Barney’s knocked it out of the park with this one. This is hands down the most beautiful, strong, resistant, heavy yielding plant that I had so far. The huge colas are made of rock hard, rainbow 🌈 cloured nugs covered in tons of trichomes. It’s hard to describe with words. Moreover she had no problems with mold, botrytis even though the humidity reached 75 % sometimes, because of the crazy humid summer and i was very worried for these enormous flower clusters. In addition to that I had at least 3 or 4 different phenos in 12 seeds but all of them spectacular in they own regard. I am keeping at least 3 of them for future grows. Highly, highly recommended. Cheers

Major defoliation/ lollipoping that happened this week right on day 20 my main concern was looking for more hermies (due to stem cracks from lst) and also cut out any lower branches that where going to make larfy buds. I only cut up the branches untill the point that the budsites where at least a nice pistil cluster (10and up ) some branches got a good 6-7 inches shaved off some more like 2-3 just depends on the plant with so much variety. Also my plants are like touching the lights it just wont let me mark less then 4inches i have the ability to raise my light another 2inches so i will definitely be doing that. For now i have the taller branches off to the sides so the can outgrow the light without burning. Smells finally starting to come in with more gassy earth coming from DD and devine chocolate GG4 smell coming from the mellows Still see some nitrogen toxicity not sure if should cut all nutes in half considerIng week three biogrow increases to 3ml/L

The plants look a bit damaged and need some care as I was on holiday for a couple of weeks. They were watered every 2-3 days but not looked after any further, yet they have grown quite a bit. The smaller Fractal has already started to flower. They have lost a bit of colour, I hope to be able to fix that. Fractal 1 120 cm Fractal 2 100 cm

Introduction - Week 09 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 100906.68, Overall a pretty good grow week! Started the week off by increasing the light's intensity. Also raised it up a bit. Most of the week was basic growth checkups and humidifier refilling. Mid week, increased the light's intensity a bit more. Also did a top soil drench of organic fertilizer along with a simple defoliation. Towards the end of the week, decided to give both girls a large bottom watering. Also did a mini defoliation again. Now that both reservoirs are full with about 2 gallons, shouldn't need to water for a while. Next week will be the big 12/12 flip! Steady as she grows Ensign. Engage! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 09] ========================================================== WEEK 09 - Full Veg Wk4 04/17/23 → 04/23/23 This Week's Estimated Goals ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DLI: 39 mol/m2/d PPFD: 600 μmol/m2/s VPD: 0.5-1.0 kPa This Week's Meter Readings & Averages ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DLI: 40.05 mol/m2/d PPFD: 618 μmol/m2/s VPD: 1.04 kPa Soil %: [25.9, 37.3, 32.0, 34.7] ========================================================== Day 01 - Monday - 04/17/23 - Total Days: 063 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages - Temps: 77.8°F [25.4°C] - Humidity: 68.6% - VPD: 1.00 kPa - Soil %: [19, 28, 30, 28] ----------------------------------- - [09:23]: Quick morning checkup! --- Looking great my ladies! --- EB1 is continuing to explode with growth! --- Refilled the humidifier with distilled water and Hydrogen Peroxide (~20mL). - [22:25]: Evening my girls! --- Growing along nicely! --- The top of the canopy is clearly filling in with top sites. --- Refilled the humidifier with distilled water and Hydrogen Peroxide (~20mL). --- Looking at the lower leaves, plan to do another fertilizer feeding soon. Yet the Ecowitt sensors have not really changed much at all. - [17:09]: Rotated both EarthBoxes 180 degrees. --- Checked the fill tube for each EarthBox. --- Both fill tubes are now pretty dry! --- With the current soil moisture levels, decided to continue on with the top soil drenching. --- Don't frack this up Ensign! - [17:21]: Filled a pitcher with 5 cups of distilled water. --- Then filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of distilled water. --- Added 1/32tsp + 1/64tsp + Half 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract --- Added 1/16tsp + 1/32tsp + 1/64tsp of: ------ Horticultural Aloe ------ Big 6 Micronutrients [+ Humic Acid] --- Added 1/8tsp + 1/16tsp + 1/32tsp of: ------ Mycrobe Complete ------ Recharge --- Added 1/4tsp + 1/8tsp + 1/16tsp of: ------ Pure Protein Dry [Organic Fish Aminos] --- Added 2mL of Bio-Catalyst Enzyme Elixer --- Added 5.25mL of Yah-Whey --- Mixed the solution and poured everything straight into the pitcher to mix with the 5 cups of distilled water from earlier (now 7 cups). --- Poured 3.5 cups of the mixed solution into a spray bottle. - [17:54]: Rotated the EarthBoxes 90 degrees. EB2 is now facing the front. --- Before watering, going to defoliate a bit. - [17:58]: Using a pair of trimmers, I gently clipped away lower yellowing leaves. --- Removed a few of the larger fan leaves which were covering top sites. --- To help to further promote top growth, also removed more lower nodes. --- Time to top soil drench! --- Also going to top dress a bit of gnarly barley! - [18:27]: Gently removed the rear moisture meter before pealing back the plastic much cover. --- Now for the top dressing. - [18:30]: Sprinkled 1/4cup of Gnarly Barley onto the top soil. --- Tried to stay towards the back. --- Using my fingers, I gently tilled the topdressing into the top soil. --- Also tried to work in all of the trimmings from the defoliation. - [18:42]: Misted the top soil for EB2. --- Made sure to spray the area with the Grow Dots, but did not spray the grow bag. --- Sprayed the whole top soil, but focused more on the back area. --- Placed the mulch cover back along with the rear moisture sensor. - [18:59]: Rotated the EarthBoxes 180 degrees. --- Now for EB1, --- Using a pair of trimmers, I gently clipped away yellowing leaves. --- Also removed the larger fan leaves covering top sites. - [19:20]: Gently removed the rear moisture meter. --- Then pealed back the plastic much cover. - [19:24]: Sprinkled 1/4cup of Gnarly Barley onto the top soil. --- Again, tried to stay towards the back. Its very frosty and I would say overall very good if you are looking for hash. I personally do not get much flavors out of it. I harvested 3 plants, flushed them properly, and dried them properly. All of that said, the flavor just wasnt there for me. I get a coffee aroma from its buds but definitely lacks flavor. I do not get any sweet notes from it like I should. This strain is strawbanana cream x do-si-do so I was hoping for a bit more flavor. I do not weigh wet, so final dry weight after a tight trim was a little over 6 ounces.

