So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

Start of week 4

This is the beginning of each week. So I flushed them and switched nutrients. They were mag deficient, nitro toxic. Not PH actually. I'm adding co2 next week after I seal the room. I think I need to back the PAR down to 800 but they are still alive and it's over half way done. How any more weeks? I thought this was a 65 day auto. Hydro in a 5 gallon pot could add up to three weeks I heard with Autos. could these go 12 weeks total?

omg, another week has passed...... :) Day 100 - and then there was 11 Buds ....... lol Switched over to normal water on both ... smaller has been on water 1+ weeks ..... Endoscope arrives this week i hope..... harvested afew buds to fit it all in the tent and setup lights properly... trimmed em, wired em abit to support the weight of the buds.... I'll see how the endoscope results show, as to harvest...... i think growth slowed abit over last week or 2, because of poor light setup, not enough room in tent, and other grow 6400k led.... got a new tent on the way... 😎 Day 101 - Pics - edoscope, usb arrived... it's very good, but hard to stabalize / focus, i'll have to work out how to use it better...... the pics i posted were of a younger bud from the bottom..... i'm happy with the cloudy with amber, and harvesting.... 😎 Day 103 - vid of all trimmed and drying out upside down in tent. Day 105 - pics vids of drying and into curing.... i'll list all the test buds and buds i trimmed in the final harvest report.....😎

April 28 - May 5 This week the nutrients have been completely phased out and they are now just sipping plain TO water ph balanced to 5.8 still. As they start entering into the flushing zone with harvest day quickly approaching. Daily tricome inspections become the focal point In these final days and or weeks. I

Now a bunch of other stuff arrived and I can finally use fans for her! Also the hygrometer arrived and I was SHOCKED! It showed a humidity of around 40% and up to 28 degree. I dont even know how she survived that long ? After I witnessed the horrifying truth I searched restless for a humidifyer that fits into the room, and where I can also see the humidity, since I could not believe my eyes with the hygrometer

Mai 2025 - Blick in das Zelt als Video hochgeladen. - Die Runtz darf die Streckung jetzt gerne einstellen und dickere Äste bilden. 😝 - Die kleinere Lampe hängt jetzt über der Sleepy Joe und der Lava Cake, die beiden Sanlight S4W beleuchten von der Seite die Runtz und indirekt die anderen beiden Pflanzen. So könnte die Runtz bis an die Decke wachsen. 👍 07. Mai 2025 Die Spitze der Runtz hat 130 cm erreicht, ich habe sie mit einer Kordel nach unten gebunden. Kappen wollte ich sie in der Blüte nicht. Jetzt werden natürlich auch die Seitentriebe nach oben schießen. Ob die Runtz was wird bei den spargeligen Trieben? 😂 11. Mai 2025 - Die Lichtdauer habe ich vor drei Tagen von 12 auf 10 Stunden reduziert. Das bleibt so, bis das Längenwachstum der Runtz praktisch aufgehört hat. - Der Lüfter des Filters läuft jetzt auf Stufe 4 von 5 des Trenntrafos. Der Lüfter selbst hat zwei Stufen, er läuft immer auf der langsameren und vollkommen ausreichenden Stufe 1. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zelt liegt so bei ca. 50%. 👍 - Wasserverbrauch: bisher 30 Liter Aqua Vega (20 Liter hätten gereicht), 45 Liter Aqua Flores, davon 25 Liter gerade aufgefüllt. - pH-Korrektur: Aufgrund weißer Ablagerungen (Kalk?) an der Tankwand bin ich wieder auf die bewährte Korrektur des pH per pH-Down umgestiegen. Das Wasser hier ist sehr hart. Ich bin skeptisch, ob der Dünger das ohne pH-Down puffern kann. Sind nur 3 ml pro 10 Liter Wasser, also kein Mehraufwand. 👍 - Bei diesem Grow wollte ich bevorzugt die eher rötlich leuchtenden Sanlight S4W verwenden und nicht wie sonst die China-Panel mit weißem Licht. Keine Ahnung, ob die Runtz genetisch bedingt so in die Höhe schießt (die anderen beiden machen es nicht) oder ob sie besonders auf den roten Anteil im Licht reagiert. 👹 Was habt Ihr für Erfahrungen mit der Runtz oder der Sanlight S4W? 😊 Was meint Ihr, wird die Rutz bei den aktuell dünnen Trieben eher Top oder Flop? Die letzte Woche vor der Ernte gibt's nur noch Wasser, CalMag und einen Tropfen SuperVit. Die Buds sind so schwer, dass die Pflanze schon schräg hängt, und der Duft ist einfach mega lecker!😋 The last week before harvest will only involve water, CalMag, and a drop of SuperVit. The buds are so heavy that the plant is already leaning to one side, and the scent is just incredibly delicious!👍

Time lapse 23rd June > Aug 21st 2020. Plenty of screwups - over/under watering+ feeding + pollenated the tent with one hermie, two plants throwing nannas (due to UV) out in the last two weeks and the major heatwave all did not help, This was totally my screw up and for that I still give this strain a solid 8/10. The tastes are nice although my first try of Runtz was in Cali and it is certainly another level over there. Unfortunately I did not get a pheno similar to that I smoked in the US but out of the 5 I did get I really enjoyed one of them which is hard hitting! Apologies for the time-lapse as its not always spot on and often other things took over. Stuff never goes the way you plan it in your head. Upon drying the temps were good and they dried okay. The reason why this is a write off is because one of the plants hermied and caused most of the plants to be pollenated. When I harvested I noticed a few nannas poking out so I'm not sure if I let them run too long, too much stress, underwatering, light intensity, the UV bar or heat stress. Anyways I didn't catch it and I have some well developed seeds. I think it's down to the UV bar causing the nannas but the seeds were ripe (tiger stipe brown) so didn't have enough time to grow and ripen. Seeing as I had deficiencies early on in flower - WK4 - I think it happened then. The PP and runtz all have seeds bar one plant (the nice gassy pheno) and the tent was cleaned with bleach, vacuumed and temps increased to over 100f with a heater after disinfecting. Nevertheless I will grow this again! it's all a learning curve! More bud shots to come when cured. Just over an 1oz per plant is pretty poor imo but again you live and learn from your screw up! Got to be on point with my watering next time! That's why I love hydro!

Not a bad week. Left unattended with nutrient feed. One got slightly over watered ,so I removed water line for a day or two to let it dry down. PH perfect nutrients really make it easy to have a low maintenance grow. Going to let them be for another week while I decided if I want to top or just tie down. Will update pictures and such as the week progresses.
