How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Week 9 is allmost done we are at day 5 , wanted to share video and in 2 days i will add pictures , grow is allmost finished around 7-10 days more maybe faster depends on trycoms . Week 9 done , we have one more Final Week , i feeded them yesterdy with Bloom TopMax and Bioheaven around 450ppm and next watering it is RO + Cannazym 2ml /L

This lady is getting massive. Her buds are swelling to the max. I set her on a self watering base from ac infinity about 3 days ago and I can already tell its adding to the swell. Check back next week to see just how fast these buds grow & remember its 4:20 somewhere!

Their was a complication with the plant on the right when my 14” desk fan landed on it and snapped it in half but she’s stand back up and produced bigger buds than the lady on the left, it’s asif the break supercropped the entire plant from the base .

Missed a week because spider mites entered the party but we were quicker to act and shut the show down, lucky timing to say the least... dried the flower out in a cardboard box linked upto the bay6 grow tent. Took 7 days to dry properly since I left it in the tent beforehand for 6 days with no water... had a whopping weigh in at 180 grams!! Was shocked to say the least, as it was my first grow personally (but I have watched and cut with other people's grows).. all in jars burping process now. The banana smell is massively overpowering. I can't wait until its fully cured as it's only going get more potent..

Allot of the same this week, fed allot as the plant seemed very thirsty. Growth increase, brown pistols, and tric start of cloudy. The smell is lovely, very fruity and extremely strong. As a long time smoker knowing the smell I wonder what a untrained nose would smell and what they think it would be. Harvest day 73, if I can give her longer I will, as you can see in pics I did not really defoliate at all perhaps 10% as per advice and I kept her low, tied her down to early I believe, will allow for more stretch next time. Live and learn. I just have purchased some advanced nutrients flawless finish so hoping for some smoke easy on the old lungs. Salutations

Vamos, familia, séptima semana, que ganas ya de que terminen de madurar. No veáis cómo están qué grandes y gordas que contento que estoy es que no fallan las Kritical de GrowBarato. Tengo 6 ejemplares 2 están algo más maduros pero aun así cre que los aguantare igual que los otros 4. Ya les hice el lavado de raíces y desde ya están solo Agua. Ya vamos viendo cómo acaban. First pistils started showing on the canopy so the flowering period timer started this week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked one square across every 3-4 days or tied down. Pulled down most lateral branches applying LST where they weren't long enough to nicely go under the next square across of the net. The net is filling up nicely, with more pruning below the canopy of growth tips. Only pruning a few fan leaves which are stacking - the back and sides are piled up with huge fan leaves. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.35 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC is now approaching my target since I've increased the inflow EC. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. The buds are pretty airy and foxtaily, but very resinous, she smells good, but i think the buds are a bit overdried. End results: Trim: 18.12 Gram. Popcorn buds: 37,11 Gram. Normal Buds: 70,98 Gram.
