For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work our magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top has been done on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg.
There are many variables and few certainties in the world of cannabis but once these certainties are established they remain engraved in stone. One of these is called Sticky Beast autoflowering, an award winning strain that everyone, absolutely everyone, speaks highly of. Now we are starting to understand why. The girl is literally a beast, she grows tall and strong and fast and flowers fast too. Not the latest generation but you will have great difficulty finding a better latest generation autoflowering than this one.
--- Technique chosen (depending on the characteristics of the plant) - The plants are not doing very well when it is like this I decide to search for the miracle; on one I did a topping and cleaned a lot and left it in veg, the other one went just a little cleaned straight into flowering.
--- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Create your card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. We have arrived at the time to give a good hit of iron in the first weeks of flowering, already of vita race not sprayed but mixed with fertilizers. We have switched to fertilizers for flowering. We are giving vita race for a strong hit of iron at the maximum.

We couldn't find time to pump these buds with nutes. I'm disappointed that right at the end we couldn't tend to these like they needed. The buds are small but they are super frosty and loud. They smell strong like lemony tang. We will get a few more pics this week before harvest.

Filter sock clogged up again, I just took the whole filter off, I'm not worried about the smell as it's outside in my shed anyway. Still warm and dry out this week, humidifier barely lasts 24 hours and that's just to keep the RH above 40. Trichs developing nicely, few more weeks to go for sure.

The plant of course is much more smaller with the restricted root zone causing a bonsai effect. However, she performed really well under the circumstances with a relatively large yield all things considered. I usually smoke high CBD but was very impressed with this high. Let's see how it goes after spending more time under the influence.
Review...
Growing in the solo cup sized container proved to be much more challenging than a regular grow. The plant soon became stressed dealing with the tiny root zone making everything hyper sensitive. The first issue was showing as tip burn even though the ppm was kept in the 650-850 range. Then the leaves showed a general yellowing overall specially showing at the bottom fan leaves. At this point I was changing the nutrient solution every 2-3 days trying different nutrient brands and concentrations seemingly without much success. It was a nerve wracking period which ultimately lead me back to General Hydroponics with amendments. I did learn that the plant can weather the storm even with less than perfect vegetative leaves while she focuses all her energies into calyx production. It’s was upsetting to see less than stellar health but eventually all the leaves drop and the flowers power on seemingly without issue.
The cascading diamond structure developed as a result of a couple broken branches that occurred during the training process in an effort broaden the plant profile with wider lateral spacing. Although initially upset when the fractured branches that withered after being bandaged up and . After removal of said branches it was exciting to see the new possibilities. The cascade formation called for additional side lighting to maintain uniform bud size all the way down the front lower end of the plant. I was looking to create a stadium like effect.
The experience of operating the visual hydroponic unit called for a number of practical adjustments along the way. Although initially, very excited with the system concept as an integrated design with nutrient solution supply and gravity drain through the pump, with the air supply inside the pipe with the air bubbler acting as the drain/root filter... in hindsight, obviously, it would not work as the root mass became denser and denser. The first issue, as the path of least resistance, the air was forced back down the nutrient supply pipe. This prevented the pump from priming itself and subsequently no nutrient solution delivery was even possible. As a result, the original air stone was left in place to prevent the roots from entering the nutrient tank and a new bubbler stone simply added to the tank itself.
Although the original idea was for the air to be continuously pumping directly through the roots, the flood and drain would actually be just as good when drawing the fresh air in and out with each pump/drain of nutrient solution. The ON cycle was initially set to 10 seconds which eventually became 30 seconds as the roots mass grew denser. This proved to be too unreliable as the fill level was no longer consistent which required constant monitoring to be sure that there was no flooding over and above the container lid. It which case, a simple feeder tube to the top of the root zone was the best option. The ON cycle was set to 5 seconds with a 15 minute OFF interval. Overall the biggest concern was the timer itself, which had several bad reviews for malfunctions with growers losing their plants. However, I have no choice as this was one of the few timers that was capable of cycling down to the second but it all workout fine in that regard… no problem.
Was it a perfect grow?... no, definitely not. However, as a relative beginner, it was definitely a great learning experience. Mostly, I need to work on the nutrient blend and concentration. For more control, a backup tank with float valve delivery to maintain the water level for this particular system would be a good idea as well.

11 weeks completed! The plants seem healthy and doing their thing. I will be harvesting this week. There is definitely some amber in the trichomes. I gave them a tiny feed mid week since they had seemed to be a little stalled out (first feed in 1.5 weeks). I watered them last night.
I'll check the trichomes when I but them to bed in 2 days and see if that is when I'll leave them in the dark for 48 hours and then harvest.
If they are still not ready then... I'll water again when I wake them up and then I'll check them 2-3 days after that!
Either way, I cannot see this not happening in the next 4-5 days!!
Looking forward to harvest!!
Plans are already underway for my next grow. Probably going with Seedsman's Strawberry Auto Cheesecake.

