As of day 63, the Blue Dream'Matic is bulking up well and getting closer to what may be a really great harvest. The smell off the plant has gotten unreal, both powerfully sweet and distinctly of blueberry. The buds are completely frosted with trichomes, and some of the pistils are turning orange, so the plant is getting closer to harvest by the day. I am sticking with this current nutrient profile until the final few days of ripening when I will run extra enzymes and perform a short flush. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to week 7 growmies! She’s doing great in her second week of flowering! She is still stretching and got a bigger defoliation at the end of week 6. For the start she’s getting only ph regulated water from top and some nutrients from bottom. There a little signs on the leaf tip why I skip nutrients for one watering cycle. On mid of week 7 she’s still stretching and first orange pistils shown up. On weekend she’s getting another defloration and another round of nutrients.

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

Harvested on week 12 exactly. Was a little worried about bud rot during the early drying phase but it seems it just came out a little less bright green than I am accustomed to as there is no sign of rot after drying has completed and curing started. Don’t have a working scale anymore but my eye scale is legendary and I’d say probably got between a half oz and 3/4 of an oz, but would be shocked if it were over 1 oz. My best guess would be around 18g. Tried a small bit tonight right after I transferred to a jar for curing, nice hashy flavor with some pepper undertones. Smells very fruity in the jar, but definitely can smell the flavor without consuming too. The buzz is pretty nice. Balanced and relaxing but not too sleepy, definitely still functional. Seems it’d be best for lazy afternoons, winding down after a long day, or even laid back social events. Overall very happy with my first grow experience and excited to use what I learned next season. What’s up Growmies! It’s been cloudy the whole week till today so there’s almost no evolution, i did some more lst to the sweet skunk and I noticed today that she is starting to flower. The gorilla instead is still small and almost no evolution shown, i watered them once only this week.I’ll keep you updated next Sunday till then have some Goodsmokes guys!

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! These Hubbabubbasmellascope are a strange run! 3 plants look one way, the other 3 look totally different. But stacked with bud sites nevertheless. Next week I will add photos of them side by side. This strain is coming along nicely, with a strong smell of double bubble!

Tok off large fan leaves on day 24. Seeing preflower starting. Decided to try out a natural shape instead of doing LST. I hope this doesn't backfire... The blackberry gum on the right is getting big. I like how autopotamus has natural shape... But he also has much more light haha

I brougt them outside when the weather Was good enough. Sie stams got mutch more resistent. Will transplant them to soll in a few days. Night temp. is not lower than 7 degree Celsius. Got a little smell when you put your nose very close to the top leaves, but nothing to intensive.
