SUNDAY 6/23: I had to suspend my indoor operation for a couple months and within a week I'm so bored that I don't know what to do with myself....so... I'm gonna grow 5 total plants in a secluded, mostly shady area on a nearby property and see what results. 1 * CC4 (Candy Cane #5 x C4 #3 - the purple pheno) 1 * Early Candy (Candy Cane #1 x Early Miss #2) 1 * Candesia (Candy Cane #5 x Auto Amnesia #2) ...plus a couple others which will be in other diaries. I'm using the complete Biotabs line of products for this stealth grow..hopefully a few less sneaky midnight trips required to keep them happy. I floated the beans today, They are under a dome, on a heat mat now. Once sprouted, I'll plant the seedlings in rockwool cubes with Great White and Mycrotrex. They will be planted in 3 gallon pots when ready. I'll probably let them get to about the 3rd internode before I move them outdoors. TUESDAY: I floated a second CC x EM seed today. The first one sunk and cracked open but still hasn't sprouted. Both the CC4 and Candesia beans sunk and also cracked open. I should be able to dip their tap roots into the Great White tomorrow and plant them in cubes. For stealth purposes, simplicity in transfer to the grow site, and to give the seedlings an advantage, I've decided to transfer the rockwool-cubed seedlings from the dome to some 6" pots (1/2 gallon) that I've prepared with startrex and silicium flash. I'll grow the seedlings under my 2000w blurple light for a couple of weeks before taking them outside. I should be able to carry all of them in a big box out to the site without injuring them. This will give me time to start sneaking the big pots out to the site. I'll pre-mix the startrex and silicium flash on-site and add the mycrotrex when I transplant them to the 3 gallon pots and give them a good douching with bactrex and orgatrex to get them started well. My soil has been recharging for several months with tons of good stuff added (earthworm castings, bat guano, azomite, biochar, bokashi, nectar for the godz one-shot and myco), plus I'll be growing them with the biotabs line of products, so they will have a good chance. I figure that I'll probably fix up their first batch of PK booster compost tea right away and douche them with it in their first week outdoors. Every little thing I can do to help them strengthen for the oncoming heat they'll experience...probably some extra kelp too... THURSDAY: They are all planted in cubes now. FRIDAY: Still waiting on them to emerge. SATURDAY: Still nothing...so...I floated the following: 10 x Candy Cane x Amnesia Auto (Seedsman) (F1) seeds 1 x Candy Cane x Early Miss (F1) seed 1 x Candy Cane x White Widow(CKS) (F1) seed 1 x Candy Cane (S1) seed If my luck changes and a bunch of them sprout, not sure what I'll do. Knowing myself, I probably won't have the heart to kill them, but I can only spare about another cubic foot of soil, so the extra plants may end up in 2 gallon nursery pots (1.67 gallons) with Osmocote Plus for food...and maybe even a few of them in 6" pots (1/2 gallon) if I get really lucky and they all take off... I also floated a Fastbuds C4 and a mystery breeder Sour Diesel bean, but they probably won't be included in this diary if they do grow...or maybe I'll change the name of the diary.. TUESDAY: Maybe the "distilled" water I used before had chlorine in it, so I bought another gallon of distilled water and even left the lid off for a night so as to ensure any chlorine dissipated. I planted half of them in rockwool cubes and half in rapid rooters. WEDNESDAY: I see several sprouts breaking through.. I decided to go ahead and float 2 x Candy Cane x White Widow Auto (Seedsman) seeds produced in February as backups. I also floated another 2 x Candy Cane x C4 (purple pheno) beans. Getting over being locked out due to timer and dripper issues ramping the EC up to 3.8 ! , the size will suffer a bit but hopefully the quality will still be there 🤞

