Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

I cannot wait for the harvest to begin… dam… this plant is doing the thing that make the pots to be done[South African Phrase], she has shot up, during my absence it’s like it was getting watered with nutrients and water mixture, and all she was getting was water. next week hopefully I’ll find the measuring tape and measure the height of this beautiful plant, my eyes cannot believe my labour, it’s fruits are becoming unbelievable, I hope that the bud is going to be big and juicy, I want to nothing but to smoke the best.

Week 4 that i had missed and didn't upload so here it is <3

Still vegging strong! Haha they are about the size I want before I flip. One of the center plants was a late germination and is a week behind I was trying to let it catch up in height and let it stretch out a bit more before I flipped but I’m getting close to just doing it. They are all really full and honestly massive haha it’s not usually my style to just let them grow and not do any defoliation but hey trying something new. I will at some point thin them out a bit. I will do a bit of bottom lollipoping before I flip for sure just to help with access for watering later on. Not much else to report, thanks for stopping by snd as always 🍻

---GENERAL COMMENT--- Girls are at day 4 technically, but i like to update Sunday always, so keep that in mind, is 1/2 a week now. From germination to soil emerging took 3-4 days, no issues at all. 100% germination rate from multiple breeders till now. I will try my best to do a stress free grow again, so will grow mainly naturally. ---RQS QUICK ONE--- She is tiny, tiny, tiny. The smallest seedling i ever have worked with. Hope she takes off soon! ---DAY 10 UPDATE--- over some days she got volume, just started to use RECHARGE, and wow, that thing works, 48H you could tell something is different, since watering with it the stem is thicker and is growing more vigorous, lets see how it will impact overall! ---DAY 14 UPDATE--- This is the last day of this week and this girl is showing some kind of wired markings since the beginning in the first sets of leaves, will do her anyways... She grew a lot, showing already the intension of shooting up more stems like her cousin. She will be on plain water and recharge till i stabilise and figure what is going on with her, at least for a week. This strains tend to be easy and do well with low nutes, light and etc, really basic, i like to pay to see so i never give up from a pheno, but is not fun to have issues... No worries though there is always a crop after the other 😎👍. Lets see what happens next.

Just couldn't resist to give a go 😁🤤 Week 0 Germination Jan 25-Feb 1 Germination in propagator. beans landed directly in substrate within 5 min after opening the package. Started believing that all methods like glass water, paper towel etc. are really useful if seeds are old, stored incorrectly or coming from shady seedbank. If seeds are from trusted source with strong genetics wouldn't be bother trying anything else than planting your beans directly to substrate. So far 100% success This time both baby girls started showing their heads within 2 days after planting seeds. Jan 25 Seeds planted. Propagator at 20 degrees and 90% humidity. Jan 27 Girls popped through the soil. Warm welcome to Kitana and Aphrodite 😍 Jan 28-30 Both babies growing at the same pace. Jan 31 Time to move from this baby size propagator to a better and more comfortable place. Feb 1 End of germination week. All went painlessly and successfully. I am super excited for whats to come 😁 Hopefully this will be another easy and successful ride. Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. We often said the bigger the pot the bigger the yield...not in this case..or in my case. Here are the datas with 12 differents seeds of Baby Boom and different pot sizes and fertilizers: Pellets: 25L: 21,96g 18L: 18,3g 18L: 14g 12L: 10,5g 10L: 16,2g 10L: 12,48g 6,5L: 9g 6,5L: 12g Liquid fertilizer for automatic strains: 25L: 25,66g 6,5L: 11,5g 6,5L: 8,2g 6,5L: 7,5g Average is quite the same, but I think I will use medium sized pots for outdoor session (between 10 and 15L). Small pots gave me the best ratio. Even with pellets or liquid fertilizer taste depends on the genetic. I found too much different plants, some going to the ruderalis side, some but few to the Blueberry side I wonder, and the other one will be the Northern Light side. It's a great automatic strain for beginners...and for beginner in smoking, too. Effect is not too strong, but gently surprising. Uplifing at the beginning and becoming more fat after the time. I recommand to smoke this strain. It has not so much taste by vaporisation. Update: absolut strong and fruity pollen...nothing to do with the flowers: so good

Note: Little chem-burn this week. Feed just water for 4 days with correct PH and they jumped back. Was not that bad though. Day 21 on flower!

