Update last week of Goofiez 2 the harvest is coming!!!

I know that it may seem like a lot of nutrients at first. It’s not. A lot of those mycorrhizae ingredients are mixed into my soil well before the germinated seed goes into the pot. I make my own mix of soil using some of those ingredients. I like to use the great white mykos because of its powders consistency. Makes it easy for a clean transport from germinated bean to its forever home. For watering, they have been given only plain RO water with a neutral ph. Just yesterday I gave them a little tiny mix of Medusa’s magic, Zeus juice, and Gaia mania. I have used Oregon’s only brand products for a while now and I absolutely love them and better yet, I understand them. They have responded super well already to their first drink of bottled nutes with a ph of 6.3 . I’m keeping a RH between 50 and 60%. I’m also keeping a temp during the day at around 78-81°f. Right now I’m not worried about a night time temp but I do run cooler lights for about 4 hrs every day, dropping to around 70-75°f. Eventually I will add my second light boosting me from 600w too 1200w. Also they will begin a 20-4 hr light cycle. I find these autos do amazing with a little rest for 4 hrs. Allows me to pull more resin and color in later stages of life by dropping the temp lower than usual with the lights off. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 4-5g of well water. 6/10- I watered the Papaya Sherbet today and also did a little canopy maintenance, removing some leaves and some small shoots that would have taken energy better used elsewhere on the plant. 6/12- I gave the Papaya Sherbet photo a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. I am also planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and a little of their 2-8-4 along with some Wiggle Worm castings and a little Down to Earth Bio-Fish. 6/14- Another week gone and this little lady has really come along considering her late start and getting chewed on when she was young. All in all the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is shaping up to be one fine looking plant! This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Week 14 (1-5 to 7-5) 1-5 Temperature: 28.2 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 62% (highest) 46% (lowest) No pictures. 2-5 Temperature: 29.2 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 48% (lowest) Removed the net, and tied down some branches to the pot with some gardening wire. This way i can easily remove the pots out of the tent to weigh them. I also moved the oscilating fan from underneath the canopy to above the canopy. This is because the leaves gets hotter as i increase the light's power output. The Gorilla Kush #2 and the Chemdog #2 are showing some heat stress. Installed a valve on the autopot from the Kush #2. This is because its weight is higher then the other pots. Before i watered them i weigh the pots. Dry weight: Gorilla Kush #1: 4.4 kg Gorilla Kush #2: 6.0 kg Added 10L to the reservoir. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 3-5 Temperature: 26.2 degrees (lights on) 19.9 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 47% (lowest) No pictures. Increased the light's power output to 75% LUX: 16.000 / 20.000 4-5 Temperature: 26.9 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 41% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 5-5 Temperature: 27.6 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 47% (lowest) No pictures. 6-5 Temperature: 27.6 degrees (lights on) 20.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 42% (lowest) Dry weight: Gorilla Kush #1: 4.4 kg Gorilla Kush #2: 5.4 kg Added 10L to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml left in the reservoir so now its almost 13L. The bud development of the #2 is very mediocre, some buds show some THC, and some buds have almost none on them. BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. 2020-08-11 Another week gone by... Plant 01 is still fattening up, drinking normally. Plant 02 has been completely choked out of the lights so it's not doing very well. Keeping the nutrients the same as they are both pretty steadily drinking. Some death amongst the lower leaves on plant 02 and the buds are getting trichomes but not getting very fat. Plant 01 is very dense and sticky af. Excited to harvest in a couple weeks! The tent is definitely ugly as hell and the vegetative state clearly went on for about 2 weeks too long (first time grower) while I messed up the nutrients and other things that caused them to grow slowly. The 2nd plant never really recovered. I have continued defoliating and super-cropping plant 01 away from the light and keeping the distances even... It's an ugly canopy, can't wait for the next one so I can get it right!!

Going into this week the girls are now reeking of dank so loud the neighbor was asking when it's going to be ready. 😂 Buds are getting nice and dense and I've got excellent node spacing for this cultivar. Can't wait till she is ready.

Happy Birthday! One week old today and looking good. Stretched a little more than I hoped, but maybe that will help when I bend her in a few weeks. MA is front-center in the group shots.

All plants are down! I am stoked with how the grow went and this strain has performed well. Terps are out of this world - candy - jelly babies, sour worms, Fanta grape and bubblegum stinking up the room. Some pheno's are more forsty then others but it seems we have found a couple keepers to re-test. Next post will be nug shots, weight once all dry. We will also do full cannabinoid testing to determine the potency of some of the phenos which we think are worth testing. Look out for that! It will be the final entry on this log :) Happy growing fam
