Let's call it Fuego RSO.. 😎 you will need: 30g / 1 ounce trim or flowers, ground coarsely or blitzed 1 litre alcohol (better the expensive one which is food safe, butthen it would be nice to have a distiller to catch it.. so i take rubbing alcohol 99,9%) a cheap rice cooker, you need to be able to operate it with an open lid, and it needs to switch to keep warm function by itself! a USB cup heater a container for mixing the weed with the alcohol, made from ceramic or glass or something a stick for stirring a container to catch the green liquid (alcohol is magically dissolving many colors and other things so make sure you use the right materials here) a straining cloth, sieve, coffee filter etc to seperate the plant material from the green alcohol trichomes solution a scraper or spatula a heat proof glass to put on the USB heater for last finish a glass container or cyringe to store the finished oil some coconut oil and some small glass jars ° first you pour half of your alcohol over the flowers or trim and then stir for several minutes ° sieve the material, catch the green liquid ° put the material back into the bowl and mix with the other half of the alcohol, repeat ° put the minimum demanded amount of liquid in the rice cooker and switch on, stay there!!! keep the lid a bit open, this is really prone to catch fire now. i do it in the garden when it's windy.. February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Spent the whole week wondering if I was over or under watering. I was waiting about 3 days between waterings and only watering until I saw a few drops come out the bottom of the cup. I've been nervous because I keep seeing the most common mistake new growers make is overwatering. Ended the week with a poorly executed transplant into a 1 gallon smart pot (it's all I have atm). The root ball held together for the most part but after I got it into the new pot it kept falling over. Its standing up now. Hopefully it's not too mad at me.

84th day!!! I came back from vacation, the girl has changed, she suffered from extreme heat and wanted water every day, but she only got it every 2 days, but I'm already home and I'll take care of her :) it's strange that this is a tropicana cookies auto strain, she's 12 weeks old - she doesn't flower :D I'll see how it all ends :) good luck to everyone:).

Veg week two. Everything seems to be ok at this point.

Jo die sind echt krass gewachsen, der eine vorne sehr buschig, die oberen Fächerblätter des Hauptstamms mussten entfernt werden. Der hiintere wächst anders, und beide wurden einmal getoppt, noch 3 Tage veggie, sodass die eine 4 Wochen und 3 Tage Veggie hatte, währenddessen die hintere #2 3 Wochen und 5 Tage, dann gehts ab morgen in die Blüte. EN Yeah, they have really grown a lot, the one in front is very bushy, the upper fan leaves of the main stem had to be removed. The one in the back grows differently, and both were topped once, still 3 days of veggie, so the one had 4 weeks and 3 days of veggie while the back one #2 had 3 weeks and 5 days, then starting tomorrow it goes into bloom.

Week 9 9 weeks of Vegging, this is where if you work as a Master Grower in a big scale Grow-Op, the boss starts to ask if they’re ready for the flowering rooms... They need one more week Sir ! I have defoliate and lollipopped the plants. Taking off the 4 highest fan leaves and trimming the legs of the lowest shoots. Starting by the fan leaves at beginning of the week and trimming the shoots a few days after at the end of week. Normally, if it has been done right, during the next week the plants should start to spread, growing like little bushes. I will keep on spreading them, to give them all the space they need to grow, but just close enough to make them feel the competition with the others. Next week will be the last week of Vegging, if everything goes well they should reach the right level, just before switching and should have enough space left for the stretch and the Flowering cycle without finishing into the lights. Note: Little chem-burn this week. Feed just water for 4 days with correct PH and they jumped back. Was not that bad though. Day 21 on flower!

Sep 8: surprise hailstorm last night did some damage. Heavy buds were causing the stems to topple so harvested first round. First round 270 g wet.

Start of week 7 and GSC is one happy lady. Pistil's are slowly turning orange at day 37. Tricomes are thickening and nugs are starting to put on mass. Looking forward to the weeks to come. Any suggestions or comments drop me a line. Happy Gardening 🙏🖖🌱👴🏼
