Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

Die Blätter haben durch die Blattläuse gut gelitten. Jedoch wachsen die Blüten gut weiter und sehen auch sehr schön aus und die neuen kleinen Blätter haben wieder ein sattes Grün. Die Blattläuse waren weg, danach wieder da weil sie wohl doch nicht ganz weg waren. Florfliegenlarven sind morgen da. Ab jetzt noch ca. 5 Wochen zur Ernte.

Alright, I moved her into Homebox Q60+ now and provided some professional light Q3W from Sanlight with 120W full spectrum range. This setup is much better for the plant compared to my setup in 1st week. Now it is also much easier for me to keep stable humidity and temperature. Day 9 - Looks like she recovers from stress I gave her in 1st week. Stem looks quite thin to me - but since I have no experience I can't be sure if it is abnormal for this age or not.

I removed one of the Mango Lassi plants because it was a hermie. I have one more Mango Lassi in a smaller pot. The Serious Kush looks really healthy.

The week is starting werry nicely. They keep growing, I think I didn't over or under water them. 9th day I'm starting to get the little conclusion, all the plants which are watered with Green Planet nutrients are looking a little bit bigger than their RQS rivals (when they were in the same day) Well anyways I think it's way to fast to make any conclusions. 2 days ago BlackBerry was bigger than Gg now I think it's the opposite so I won't make any conclusions before I'll smoke from both sides ;) Well its Thursday today, this Saturday I'll go to a local growshop to buy some more coco and 2 more pots so they have to wait 2 days more :) /edit. I decided to count only the days of first 3 ladies, other plants are like 4 or 5 or 6 days behind the first ones.

