Feb 19th, - week 9 of flower sees a lot of subtle changes going on. The smell at the door is one, and it’s becoming a very dense and dark odour. Fruit-like up close. - Molasses doubled as root boosters get removed and Calimg has only 1 feed left, tonight. - Mar 1 is the tentative flush, first day of week 11 in flower. Those will be a long couple of weeks, feeding h20 & sugar only - noticing the stems of Fan leaves are turning Red/Crimson on L plant. A few are in the R as well. ** question asked about Red Stems ** 23rd - noticing a definite increase in the Trichomes of the Buds, under the UVB (pics tonight). There are simply more now and it’s kinda obvious when side by side. Lite spill from uvb is falling on the left plant as well, but not from 14” - feed tonite will include a bit of CaliMag once again moving forward and a lingering taste of Medi-One. - Trichomes were checked today. As happy as I was to see a few Amber ones. They were very wide-spread with most of the others still 50/50 clear and cloudy. - Based on todays Trichome check; hoping to flush ~ Mar 7 now. That will be the end of 11 complete weeks of Flower. FYI: Breeders expectation "11-12” weeks. Happy to see it linger a bit, diet, humidity and lighting changes have been incremental throughout. How quickly the next changes happen ie: clear to cloudy etc., I have no idea. Would love to see ~ 10% Amber, just enough to say it’s Very ripe. ( Not in any way thinking of couch-lock lol ) - literature & product labels on Humic Acid recommend usage throughout Veg & Flower... just Not the last 3 weeks. That rules this batch out... So the next batch(s) get introduced. - Macro shots tonight of the Buds under the UVB... cannot wait. ** found 1 bud on the R plant, that had quite a bit of Amber showing. Nowhere to be seen in the L plant, but it looks like a high concentration of Cloudy Trichomes on the L regardless. One more serious search tonight of the R plant and it may just be time for a rinse. Surprised to see so many Ambers, alone on this one bud. Pics uploaded ! re: 24th a.m. Feb24th, - when the lights came on this evening, I did another thorough check on both plants and there were more Amber trichomes found. Ready or not, both plants were Thoroughly flushed. - Flush aid used in the process. - 10 Litres of Water was mixed with Molasses / Rezin as the first liquids poured into the plants, after the Flush... - when it came right down to it, the sudden appearance and then rapid spreading of the Amber Trichomes made it an easy call, to flush both plants. Thoughts on the amount of white hairs left... they have a couple weeks to get their shit together... if I can get a couple weeks of flushing-in, that’s a definite bonus. 25th - humidity spike in the Tent. doors are cracked and a floor fan has been added for extra air flow. Exhaust fan increased... 26th, no liquid to remove from the plants btm Trays, but still showing a high humidity. R.H. coming down slowly, aimed the fans at the fabric pots... doors cracked etc. * why mess around, hooked up the dehumidifier... R.H. dropping, end of issue

So... It's that time again, I was planning on keeping her going for another 11 days but the trichomes are telling me differently, they are around 10% amber, with 70% cloudy and 20% clear. Personally, I like slightly speedy highs, and not such a fan of couch lock. So, she will be chopped in 4 days time (D121 - F74). I have cut back the nutrients, water is around 500ppm now, leaves on the top of the canopy are yellowing. The pistols have turned a pinky brown, and there is a real difference in smell these past few days, proper heavy dank smell. I will be swapping out the water for a final flush on D118 - F71. She will be in the dark for for the last 48 hours and temps will stay at 16ºc. She will be wet trimmed, a cola at a time, and then hung in my grow room in the dark at 55% RH and approx 14 - 16ºc. I will post one last flowering week once she is hung up in 6 days time or so, and then will post harvest details once she's dry enough to go into jars. Happy growing all!

