---11/23/24--- Day 18 from germination I noticed that the plants are picking up growth again, seemingly accelerating each day. The new growth seems healthy, and the main stems are thickening and becoming stronger each day! Unfortunately, my soil revealed itself to be under spider mite attack. I tried to remedy the issue by spraying some Captain Jack Neem Oil - will keep monitoring and re-applying as needed. Still feeding the plants plain, Ph balanced water. --11/20/24--- Day 15 from germination I transplanted the babies into a 5 gallon AC Infinity fabric pots, each filled with: * Moistened Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil * Several handfuls of perlite * Several handfuls of vermiculite * 1 tsp of Mycorrhizae towards the top 25% of the soil I watered the top of the soil around the plants with ~250ml of plain, 6.3 Ph water. Before the transplantation, I noticed some yellowing of the bottom leaves on 2 of the plants, paired with slowed growth the past couple of days. I suspect this was either due to a nitrogen deficiency (notice how the the roots look rootbound) or slight overwatering. Either way, the issue should resolve itself, as the new soil will provide breathing room + more nutrients. ---11/19/24--- Day 14 from germination I was going to transplant them into their 5 gallon fabric pots, however, I'm probably going to give them a couple more days to establish a more robust root system. I noticed a weak skunky smell coming from the Mamasita strain. It started around day 10 -ish. Water: Plain 6.5ph balanced water every 2 days. Light: 18/6 light cycle. Vivosun VS4000 @ 50% most of the time, sometimes increasing to 75%. Air: Clip-on fan set to 3/10 speed to constantly blow at the plants.

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.

La variedad es bastante fuerte, firme, está linda, a mí me gusta se q hay algunos "fallos" x lo q veo, x lo q leí... Pero se que hubo unos fallos de novato desde el principio, que para el próximo no pasarán, de a poco voy a ir mejorando en mis cultivos y sacar buenas y hermosas flores... Y nada, van bien... La variedad está bien, estás 3 son muy diferentes entre si, aún asi están lindas, a mí me gustan se q hay algunos "fallos" x lo q veo, x lo q leí... Pero se que hubo unos fallos de novato desde el principio, que para el próximo no pasarán, de a poco voy a ir mejorando en mis cultivos y sacar buenas y hermosas flores... Y nada, van bien... Grow Journal Week Zero : Special Project Kickoff 🌱 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to start this new grow journal, featuring a special project that I'm incredibly excited about. Here are all the details for Week 1: Plant Details The plants are already 9 weeks old when transplanted and have been kept alive through careful repotting. They are topped and include 3 plants of the Banana Krumble feminized strain from Greenhouse Seeds. 🌿🍌 Tent Setup I’m placing them in a 90x90x200 cm tent. They will be in 20 liter fabric pots filled with Living Soil from Florganics. Watering will be managed by the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil, as the soil needs to be kept constantly moist. 💧 Soil Additions Nematodes were added to the soil while mixing the living soil, not during transplanting. Control System Everything is monitored by my TrolMaster Tent-X system, thanks to TrolMaster, who kindly provided me with the controller. This system also controls and dims my lights. Don't miss out on this great deal! 🛒💰 Goals and Expectations Last year, I overextended myself by trying too much and expanding too rapidly, which led to less control over my grow. Therefore, I’ve decided to go back to basics: only one strain in the tent to refine my skills. 🌱 To focus more on one thing, I chose the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil as it needs to stay constantly moist. During my last Automatic run, I introduced the plants around week 4, which was not the best decision. It was too early, so I had to top them to keep them small, leading me to practice mainlining. I succeeded with one plant, but learned a lot from the other two without any serious damage. After 6-7 weeks of growth under truly wild conditions in terms of VPD and stress, they were finally moved into their 20-liter Living Soil fabric pots and the humidity and temperatures were adjusted. Weekly Progress This journal starts in week 9. The ladies have perfectly adapted to the soil and recovered well in the 2 weeks since being placed in Living Soil. I will create a timelapse of the flowering phase; due to the above-mentioned conditions, it wasn't possible during the vegetative phase. At times, I was really worried about the ladies, but they seem to be recovering. I am excited to see what this run will yield. Watering Schedule An aquarium pump constantly supplies the watering watertank with oxygen. I am eager to take you on this journey with me. Let’s see how this setup works and what you all think!