12/12 from seed. Week 12 overall. Week 8 of flower. And Cosmic Noodles is doing exactly what a finisher should do. No drama. No panic. No chasing numbers. Just a massive plant, a controlled fade, and a very clear push into the final stretch. She is not limping to the finish. She is arriving with weight. ⸻ 🍜 The Final Reduction This week, everything comes out except Pure Zym. No bloom feed. No boosters. No extras. No correction bottles. No late flower chasing. Just enzymes. And time. At this point, the goal is no longer to build. The goal is to finish clean. She has already done the hard part. The bulk is there. The frost is there. The density is there. Now the plant is simply being allowed to use what she has already stored. That’s the shift this week. Less input. More observation. Less pushing. More finishing. And for a plant this far along, that is often the better move. ⸻ 🌱 Why Keep Pure Zym In Because even when feed stops, the root zone is still working. Pure Zym stays because the medium is still alive. Microbial activity does not stop just because bottles do. At this stage, enzymes still help break down residual organic matter in the root zone, keep the medium cleaner, and support a softer transition as the plant begins consuming what remains available. That matters even more when the soil is not treated like disposable media. Because it isn’t. This soil still has a second job after this run. It goes outside. It gets reused. It feeds vegetables. It stays alive. And whether it is hard science, soft biology, or just grower instinct — keeping that soil active until the end has always made sense here. Not everything needs to be sterile to be effective. Sometimes the better approach is simply not killing what is still working. ⸻ ? Living Soil, Second Life That has always been part of the rhythm. What finishes the room does not leave the cycle. It just changes jobs. Once this run is done, that soil goes back outside and keeps working somewhere else. Different crop. Same biology. Same purpose. So yes — keeping the medium active late matters. Not just for this harvest. For what comes after it too. Call it practical. Call it circular. Call it habit. Either way, dead soil has never been the goal. ⸻ 📉 EC Down, pH Up, Eyes On the Plant This is where the spreadsheet starts losing authority. EC is down. Input is nearly gone. pH has drifted upward into that 6.8–7 range. And right now, it is not being forced back down. Not because numbers do not matter. Because context matters more. At this stage, the plant is finishing. Uptake is slowing. Demand is lower. Feed has been reduced. The root zone is doing less work than it was two weeks ago. So yes — on paper, some of these numbers would make people uncomfortable. In practice? The plant looks exactly like a plant that is finishing correctly. Still drinking. Still praying. Still stacking. Still fading evenly. Still moving from top to bottom without confusion. That matters more than chasing a perfect chart in the final stretch. Room VPD is a reference. Leaf response is the truth. And this room continues to be read by plant behavior first, numbers second. As always. ⸻ 🌡️ Conditions Stay Stable Nothing changed in the room because nothing needed to. Conditions remain steady. No dramatic swings. No forced stress. No late-stage environmental tricks. The room is stable. The plant is stable. The finish is stable. And late flower stability is one of the most underrated parts of a clean finish. No heroic adjustments. No panic corrections. No reinvention in the last chapter. Just consistency. ⸻ ️ A Proper Finisher And this one is a beast. Not “good structure.” Not “nice tops.” A beast. Huge central cola. Heavy side stacking. Dense flower formation. Thick terminals. Real weight from top to bottom. This is one of those plants that stops being judged branch by branch and starts being judged as mass. Because the whole frame is carrying. She is not finishing in isolated tops. She is finishing as a full plant. That matters. The top is heavy. The mid is real. The lowers are still worthwhile. And the entire plant is moving together. That is what a complete finisher looks like. ⸻ ❄️ Frost, Density & Finish Quality And she is not just big. She is finishing properly. Dense flower. Heavy resin. Excellent frost coverage. Strong calyx development. Good terminal formation. Real weight in the hands. The important part now is that she is not only stacking size — she is finishing with quality. That is the difference between a plant that looks impressive and a plant that actually delivers. This one does both. And whether part of her gets dried or part of her gets frozen, she has already made the case for both. That decision can wait. Right now, the only job is to let her finish. ⸻ 🍂 The Fade Is Real — And It’s Everywhere The fade is already underway. And more importantly, it is happening correctly. Not isolated. Not patchy. Not confused. She is fading from top to bottom. Across the plant. Across the canopy. Across the frame. That matters. A uniform fade tells a very different story than a stressed collapse. This is not random yellowing. This is not deficiency panic. This is senescence. The plant is reallocating. The cycle is closing. The finish has started. And she is doing it evenly. That is exactly what you want to see here. ⸻ 💡 Canopy Light Matters And once again, the lesson stays the same: Canopy lighting matters. When the full frame is finishing together, it shows. When lowers stay relevant, it shows. When the plant matures with less separation between top and bottom expression, it shows. Uniform development is not an accident. Top-to-bottom consistency like this is one of the clearest arguments for proper canopy penetration when the setup allows for it. Not mandatory in every room. But when possible, absolutely worth it. This plant makes that case on her own. ⸻ 📘 Week 12, Cosmic Noodles This is what the late game should feel like. Calm. Heavy. Controlled. Predictable. Close. No overreaction. No bottle panic. No forced finish. Just a large, healthy plant using the last of what she has and moving toward the end exactly like she should. And that is all this week needed to be. ⸻ ⏭️ What Comes Next Next week should bring more fade. More color loss. Less drinking. More swelling where it still matters. And a clearer final read on timing. She may finish next week. She may ask for a little longer. Both are still on the table. What should not happen is panic. No sudden overfeeding. No late corrections. No chasing green back into a plant that is already doing what finishing plants are supposed to do. From here, the job is simple: Watch the leaves. Watch the resin. Day 70 First day of Week 10, 12 days of flower - Plants look like they are loving life in the tent. White hairs coming up everywhere. Smell is starting to increase. Soil is still moist so no water today. Day 71, day 13 of flower- Buds are forming nicely, soil is pretty dry so I'll water tonight or tomorrow morning. The closest top to the light is about 18" the others are about. 24"from the light. Currently at using the Growers Choice ROI-720 at 60% using 432w from the wall. Watered with 3 liters of plain water per plant. Day 72, 14 days of flower - just measured them today. Day 73, 15 days of flower- I turned the light up to 70%. Soil is pretty dry today. Day 74, 16 days of flower- watered with 3 liters per plant with 2.3ml/g of micro, 2.3ml/g of grow, and 3.3ml/g of bloom with 1 tsp/g of molasses. PH 6.4 @ 71°F. Plant B has some lower leaves turning yellow. Day 75, day 17 of flower- trimmed alotnof yellow leaves off of plants B and D, plant A is starting to yellow at the tips of the new growth. White hairs are growing fast. Day 76, day 18 of flower- you can start to see the tricomes on the sugar leaves now buds are starting to form. Starting to claw at the ends again. Mabey from too much water. Not sure why they are yellowing, not sure if it's over water or under water or over feed or under fed.

I transplanted everything over the past 3 or 4 days and am just giving them some time to break in their new shoes before I flip them. I got a new bottle of calmag I think the one I was using was old it's been on the shelf for a while. The heat is still a little lower than I would like and now with the bigger pots humidity has gone way up.

The final week for the cough. She has had an easy week and will spend her last 7 days on just water and some humic acid/growzyme. I'll go to just water for her last feed which I expect to be on Friday. Her run off is still a 1.4 s she has food in her substrate. Not much more to say. She's fat with probably the most dense top I've grown to date. It's like there are at least 3 layers of flower growth over the buds with a fourth layer coming in, in the form of some foxtails. Can't really explain it but trust me it's dense.. super sweet smell also and very sticky to the touch. She has chewed through most of her fan leaves and I will remove any old ones through the week to aid with the trim/harvest Thanks for passing through. Grow well 👍🏼💚🌿🇬🇧.