She was topped for the last time, 16 apical summits were born 😎. She has been under x2 MarsHydro PAR38 LED bulbs for a week, but I think she didn't like those. She developed some burnt spots, my guess is that IKEA bulbs are safer than MarsHydro ones. Plus, I'm getting sick of those pink-ish lights. I sold my x2 COBs to buy x3 LM301B PCB boards (QB-style, in my opinion one of the best ways to go nowadays). Otherwise she looks great, I'm having hard times trying to keep everything symmetrical but this will be easier as soon as I plug my new quantumboards in the tent. Stay tuned folks 👋

Every week I watch my girls grow into beautiful budding trees only difference is now she in flowering I take her outside to absorb some of the beautiful sunshine and she's loving every bit of it. I let her stay outside for 8 hours in nature then back inside for another 8 hours of led full spectrum and turn out my lights for another 8 hr she's an Auto so she loving every minute of this ...... this is the results ⬆️

These big bad buds keep swelling day by day. Just went under 12 hours today. One branch broke partly off, fixed and wired it up.. hoping not to get strong winds.. still thinking about some kind of transparent rain cover.. any ideas? If i had had more space and time, the plants could have been trained so much better! I also feel like i made a pretty good environment, with the good soil and perlite, and the kelp meal and basalt flour - and additional nutrients. I read that organic nutes give better taste and terpenes, and chemical give higher potency. So I’m hoping for the best of both worlds with these buds..

The little ones are developing well, unfortunately there are a few minor nutrient problems in the direction of Calmag with the Morello Cherries and also slight signs of this with the TerpyZ Punch. I counteracted this with a foliar spray. The pH value of the hydrosystem has unfortunately dropped a little to 5.5, which I have equalised with ph up from Plagron. The plants are currently getting light between 800-900 ppfd and as soon as the stretch starts, l'll increase this to 1000 ppfd. Both ladies are slowly starting to smell.

Buds are starting to thicken up and get nice healthy looking trichomes. Plant #2 was under a light that did not have the full spectrum setting on. I didn't realize that and now see that it's development is lagging plant #1. We'll see how this affects harvest, but I'm hoping that the timing will still work out.

Here we are week 6/7 in this post. Slowly fattening up. I don't think they will swell much more. Sugar leaves are showing signs of amber but actual bud there's still many clear Tris.
Breeder says 8 weeks. My grows tend to go over breeder specs of strain lol. I'd like to push it as far as I can ALOT of the plants bid sites are very small was expecting them to get alot bigger.

Hey folks. Into week 16 (week 7 into flower) and the ladies are doing great! Again putting on some mass! Temps have been optimal hover around 12-25degs, night to day respectively.
They are starting to stink up nice, lots of pine, kushy undertones and a hint of pepper! Sounds and smells insane. Its not loud yet but the aromas hanging out on the deck are amazing with a gentle breeze!
They are packing on some serious mass and producing an amazing amount of resin. Hope you guys enjoy the vids and pics.

▶️ Monday - 03.08.21- Checked in on these ladies this morning, fed each plant with 40 ounces w/ nutrients, they were looking a little wilted, I also lowered the plants down (removed milk crates from under the drain tray) about 40 inches now from the lights, plenty of room to develop their legs. Will post some pictures later this evening. UPDATE - these ladies are already bouncing back! They are thriving!
▶️ Tuesday - 03.09.21- So after Sunday's session with HST/Super Croping these girls are bouncing back and looking great! They are creating amazing bushes and will be choosing one for mother plants, and transplanting the other 4 outside.
▶️ Wednesday - 03.10.21-these ladies are looking so nice but different, I am learning words likening the thicker ones versa the single Sativa looking 1! All good tonight will feed in the AM.

Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570.
Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805.
5/1 That was a fun feeding week. I got heavy handed with the TPS1 which put the ppm to 1600= so I had to dilute with more water which changed the ph. So I carefully added the smallest amount oh PHdown..then the PH was 5.08 so then added ph up. Oops too high, let’s try again. Ok finally within range with 6.02. Am I the only one??
Hopefully next week I have better control on the nutes.
With my AC controller in charge of the humidifier, I must add 3-4 gallons of water a day. (Getting my lifting exercises in regularly).
Girls are fed 2 liters of water every other day.
Nutrients: TPS1 7ml per gal
Recharge 5 ml/gal
Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal
Took pics /51 and 5/3 which show the vigorous leaf growth after only 2 days following defoliation and training. Divine Seeds recommends keeping its Fractal profile wider and flatter. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Today 5/4, she is only 9inches tall but has a beautiful, mounded canopy showing multiple bud sites.
With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location.
Until the plants are big enough to go outside, I will be using my AC Infinity tent and equipment. Once outside, I will be watering with well water and recharge and any additional fertilizers or amendments will be determined at that time.

Fractal is an especially psychedelic strain that Divine Seeds developed for esoteric and mystical experiences, meditation and creativity.