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

Week 9 - Day 63 - 26/11/19 Im so grateful to be a part of this community and to be at this milestone so to speak :) had an amazing time growing this plant, thanks to everyone who had a look or contributed to my diary! Harvest was fun but that little 16cm tall plant stunk my whole house out of cheese when i started trimming her :) Added a few photos and videos of the harvesting, i got a little ball of hash off the scissors which i smoked in a bong and it was nice! very hashy! its taken about 2 hours to finish trimming but ive stored all the trim in the freezer along with the dwarf trim from my last diary :) im making cannabutter and edibles this week. really excited for that. So i hung my drying rack outside the tent beside the passive intake. temps are between 20-22c in the room so it should dry fine and im hoping the passive intake will drag the smell in and keep it sort of fresh in the room :) This diary has got me excited for my Quick One plant as its much taller and has colas like arms :D. Il update in 3-7 days when buds are dried and then il be updating a lot throughout curing :) Day 65 - 28/11/19 Still drying these buds :) they look much smaller now, i smoked a small bud and although its much drier than harvest its still spongy/sticky and stretchy when breaking apart so 2-3 more days drying i think. Smell is wonderful especially if you get it on your hands, its like tropical fruit cheese and the effects of thc are not as pronounced with this strain but i felt very relaxed, no muscle pain etc and no paranoia or anxiety. i havent had a clear relaxed headspace before bed in a very long time. Any 1:1 THC/CBD is a must grow, give it a try if you havent already, i couldnt have picked a better starter medical plant as i love a good old cheese strain :) And i made some cannabutter out of the 59g of sugar leaves i got from this diary and my first diary. il have to upload a few pictures of the process later and let you all know if the cannabutter worked in my brownies :) Day 66 - 29/11/19 Started curing and added a photo to show :) buds were at 59-60% when left in the jar alone for a few hours so i threw in my boveda 58% pack and started burping 5-6 times per day :) i could have cured for a week before adding the boveda pack but i had barely any bud in the huge jar so i thought it would be wise to add the boveda to prevent mold and to keep it curing perfectly! Day 67 - 30/11/19 Posted a picture of a handful of buds :) i smoked a few in a bong and had a joint and it left me nice and medicated! no anxiety no paranoia nicely locked to the couch and sleepy. perfect nightime smoke as it wont trip you out or mess with your head, just a nice happy little mellow buzz! Flavour hasnt really came through yet, not sure what to expect as im a newbie but its slightly like cheese/flowery/herbs. Curing is definitely helping every day! the smell is getting better, buds are getting really smooth and they look amazing also! really excited for the next few weeks curing :) Final Update - Day 69 - 02/12/19 Finally here at the end of this diary and i have to say i loved growing this plant. it was a dark green colour throughout growing and took whatever i threw at it. Buds are nice and dry and curing well. i saved the best buds until last and added a couple of photos of them and a video also! they are covered in trichomes and feel great. Not much of a smell from the buds and it tastes like a sweet floral cheese mixture. Im pretty couchlocked from a bong of this strain so im gonna end this diary here and go relax but many thanks for following along folks and take a look at my other diaries if you get a chance :) Peace!

The weather conditions: reaching the 70 degree mark every day but still had some cold nights in the 40s. Wind has not ceased, but no precipitation. One of the biggest plants started to show some pollen sacks that were removed. Plants are examined daily and look to be thriving. One of them looks a bit sick but it is still growing. Bioprotectant was added to crops.

Pretty simple first week! Seed took 3 nights for the taproot to pop and it was planted in its final pot on day 4. On day 6, it finally popped through the soil and on day 7 the little sprout is starting to grow up. There is a small piece of seed casing left attached. Going to leave it for a day or two. The Bubble OG plants are looking awesome! My tallest one is stacking up with super dense buds. It's crazy to think that the other one is almost ready to chop – the colors are so vibrant. And then there's that short and squat one with the purple leaves. It's definitely the oddball of the bunch, but I kind of like it. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Harvested these girls at the 9 week Mark I could have pushed another week or so but there were amber trichomes and the temp were getting crazy in the wardrobe this time of year but everything had turned out sweet! The girls look and smell amazing frost everywhere. Forbidden runtz is still growing see how she goes. Fastbuds are reliable ❄️💣

We made some adjustments to the LST. We try to stop Thrips from spreading, using Neem oil with water spray. Continue with the fertilizer as the last week.