So it has come to an end of the 5th week of flowering . In this week i changed my reservoir for the first time. I spend more time monitoring the change of the reservoir and found out that the ppm of it was higher than the initial value. When i premix the solution it was around 850ppm but when i added it to the medium within 2 days it jumped to 1300-1400 . That caused a slight nutes burn but it was very mild. The other thing i found out is that the ph tends to become lower when it is added to the medium , i found some deficiencies on the leaves and i knew immediately that my ph was messed up. There are three things that i don’t really understand what i did wrong . 1.The size of the buds , since it is the end of week 5 into flowering . The buds seems underdeveloped compared to others. 2. I can’t see any trichomes clearly yet (very few) 3.why do i have a lot of sugar leaves and lots of small buds instead of few big buds. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

🌸 Week 5 Flower – Frost on the Horizon We’ve reached the midway mark of flower, and the Mango Kush sisters are entering their true production phase. What started as white hairs and clusters is now becoming recognizable bud sites, with calyx swelling, pistils stacking, and resin glands beginning to form. Even though the two phenos are still at slightly different paces, both are showing the strength of Mango × Hindu Kush genetics: dense flower set, uniform branching, and a promise of rich aromas to come. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Adjusting for Signs & Demands This week we observed minor leaf spotting, likely an early sign of calcium/magnesium imbalance. With the canopy pushing hard into bloom, demand for structural nutrients rises. To address this, we adjusted the recipe: Updated Feeding Mix (per liter): • 🌿 Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • 🌿 Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.35 ml (slight increase for leaf support) • 🌿 Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml (reintroduced for balanced NPK support) • 🌿 Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • 🌿 Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml Why this change? • All-In-One Liquid provides a steady base of NPK to complement the super soil and ensure no hidden deficiencies appear as flowers bulk. • CalMag Boost increased slightly to help counter early spotting and reinforce leaf health. • Sugar Royal & Green Sensation remain to push terpene, resin, and bud density. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: At mid-flower, nutrition must shift slightly from “steering” to supporting. The plant is now a high-demand engine, and small deficiencies show quickly. Adding back a balanced NPK base (All-In-One) ensures pistil and calyx production doesn’t stall. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment – Riding the Heat The room remains lively but challenging: • 🌡️ Temps: peaking at 31–34°C • 💧 RH: 50–60% • 📊 VPD: ~1.8–2.0 kPa While slightly hotter than ideal, the Mango Kush girls are holding strong thanks to airflow and the resilience provided by biostimulants like Sugar Royal and Regulator. An AC unit is on the way, which will stabilize the climate moving forward. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: High VPD increases water demand, plants drink more, transpire faster, and pull nutrients quicker. This can be beneficial if balanced correctly, but also risky: deficiencies show up faster, and stress can slow bud formation. Monitoring and adjusting is the key. ⸻ 💡 Lighting – Mid-Canopy Power Boost Our lighting orchestra is now running at higher intensity to fuel flower bulking: • ThinkGrow Model One – deep penetration into the canopy • 2× ThinkGrow ICL-300 bars – mid-canopy support, ensuring no shadowed sites • Future of Grow Black Series 600W – full-spectrum coverage • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro – evening out the footprint PPFD is averaging 750–800 µmol/m²/s, which is perfect for mid-flower. The canopy is even, with bud sites developing from top to bottom. