Super soil Diary update 20th Feb 2020 So another week bites the dust and it's time to update again. I let the soil dry out within the pot for three days because it had been cooler and I was concerned that I had been overwatering. When I did give her a drink it was 10Lof Rainwater mixed with some Mollasses and ph'd to 6.5. I also gave her some epsom salts and I also finally got around to doing the worm warm, so All of my Photo strain girls got aprox half a kilo of fresh worm castings each. I have some more "high tea" bubbling away (see above video) that will be given to the plants later this week. After all that the soil should be very happy and hopefully this will pass onto the Wifi in the form of fat buds. Remember keep your soil happy and your plants will be happy too. Both seeds were planted on the same day, however, one is growing faster which leaves me to assume that's a male which I am very much happy for…time will tell.

Day 43- Not sure about defoliation on these girls. Looking for advice. Day 44 wow the growth is fast have three girls in flower and the rest following :) all got watered again today Day 45 girls are drinking daily and growing so well Day 46 wow so much growth we will defoliant tonight just so full they got watered today looks like they are drinking every day now Day 47 girl only drank two cups I think I’m going to pass on watering tomorrow. One of our bigger gelato girls grew two inches in a day!! Day 48 girls are growing so much bigger then I thought they would :) Day 49 girls got some defoliation looking great wish we had more room for them

And in to flower mode this girl goes, and i think she will be the more stable from all of the 4 testers going, she is vigorous half size plant, en comparing to the rest, and an excellent hybrid, these by the looks could very well be released some point this next year or so, she is performing like a queen !!! I don’t know what’s going on with my big girl I think is wind burn by me increasing the airflow I’m thinking it’s windburn well anyways I don’t know if it’s budrot cause I really want to chop thoses two tops off just incase help anyone if you know what this is

And she's off 👊🏻 Got a good bit of growth in this week. Super cropped a few of the branches cause they shot right past the others. Perked right back up though no worries. Officially on flower now, she's a light feeder through veg I had to cut the nutes right down, let's hope I can get a bit into her through flower, she is starting to drink a lot more anyway so we'll see. All good here, couple more weeks and I reckon she'll be good to pollinate.

It was very easy to grow this plant, she did everything by herself. The results are amazing, the taste is absolutely stunning and one joint is enough to be stoned for the rest of the day.

So I put this as flowering still since wanted to update but don’t have dry weight yet! Also never bother with wet weight so ya once dry in couple more days I’ll update harvest etc!

This week’s studio and improvised studio photos capture this perfectly—the transition from “flower set” to flower building. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Simplifying for Strength This week, we made an important nutritional adjustment: • Removed: Aptus All-in-One Liquid & Aptus Top Booster • Kept: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why this change? At this stage, the super soil’s NPK balance (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) is already strong enough to sustain healthy growth and flower formation. Adding the All-in-One Liquid or Top Booster would risk redundancy, too much nutrient overlap can actually slow the plant down, cause salt build-up, or push her into unnecessary stress. By keeping only the boosters and biostimulants, we are: • Supporting flower stacking and density (Power Buds). • Enhancing terpene and resin production (Sugar Royal). • Adding a multi-function bloom enhancer (Green Sensation, famous for its late-flower results). • Maintaining structure, transport, and stress resistance (Regulator). • Keeping calcium and magnesium in check (CalMag Boost). 🌱 Educational takeaway: Week 4 is about controlled nutrition, not force-feeding. Her pistils are now bursting and forming thick clusters, but she still sits a bit behind her sister. This difference is natural: Pheno #2 germinated later and is effectively running on a slightly younger internal clock. The 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 hours off) means she is easing into flower at her own rhythm. 👉 What this means: Both plants are thriving, but don’t expect them to bulk or finish at the same exact time. 5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.
