At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing good. She is starting to go into a bulking phase. I defoliated her today to thin her out some more. I have been a little heavy on nitrogen in my feed. I am gonna cut back on it greatly as she bulks. Too much causes cola development issues. Beside that everything has been going well. First week of flowering was interesting, started scrOG training looks like I’m exposing the plant to grow more cola’s crossing my fingers on this. The aroma of the plant is starting to get stronger.

10/12: Fed today. Increased Signal and sugars/carbohydrates...added humic acid. 10/16: Fed today. They both stacked up really well and will have some very nice colas.👌

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

I counted the days again and came to the conclusion that I have 70 days full and harvested tonight. Enough brown and amber trichomes are also present. I'm excited to see how they taste and pop. They definitely look and smell very good. What's really funny: From the 2-3 week onwards, I turned both TS1000s up to 100% for 18 hours a day. I just wanted to find out my cap. I used around 100kW/h and €40 less in electricity costs. Compared to my last grow with Feminized and 10 weeks of flowering + Veggy. I wouldn't have expected that. Well... let it dry in peace first. Finally harvested this girl at days 68. She is heavy. After cutting the ties, this girl just fell over from the weight! Very minimal larf! Even the lower bud sites are nice! Can't wait to see what she weighs once dry! First DWC grow was an overall success!

Plants were watered on day 4 of week 9, as follows: Lucy: 1 gallon water, pH: 6.27, Height: 22 in. Herbert: 1.25 gallons water, pH: 5.77, Height: 24.5 in. ***Both fed nutrients - 5 ml/.5 gal BioVega (3% N, 1% Phosphate, 5% Soluble Potash), 7 ml/.5 gal BioBoost (1% Phosphate), and 1 ml/.5 gal BioRhizotonic (0.6% Soluble Potash) Plants were watered on day 5 of week 9, as follows: Thin Mint Sr: 1 gallon water, pH: 6.76, Height: 20 in. Thin Mint Jr: 1 gallon water, pH: 6.50, Height: 19.5 in Notes: Thin Mint Jr has nutrient burn and so was NOT fed nutrients today. Thin Mint Sr was fed nutrients at 50% strength 2.5 ml/.5 gal BioVega (3% N, 1% Phosphate, 5% Soluble Potash), 4 ml/.5 gal BioBoost (1% Phosphate), and 0.5 ml/.5 gal BioRhizotonic (0.6% Soluble Potash) (both plants still in nutrient distress - in process of recovery but have some new growth that is greener so improvement is being observed; slowly but surely!) ***Plants ideally would have been transitioned to the flowering phase this week, but due to nutrient deficiencies and nutrient burn on Thin Mint Jr., we are holding off on this transition for 1 week to give the plants a chance to recover from stress.

26 July 2025 Find Blueberry muffin had couple of bottom branches die, seems all brunch is like rotten, just pull the branch and come off effortlessly. some root issue, believe ants have nest right under the plant. Will put some product to kill all nest. Hope that's save the plant, it's biggest plant in garden. Rest of plant seems doing ok, just watering them once a week, need to come and water them at least twice a week now. Getting dry quickly. Luckily we have Rainey days recently 😃 Feed them with compost tea and alga grow..

Nov 9, 2019 Orange Juice (1) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (30% Indica/70% Sativa) (63-70 days) Blueberry Headband (2) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (70% Indica/30% Sativa) (65-70 days) Cheese (1) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (60% Indica/40% Sativa) (50-60 days) Plants got a strong tea as well as a final leaf strip and tie down to spread the canopy. Flipping today. 12/12. Drying the medium more. Day and night temps will go down by 5°F to 70°F at night/75°F during the day.

Looking back at recent weeks I realized that I mustve had a weird filter put over my pictures because some spots of most of my pictures are really unnaturally green looking. Picture 10 - Day 37 - Trimmed of some of the dying lower leaves of dwarf 1, still contemplating a flush on both the dwarfs. Picture 11 - Day 37 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Picture 12 - Day 39 - Dwarf 1 going strong. Will flush at next watering. Picture 13 - Day 39 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. I grew Lemon Grass Auto and Emerald Fire OG Auto from Humboldt Seed Company. I like the Emerald Fire OG Auto. Nice smokes while I wait for my photoperiod plants.
