Week 4 of flowering... Raising nutrients to maximum Changing Calcium Nitrate 15-0-0-33 to Calcium Chloride 0-0-0-27 EC: 1.3

The Mars Hydro FC-E1500, the Inkbird dehumidifier, and the auto-draining pot stands have all arrived this week. I will set up the pest control, nutrients, and the Exhale CO2 bag when I return from Italy. I will be leaving for 9 days next week, and I must admit, it makes me quite nervous to leave the house for a trip. However, I have tested the automation system, and it should take care of the light cycle and feeding/watering remotely. It is surprising to see that the "normal" leaves are already twice the size of the round cotyledons (or "seed leaves") after just 4 days. This indicates that my autoflowering plants have already entered the vegetative growth stage. It's a positive sign that the autoflowering genetics are taking effect and the plants are progressing rapidly, even at this early stage. The DLI (Daily Light Integral) of 18.6, which I have set, is ideal for supporting this quick transition. Providing sufficient light intensity and duration during the vegetative stage is crucial for autoflowering strains as it fuels their accelerated growth and development. I have been watching the size and appearance of the leaves to track the plants' progress. Maintaining the optimal environmental conditions I have been going for including an 18/6 photoperiod, a temperature range of 24-28°C, and a relative humidity (RH) of 55-70%, which should theoretcially enable my autoflowers to continue thriving in the vegetative stage. The fact that my plants have reached this milestone within the first 3 days is a promising indication of a fast and productive growth cycle.

The last week of vegetation is already ending. Starting from day 57, I switched to a 12/12 hour light regimen.

Getting close to switching her over to flower, she seems to be vegging well, fair few bud sites to watch develop, i also took some AG clones that are looking promising. The strain seems pretty hardy.

NOTE: Measuring light distance from top of net rather than top of plants for consistency. - Plant were developing nice broad leaves, but were refusing to grow any taller to push through the netting. So, I raised the light 3 inches and switched on both blue and red lights to allow them to stretch through, which did the trick! - Placed a lot of stress on the plants this week trimming and training them to grow throughout the ScrOG netting and removing lower branches that were not receiving as much light to allow the top leaves to get more nutrients. - NEGATIVE: switched off the grow lights to get natural color photos and forgot to turn them back on until several hours later! :-O My babies are too young to flower at this point. Hope they stay in vegetative state without any serious impact. Fingers crossed! - Been experimenting with clones from clippings. Last week didn't do to hot, but this time I got two nice long pieces and trimmed off the majority of leaves to give the roots a chance to develop without fighting over nutrients from the leaves. The trick this time was 1) sufficient size of clipping, 2) minimal leaves, 3) dipping the base in mycorrhizal fungi concentrate, and 3) placement near the humidifier to ensure leaves get sufficient moisture. Finally flipped the lights over to flower mode and took the humidifier out of the tent. So far so good we are gonna keep watching to make sure we didn't over do the nuts. Don't want any Nut burn that can be annoying. make sure you hit the follow button
