal die Werte des Leitungswassers über ein Onlineportal des ansässigen Stadtwerks angeschaut. Wir haben hier einen sehr geringen Anteil an Calcium aber einen sehr hohen Anteil an Magnesium. Im Ausgang schon schlecht weil man beides in einem verabreicht (Calmag) Betreffend dessen wurde klar, hier muss eine Lösung her, sonst stünde dem bevorstehendem (Log out) nichts mehr im Wege. Ergo: Einzige Möglichkeit, zurück zur alten Schule, neue Erde (sehr neutral) und alle 3 Damen wurden gestern Abend zum dritten umgetopft. Statt 15 L haben sie jetzt 20 l. Es war der reine Wahnsinn... Wir waren sprachlos, die Wurzeln sind komplett nur in der zuletzt nachgegebenen Erde eingewachsen. Sprich so ca. 10- 15 cm tief. Die Umgebung und das neue Zelt, einfach ohne Worte... Dennoch war das aller wichtigste, dass Sie alle diesen Stress überleben und uns am Ende doch Bitte mit wenigstens einem zufriedenstellenden Ergebnis belohnen werden. Das Autopot- System hat soweit gut funktioniert, nur nicht mit dieser bescheidenen Erde. Nun schlussendlich hoffen wir, dass sich jetzt schnell erholen und richtig reinhauen werden, da die Secret Source eine etwas andere Figur macht. Aber war ja im vorstand identische Vorgehensweise. Nur das wir bei ihr schneller reagiert haben. Allgemein sind die ersten Eindrücke bis hierhin positiv. AAAAAber es ist wie es ist, es kann noch alles möglich sein. Dem muss man sich bewusst sein. Unser ,,Jahfri,, der auf die Pflanzen aufpasst, birgt viel Kraft die mit euren tollen zusprechenden Kommentaren sich rein nur positiv auswirken können. End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 7 went well! Took a few more bottom leaves because it was getting quite crowded and they were making it harder to find spots around the rim to bind her to for LST, and they were getting mashed when I had to pick her up anyway. Lots of benign neglect this week... Haven't fed her very heavily or done much other than let her do her thing. Thinking another week or so in veg. Maybe 2. Have to try to time it so my schedule will be open when she finishes so I don't feel tempted to rush again.

Crazy growth this week

05/31 -Day 64 ~650 PAR across the canopy. A & B continuing to stack. C & D’s pistols are starting to change colors along with some swelling. 06/03 - DAY 67 (C) top nugs are feeling tight and hard. Still assuming another 2 weeks till chop. (D) Foxtails coming out everywhere but not too extreme. Possibly another 2 weeks. (A) & (B) slowly progressing still.

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

Hi everyone ☺️. Today the New Aeroponic Diary begins, as before with the wonderful variety Gelato from Zamnesia . This time I planned to leave the full 8 cuttings instead of 3 as in the last run. For test purposes I would like to give a very short vegi time this time. To be precise, I would like to switch them to flowering a few days after rooting. Since the growth is extremely extreme on Aero, I think that a few days will be enough to get 8 little trees 😋. Of course everything is documented and uploaded. Today the cuttings were cut, brushed with clone gel and placed in the aero system 😃. Of course, the entire system was cleaned very time-consuming with disinfectant after the last run, and all seals, pumps, etc. were checked for their function, so that the new run could start today 👌👍. 11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1.5 hours. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wad 465grams.

Day 64 - The start of week 10 and decided against defoliating and just tucked all the leaves in the middle instead. I’ll still pluck some here and there when needed. Buds are getting nice and fat and still has some decent time to fatten up even more. Day 65 - Ended up having to give her 2 gallons of water today, she’s starting to drink a lot. Buds are still fattening up nicely and smell is strong as hell. Day 67 - Not much happening, just watering/feeding when she needs it and doing a little light defoliating every couple of days. She should be ready for water tomorrow. Day 68 - All still good and she was ready for water and nutes so she got 2 full gallons today. This might be her last actual feeding of nutes before starting to flush but I’ll see how she is over the next week or so. Day 69 - Just some updated pics for the day, nothing new happening. Waiting for the pistils to start dying off but no real sign of that yet. Day 70 - Ending week 10 today and she’s got some fat and stinky buds. Haven’t really started looking at trichs since all her pistils are still bright white and healthy. Hopefully she’ll start winding down here in the next couple of weeks.

This plant grows like crazy very strong genetics ,massive leaves and thick stem ,week 3 now strech its over she’s cleaned and now just have to start pumping those flowers ,getting more thirsty with every day very nice dark green colour with only 2-3 yellow leaves which i took off but hey she will pack a punch i guess so this is for now love

Hey Friends, end of Week 10 from seed Colas are looking Very nice Noticed some orange color on some leaf tips so I lowered the amount nutrition when feeding I used a magnifier to have a closer look at the colas, trichomes used to looked like little crystals, now they are bigger and cloudy. So far no amber coloring on trichomes I need some advice as to when I should begin flushing and harvest Smell is slowly getting stronger, like a muffin with a small touch of gas ⛽️ Looking Forward in seeing some bud growth in the following week, will keep you guys posted!