Day 53 and the second candy kush is done

Things are going good.... POOL is FULL..... I have transplanted everything in the greenhouse. Some in soil.... I know soil??? Wtf have I lost my mind.... Banner 1,2, and 3 have not shown sex... so we will wait... Slurricane is pretty... but small... her clone's 2 are in soil.. 1 is in perlite, and it is in a circle. I did it for fun because she is a B***H... Haha no strings attached..... We wait on Fire OG, and Foul Mouth both are female... we are waiting for some flowers to arrive. I'm starting to flush Shiskaberry and Blue Gelato 41. Today ... I'm smoking the Gorilla Zkittles.... I am really pleased with taste and high. In the greenhouse flowering right now is 6 strains.... mostly clones... but 8 separate pheno's... fuck I'm even confused... hahaha..everything is labled.... most have dates on them... I will have to try to go back on foul mouth and fire OG to find out when I started flowering them..... shit.... I will know when there done... hahahahahaha I have so much in veg... 25 plants.. 14 strains... so like I said... "The Pool is Full"...... Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 88 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with defined above nutrients, mixed in order and pH'd to 6.3. Week 7 of flower and she's looking absolutely fantastic! She looks to have reached maturity, with about 50% of her trichomes turning milky and pistils turning amber! She smells just like Skittles, that fruity candy smell and her colours look just like the rainbow too, with shades of lime green, red ambers and yellowing in places! Another couple of weeks and she'll be ready for harvest 🙏🏻

Waiting on time... She's ready for a transplant now and I'm waiting on my nutes to be delivered so I can amend the Coco. Great looking roots on her though and she's getting spread out early on to promote some side branching. She'll be much happier in the 3.9 gal AutoPot with the Beanstalk slow release amended media. I think I'm going to scrog her out as well to maximize the bud sites. Should start getting exciting here soon enough... If the postal service can get me my materials.

Day 65 Day 30 Flower Wow, this is a beast of an auto, she is doubling up these bud sites and keeping them nodes tight af 😋 Side branches where spewing off everywhere... So lollipopping done today, a few side branches lower down that were weaker and just life sucking got struck. I'm waiting to see the bounce back and upload the pictures as I know she will definitely show me some resilience 😍💚 I like this strain, I love this freebie. Day 67 Day 32 Flower - drinking Alot now, feeding every other water, 5L a go, 10%run off. I do this to prevent salt build up. It shows in comparison to when I didn't the amount of salts left in the bottom corners of the fabric pots. Fattening up nicely, bounced right back after I gave her a light hair cut and pulled some side arms and lollipopping. She is a strong bean 💪💚 Day 68 Day 33 Flower - Final pluck of the lollipopping and the defoliating. She really has swollen nicely since the first time. I have done pre photos and afters. Feed today, heavy, top up soil mix in pot incase up root. 😎💚

6/16 MONDAY 12am Ricky looks great!! Took some bottom stragglers and made clones. Ill cut the flowers off and smoke them once they root👍 6/19 1230pm Thursday?? where am I? A very small Banana Purple Punch Auto by Fast Buds is in the tent with them and because she is small and retains water the effect of that increases humidity and cools the space. I heard Sebastian from Fast Buds say a grower did that, and it is great idea!!! I have a gorilla cookies auto from them in there too and it is growing just fine at 12/12. Ricky is getting HUGE she seems stressed today, probably salt build up from lack of runoff. 6/20 3am she is really bulking up now. Just using Con bloom 10ml each 5.8ish pH

Phenotipos muy similares pero con problemas de Hermafroditismo, tuvimos que cortar los bajos para que no se polenize lo demas.. Producto final increíble! Terpenos a auténtico Gelato dulce y cremoso con toques Gassy que la hace casi perfecta en mi paladar! Planta pequeña con pocas ramas y cosecha poca-media de calidad top!

Woche 14

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 86 12/05/2021- Week 5 of flower almost done hopefully by the end of the month. Went out on a trip and GoPro never turn on for the last two days bummer but will upload time lapse videos daily. Today the lady got nutrients as well. Day 89 12/08/2021- Today the lady got water, really hoping to see buds starting to fatten up. Day 91 12/10/2021- So today the lady got a special treat, freshly collected rain water. She is just doing her thing and making those buds. I have also finally put the spider farmer SF-2000 at 100%. Harvest day on day 66. She's a big gyal. I gave her Flawless Finish for 5 days. Jealousy was harvested a week before, because she stopped drinking and was "done". I already tested one J and it was pretty strong. Not much more to say, enjoy the pictures and videos. I'm hyped for the next run, but i will start somewhere in July. I will return with the harvest reports in two weeks. Cya 🌌🍁

Overall a great plant to grow. Some hardships through the beginning with the not so great nutes. Definitely worth a grow. The only thing is the length that this plant took was just absolutely crazy! For an autoflower I was expecting harvest 2-3 weeks ago. From seed to harvest it took 110 days.
