These clones are growing really fast. I have them in a tent enriched with CO2. I’ve been transitioning them to flower slowly (30 min shorter each day till I hit 12/12) I’ll be fully into the stretch next week as I hit 12/12 lighting schedule tomorrow. I built my soil with super soil concentrate so I’m only supplementing silica with silicic acid and a foliage misting with kelp extract. Other than that they get plain well water from me. I’m heading out of town for 5 days starting tomorrow so I’m excited to see the growth they put on in my absence.

This is the first greenhouse grow I’ve done. I’m using a shelter logic 12’x20’ translucent portable garage, because we store a car in it for the winter. I’m growing 5 Ethos genetics plants, 1 DNA genetics plant, 2 clones from my winter grow, and 3 unknown autoflowers.

Everything is looking good so far. The grandaddy purple is doing the most stretching. Can't wait to see the end result. Thanks for stopping by.

The girls have grown so much and they already smell pretty good. I'm trying to decide if I should SCROG. I have a trellis net but it's just a net, not the boxy thing that I've seen others with. What do yall think, should I SCROG? GDP2 is in her 5th week. If she were the same age as GDP1 and BK, I'd flip them next week but I'll try waiting at least another couple of weeks to give her some time to grow a little more although she's catching up with the other 2 height. I'll be posting more throughout the week. 7/4/22: Defoliation... I know it's needed but they're my babies.... lololol 7/7/22: Look at my girls... they don't look like they've recently been defoliated. You can tell which ones are the Granddaddy Purples... they have a purple tint to them. The Bubba Kush is super green... 😍😘😍

Been battling caterpillars & powdery mildew , gave them both a spray over night with some Lost Coast Therapy for the mildew & I will be spraying in another day or two with Monterey BT for the caterpillars, a lot of the mildew disappeared, about two more applications it should be totally gone. This will literally be my last major outside grow

7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far.

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 Β°C (65 - 72 Β°F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth. Peace out.

Hey everyone! This week has been great but had a little emergency that required some additional tie downs on multiple main cola's. I woke up in the morning to the ties completely untied on the stakes and the cola's bending for dear life. The knuckles on these ladies are very strong and was incredibly lucky here in my opinion.πŸ™Œ πŸ˜‡ I will say, ScrOG netting = resistance training for your plants = little bit of healthy stress = stronger inflorescence in the end 😈. I do need to keep an eye on these chunky colas as I've never had this issue before with it being so top heavy - they are getting really fat by the day and the tent smells wonderful. I'm thinking the plant on the left will finish a bit faster than the one on the right - but will be a good science experiment to have one really head high - the other being really body high as I plan to chop both down same time. I haven't checked the trichromes of each (will start tomorrow), but by the looks of things...I may be harvesting these ladies on New Years Eve....hip hip, hooray! πŸ˜œπŸ˜ŒπŸ‘Œ. Thanks for stopping by everyone!

Hey Cannafam, Well weve reached the end for this gorgeous gal, i did want to leave her another week but ive been informed that my landlord wants to inspect the property in 2 weeks, so shes come down and needs to be dried jarred and the tent put away! In the final week i managed to flush her and the light was dailed down to 56%(61 watts). Again humidity was high at 70% with 23c temp, VPD of 0.84 and DLI at 35. Although i was not able to control the environment completley in her final weeks, this gal has performed like a champ, she has built solidly throughout with a maximum of 80 watts from my little rig so a really energy efficient grow 😊 Trimming was very difficult, as she was so low down ive wet trimmed in the pot some and then had to dig to cut her main stem. She was just one massive brick of bud when i took her down 😁 and i must say i definitely fell in love with this chunky woman. Further trimming will be done when shes dried out more and il update with the final dry weight and smoke report later. I hope you've enjoyed this diary, stay safe and remember the Sun always shines in Space πŸ˜ŠβœŒοΈπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š