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: Mid-canopy lighting like the ICL-300 prevents “popcorn buds” by ensuring lower sites receive enough light intensity to develop properly. The result: fuller plants, less larf, more usable flower. ⸻ 🌱 Genetics in Action – Mango Kush Week 5 • Pheno #1 – Still ahead, stacking pistils into early bulking buds, beginning to sparkle under macro view. • Pheno #2 – Catching up fast, with strong pistil growth and early calyx development. Though she started later, her structure is filling in beautifully. Both phenos are showing that classic Mango Kush balance: fruit-forward aromas beginning to rise when you brush the flowers, with the Kush backbone promising earthy depth in the final cure. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect & What Not to Expect ✅ Expect this week and next: • Rapid calyx swelling → buds begin “rounding out” • Trichome initiation across sugar leaves • First noticeable sticky texture • Stronger aroma when handling ❌ Not yet: • Full frost coverage (peaks Weeks 6–7) • True terpene explosion (Weeks 7–8) • Final density (Weeks 7–9) 🌱 Educational Takeaway: Week 5 is often where growers get impatient. Resist the urge to overfeed or over-adjust. Buds are setting their foundation now, the bulk and frost come with time. ⸻ 🔄 Recap – The Journey So Far • Weeks 0–2: Seedlings established, Aptus Start Booster support • Weeks 3–4 Veg: Rapid branching, transplant into super soil + Aptus Mycor-Mix & Buffer • Week 5 (Flip): 12/12, stretch begins • Flower Weeks 1–2: Power Buds introduced, lighting expanded • Flower Week 3: Flower set established, pistils everywhere • Flower Week 4: Bulking begins, feeding simplified • 🌸 Flower Week 5 (Now): Buds swelling, trichomes emerging, All-In-One Liquid reintroduced, environment monitored closely ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude To everyone following along, thank you. Each week is a balance of science, art, and patience, and it means a lot to share this journey together. The Mango Kush sisters are teaching us once again: growth happens in stages, and trust in the process brings the best results. ⸻ 💭 Grower’s Note: “This week felt like the garden finally started to sparkle. The first trichomes are here, pistils are building like fireworks, and even with the heat waves, the girls stand tall. Pheno #1 is racing, Pheno #2 is steady — and together, they remind me that nature never grows in straight lines, only in rhythms.” 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic.

-27.06.2024 The first week of the vegetative phase begins today. The little plants look quite good. The light is still 100 cm above the plants and is running at 30% (5% more than last week). The values measured with the Photone app are ppfd = 240-270 and DLi = 15.5 - 17.5. The temperature is 22.9 degrees and the humidity is 65%. -28.06.2024 The plants were watered properly for the first time today. About 500ml per plant. A little bit of mycorrhiza was added to the water.. -29.06.2024 Visual inspection, everything looks good. I put sticks in the soil as a precaution to give the plants some support. -30.06.2024 Today the soil felt quite dry so the plants got about 200ml of water (per plant). I also increased the light intensity slightly. Measured values with the Photone app: Ppfd = 300-320 DLi = 22.5-23.6 . -01.07.2024 Just a visual check, everything looks good so far -02.07.2024 visual check, the soil was dry again so each plant got 200ml of water. The distance to the lamp was reduced by 20cm and it now hangs 80cm above the plants. Measured values with the Photone app: PPfd = 360-370 DLi = 25.8-27 -03.07.2024 The last day of the first week in the vegetative phase. The soil was dry so each plant got 200ml of water.
