Happy new year! I switch to water in a week and then rinse for 2 weeks. Everything looks good so far. The only thing that worry me a little is the high humidity. In the small tent I have almost always under 50% humidity in the evening, In the large tent it is rarely below 60%-65%. Although my filter is supposed to make 243m³/h, my tent construction is probably too much for it. With 90% outside humidity since weeks, it's really a battle against windmills. I hope nothing gets moldy.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. Start of week 9. They are fading now so they look rough. Give them time to completely fade and they will look better. Hurt my tips but you live and learn. Their smell is still pretty normal for now. It’s like a piney tropical fruity smell. The colas are starting to get fat and decent sized buds are showing. I’ll check back at the end of the week to show their progress.

they are all thriving, growing exactly as i want them to. sucking up everything i give them and they are on daily feeds. some of the autos are starting to flower, but im gonna stretch out veg for atleast another 4/5days for photoperiods. they are ranging in height between 45 and 75cm. west coast OG auto from fastbuds been the tallest at the mo. dinafem cookie strains showing preflowers now and everything going fine. no problems as of yet in the slightest. daily updates.

The last two weeks of been fantastic you can follow all diaries individually this is just an overall diary for all three strains. But it has been in school the week call me foliar spray with Neem oil water and it drops soap with a pretty standard mix they seem to be doing very well powdery mildew to seem to of went away and it doesn’t look like we’re too far from harvest now thank you for following

We are at the start of week 4, day 23 from seed. All I can say is HOLY CRAP these girls are growing and thriving. Installed a new automated watering system yesterday. Built from a pond pump, swing pipe, a few T’s, shut off valves to control flow, and end caps. Ziptied it to the fabric pots for the right coverage. I think this is the final thing I need to do. Also swapped out the 3, 200w lights for a single sf4000 (450w) for even coverage as the multiple lights left hot spots. I plan to utilize the vs2000 (200W) light closer to flower for max yield. On a side note, I have followed basementganjas videos on YouTube for the nutrient mix on his “How I grow 41” and defoliated using his videos “How I grow 33.” For now all 4 of my plants seem to be bigger at this stage than all of his videos I’ve seen from him.

I accidently snapped the main stem at the base during the first week of flower essentially super cropping her. Electrical tape and lint roller tape on the inside was used to hold the main stem up straight. she healed very well and then took off into a monster. I would have liked to take her further but she could not support her own weight and used that as a sign she was ready. At that point I had already been using electrical tape to hold the the steams together for the previous 2 weeks. Would be interesting to see how this strain would grow in my bigger 20 and 30 gal fabric pots as I struggled to keep up with organic dry amendments, especially calcium and magnesium, almost every watering calmag and lime dust was used for the last month of the grow. Currently harvesting 2 other think different strains and have been preparing 3 smaller pots for either some RQS Titans or a competition strain if I receive something in the post in the next 2/3 weeks. I have been growing for 5 years now from Chronic Nerve pain and I did not get past the flowering stage in my first grow, necessity is the mother of all drivers and if you want good bud, don't stop trying.

10/20 Day 86. Not really sure when to chop right now. I was hoping for a nice fade with some reds and purples but maybe it just won’t happen. Everything looks and smells great though. 10/24 Day 90. Finally getting some more leaf fade to go along with the trichs getting more cloudy. There’s still some clear trichomes in the mix so I’ll keep going a few more days, but at least I’m finally getting some signs she’s close.

The Penultimate Week – Hunting Terpenes 🍇👃 We’ve officially hit Week 10, the second to last week of this run, and we are pushing these ladies to the absolute limit! Even though some of these phenos didn't live up to expectations, I'm not cutting any corners. We are dragging them to the finish line to squeeze out every single drop of resin and maximize the terpene profile. The aroma is shifting nicely, getting deeper and more complex by the day. Just maintaining a steady cruise control right now, watching the trichomes closely, and waiting for that perfect window to chop. Almost there. Next stop: the final week! 🏁✂️

Growing right along. I've got the carbon filter working overtime because these ladies STINK. as soon as the reservoir is empty I'll be pulling them out of the tent for a super heavy final defoliation. Top colas seem to be combining for some HUGE nugs. They are drinking an insane amount of water every day. My 15 gallon reservoir lasts maybe 3 days. Can't wait to try some blueberry headband when they are done.