Hallo liebe growmies, ich hoffe euch geht es allen gut! die Woche war wieder eine erfolgreiche Woche 😁 ich muss sagen ich bin erstaunt wie gut die runde bis jetzt läuft und wie schön sich meine Ladys entwickelt haben, bis jetzt habe ich noch keine Mängel vernehmen können und die Damen sind meines Erachtens nach auf dem besten Weg zur sicheren ernte aber nun zur Woche Am 08.03.23 also einen Tag bevor diese Woche begann habe ich den compost Tee angesetzt dafür habe ich 2,5L Wasser was ich ja eh in der Tonne ab stehen lasse entnommen und habe es in einen leeren behälter von destilliertem Wasser getan, dem ganzen habe ich 2x luftstein hinzu gefügt mit Belüftung's Pumpe (Eheim 200) eine kleine mini heizung für 8 L Aquarien (regelbar) auf 20 Grad eingestellt. Dem ganzen habe ich dann 15g/L wasser compost Tee (37,5g bei 2,5L Wasser) hinzu gefügt bactrex drauf 1g/L wasser (2,5g bei 2,5L Wasser) und 5ml/L orgatrex ( 12,5ml bei 2,5/L wasser) gab es auch noch hinzu das ganze habe ich dann 24 h belüftet und bei ca 20 Grad Wassertemperatur gebraut (Bactrex gab es jetzt 1x bei dieser gabe hinzu,bei dem nächsten compost Tee fällt bactrex dann weg) hab jeder Pflanze von dieser Lösung jeweils 0,5L an die Pflanzen basis gegossen vorher habe ich die Ladys aber natürlich Gewässer mit 2,5L Wasser und Dann Die Lösung oben drauf. Danach saß ich Dann knapp 4 Std vor dem Zelt und hab ausgeschnitten unten rum (alle Blätter und Triebe unter dem netzt entfernt) danach hab ich noch ca 1 Std damit verbracht Triebe von oben heraus zu entfernen die zu dicht an anderen standen ( war echt nicht einfach da nicht zu viel weg zu schnippeln) aber ich glaube ich bin auf nem guten Weg. Den Rest der Woche habe ich nur noch gehofft das sich die Pflanzen gut erholen von dem was ich ihnen angetan habe, und hab die Fächer Blätter so gut wie es geht täglich runter gedrückt unters netzt damit genug Licht eindringen kann in den Baldachin, aber irgendwie hat die Damen das harte ausrasieren nicht wirklich gestört da wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, ist der stretch immer noch in gange ist, aber schon deutlich weniger geworden zum Ende dieser Woche. Am Sonntag dem 12.03.23 gab es nur Wasser zum trinken hab jetzt 3,5L Wasser gegossen und somit den Topf komplett mit Wasser gefüllt es kamen dabei ungefähr 20 ml Wasser unten raus, was halb so wild ist, aber immer hin Weiss ich jetzt die gieß menge um den Topf gleichmäßig zu füllen. Ich wünsche euch allen eine schöne erfolgreiche Woche! Cu ihr growmies!

Week 7

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. This strain really likes the Nitrogen..they were starving... 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!

Week 9 flowering

Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and gave her a feeding of nutes. She was pretty thirsty and took almost 2 full gallons of water. I did remove a few more fan leaves today and did check the pH runoff and came down a little bit, sitting right at 7.0. I’m thinking she’s down to the last couple weeks so might give her one more feeding of nutes then flush her out and just give water till the end. Day 72 - She’s still fattening up more each day and enough that I can notice the difference every time I look at her. I did notice a few leaves towards the top that are starting to fade to an off color so hopefully she’ll hold out and continue to fatten until harvest but I’ll keep an eye on her. Day 73 - Nothing new to report today, just pulled her out to tuck some leaves and check the trichs. Still quite a bit of clear but some milky in there. Most of the pistils are starting to turn orangish/red. She might be getting down to the last two weeks or so but I’ll let the trichs tell me when she’s ready. Definitely won’t be giving her anymore nutrients, just straight water from here on out. Day 74 - Nothing new again today, she’s looking and smelling great. I think two weeks tops left. Pistils are almost all shriveled up and an orangish/red color and mostly milky but still a few clear in there. She’ll be ready for some water tomorrow. Day 75 - Checking the trichs today, she’s actually just about ready to harvest. I gave her a good watering of plain water today and the PPM is down to about 700 right now. I’ll give her a few days to dry out then I will flush her with foxfarm’s Sledgehammer and wait for her to tell me she’s ready.

Royal Queen Seeds website says that harvest time is 9-10 weeks after sprouting. This is week 11 so I am going ahead and harvesting even though I am not seeing a lot of amber trichomes. If you take a look at my pictures, you can see how big my cola is!! It is sooo packed and dense. The entire grow is 36.26 grams. I did flush this week before I cut it down. I am really pleased with this grow. I learned a lot and had a lot of difficult weather to overcome such as 100 degree heat and a hail storm. Miss Dosido danced her way to the end of the summer with a great cola and dense buds. Stay tuned for a dry weigh and smoke report. As always, you comments and likes are appreciated.
