Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. This week the final form of the first think big is obby, just a very dwarf cola & very low in density, upcoming weeks she's going to get fat. The one with triangle form is expanding vertical at last, she almost tripled it's weight in the last 14 days. She's still the smallest of the healthy babies. -----SUMARIO SEMANAL----- Perdonad el salto de semana la última semana, estas fotos son del verano pasado y no tome fotos durante esos días, probablemente debido a tener mucho trabajo. L.a forma final de la primera Think Big, ya se hace obbia esta semana, va a acabar tal cual se ve ahora pero con un cogollo del tamaño de un puño de adulto y muy poco densa. La que tiene forma triangular por fin se expande verticalmente, en los últimos 14 días ha triplicado su altura. De todas maneras sigue siendo la planta más pequeña de todas las que parecen sanas.

Really happy with how things are looking. 2 of the 3 plants have gotten some benders added so I can hopefully score a few more bud sites in the next few weeks. Keeping feedings low and steady- should have probably increased them a bit by now, but I’ve got some burnt tips and I really don’t want to throw things off. 🌱 👊🏻

This was the last week of the 18/6 cycle. The Pineapples have reached the scrog screen which I installed at the beginning of the week. 4 Pineapple Chunks growing 35 days(+ 4 days to germinate) seemed to be enough for this space. They've grown into beautifull indica's with large fanleaves and sturdy branches yet easy to scrog. Once this week I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients (ec 1.58 – ph 6.1). The rest of the week was ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.1) when they needed it. I sprayed them once with a CannaCure solution (15 ml CannaCure + 100 ml tapwater, ph 6) The week started with the cobs at the same wattage and height as last week (168 watt and 47 cm – 18.5 inch) DLI 34.4 – PPFD 531 On day 32 it got a bit brighter with 188 watt and a distance of 43 cm (17 inch) from the plants. DLI 40 – PPFD 617 and stayed like this for the rest of the week. The heating mat is turned of because temperatures are high enough. The humidifier has also left the room because humidity levels must be lowered in the flowering cycle. But that will be more important within a few weeks. Co2 order never came in but better late then never I grabbed a bottle of tnb from my local grow shop and let it goto work. This week went great The purple buds are very rewarding 😁 Excited to see what next the week has for my babies

The buds are spread everywhere and they are nice and frosty in next 2 weeks she will get fat.

flowering day 35 (last day of flowering week #5) since 12/12 switch: ... yesterday they got 100% feeding of advanced nutrients plan in 15L again with overdrive [new] (AN Sensi Bloom A+B each 60ml, AN Overdrive 30ml [new] + Canna Cannazyme 37ml + AN B52 30ml) water. Everything works like a charm now.. but i am a little bit unsure if there ist still a light leak.. am not 100% sure but i saw first signs of hermie on one plant.. i will check this out in the next days 😎

Broke couple buds sights off that amber was 20% during microscope Trichomes observation temps is high tonight 75% Fahrenheit lights off , ideal I like it around 68 light off 70-75 light on 18-6 light schedule pro mix hp with auto flower concrete with clay pebbles for roots to breathe and thrive thought out cycle with air flow in the medium .added silica to rebuild cell walls after taking couple cuts

Green Crack is wack!! Both ladies got the chop and are drying now. Both packed on considerable size during their last week, hopefully it translates to higher dry weight. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke report.

This plant vegged like a champion. 6 weeks and she was ready to go. I put her in a 5 gallon so she exploded when she went to flower and gave a great harvest.

Día 22 de vegetación, se realiza poda FIMing a las 4 plantas, que ya tienen 6 nudos, se ven fuertes y de un color verde muy sano, se riega un día con 250 ml. y al otro con 100 ml. se va variando entre agua con calmag, microvida o fertilizantes para mantener baja la EC. No estoy corrigiendo el PH como parte del experimento. Día 25 de vegetación, las plantas se han recuperado bien de la poda FIMing, se riegan a diario y cada riego con fertilizantes diferentes o solo calmag, para mantener una EC bajo los 800. Se siguen doblando las ramas y podando los brotes inferiores.

4 de 4 semillas germinaron empiezan a salir los cotiledones y las primeras hojas

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.
