This week ia am planning to let it grow just like this. Hopefully I will receive a plant camera next week to monitor my VPD. Also added an IRheater to keep temperature stable The infrared heater does its job, but I find it a waste of electricity, 3.6 kWh in one night. So I've decided to install a gas heater instead, which delivers the same result at a much lower cost and also provides additional CO2. The heater can then keep the temperature above 21˚C with the lights off. The natural gas heater will be used with the lights on. I need to quickly find a CO2 sensor because too much CO2 has a counterproductive effect, as I've already noticed. Approximately 1200 PPM at 32˚C is optimal as long as I can maintain a DLI of 35. Great technology is on the way. Added: Installed CO2 burner, run it for 6 minutes every hour. Temp raises from 22˚C to 27˚C in about 7 minutes. CO2 detector (just colors, no values) doesn't alarm so not above 1500PPM CO monitor also no alarm :) Running for 4 hours now and a visible change is there. Tomorrow I will know if it is ok or not. Added a few pictures. Lets see if we can see the difference tomorrow. 26-05: Added Dimlux Maxi controller for CO2 and VPD. Keeping things simple again this week. Roots are already starting to come thru the starter pots drainage holes so I'd say the action below the surface has been what I was hoping for with this starter mix. I'll continue to provide a MegaCrop and Kelp Extract feedings to push her a little bit, I heard the term Synthganic the other day and it seems appropriate her, as I'm using organic and salt nutrients... I've got a little road trip planned so she may be coming down the shore with me over Thanksgiving.

Lemon Cream Kush was a great olant. Lovely smell and lots of nice hard and frosty buds.

These plants were very easy to grow. They didn't get very big, but had a great yield for average sized plants. A tent full of them would offer a solid yield. Nice big, dense, sticky buds. The colas cured into some really gorgeous produce, and the flavors just keep improving with time. Yield: 8/10 Potency: 7/10 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 8/10 Bud density: 8/10 Another winner from AMS!

Apple Pie. mmmmmm 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

after only 10 1/2 weeks, ready for harvesting 👌 they could have matured for another 1 or 2 weeks but I would like to have a high effect here as well, my insides ones will give me the stone. result for the 3 girls in 3 litre pots: 153g wet. Dry result in 10 days, and surely a first impatient smoke test 😏 Even if they didn't suffer from pest attacks, it was impossible to avoid the little ones and their eggs from sticking to the leaves and buds; I did a buds washing to get rid of them.

On 7/25 I finally got some time to spend with this girl because my Sunday Farmers Market was postponed a day due to rain, so I got pretty wet out in the garden😅 I removed the discolored fan leaves that were't getting enough light and a few interior branches growing inward that wouldn't amount to much. I used 4' bamboo stakes and PGarden EZ Soft Plant Ties to train her main branches out for better air circulation and light penetration. Since it won't be long until they start flowering I decided to give them a bit more P&K with the Neptune's Harvest Rose & Flowering and some good old fashioned Crosby's Molasses to get that sugar production going😋 After I was finished I brought the trim leaves back with me for my horse since he loves snacking on them😉

day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.

Week 6 of flowering, and things are heating up—literally with the scent! 🌬️💨 Both plants have significantly increased their aroma, and every time I open the grow box, I’m greeted with a strong and delightful smell that fills the space. The non-LST plant is much further along in its development. Its buds have progressed beautifully in color, and I’ve already noticed the first amber trichomes appearing. 🍂✨ This, along with its overall appearance, is signaling that it’s nearing maturity. Because of this, I’ve started flushing the plant with clear water to prepare it for harvest. Speaking of the LST plant, it’s about a week behind. 🌱 While it’s not as far along, it’s still thriving with strong trichome production and a stunning Lemon Haze aroma that’s sharper every day. 🍋💚 Both plants are doing great, and the differences in their timelines make this grow even more interesting. I’m excited to see how the LST variant catches up in the coming weeks! 😊🌟

Hi guys we are officially in the 5th Week of Flowering :) Ladies enjoying their time, nothing looks bad or suspicious at least 😄 Still giving every 3rd day Nutes and almost watering every day huh, its quite warm and stinky in the Tent! Cookies and cream and Somango didnt really had stretch at all but their growing way faster than those Bubba kush plants! See ya next week

Both outdoor autos settled firmly into early-to-mid flower this week. Nice Cream Auto showed steady bud development with tightly stacking colas and strong lateral structure, holding a healthy green canopy and giving off the first creamy berry aroma. Tiger #2 Auto remained more compact but equally vigorous, pushing dense flower sites and releasing a sweet grape-diesel scent. Trichomes began appearing on sugar leaves across both plants, mostly clear but multiplying daily. The 5-gallon Nice Cream retained moisture longer while Tiger #2 dried faster under afternoon heat, prompting slight watering adjustments. By the end of the week, both plants were thriving under the warm SoCal sun, entering the stacking phase that will define mid-flower in Week 9.

Week has been easy, plant is thickening up and bit and getting extra stinky. happy with the way its going, cant report anything other then that.
