Start of week 4, day 22. Flowers are producing very fast and thick. Slightly ahead of the last grow. And I have definitely got the excessive growth under control so far 🤞.

📆 Semana 6 Blue Zushi está mostrando su lado más exótico esta semana. Los cogollos han comenzado a compactarse con fuerza y se nota una producción de resina que va en aumento. Visualmente, empieza a asomar ese tono azulado que tanto llama la atención en esta genética, sobre todo en las puntas más expuestas a la luz. A nivel nutricional, sigo con la base de XpertNutrients y ya se nota el empuje adicional de Sticky Fingers, que está potenciando claramente la formación de tricomas y dando un pequeño salto en la intensidad del aroma, que empieza a volverse más dulce y fresco. Los Adlite están funcionando a la perfección: gracias a su uniformidad, incluso las ramas laterales están sacando cogollos densos y con buena pinta. Temperaturas estables entre 22 y 25 °C y humedad en torno al 55%, controlada con buena ventilación para evitar condensaciones y problemas en la fase más delicada. En cuanto a olores, empieza a destacar ese perfil afrutado y ácido con fondo kush, muy característico de la Blue Zushi. Los tricomas están en su mayoría lechosos, por lo que aún queda recorrido antes de pensar en cosecha. Una planta vistosa y con mucha clase. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Hello Guys and Happy Easter🐰, Week 4 of flowering is over. One plant got a polyploid mutation i got the same mutation on an earlier grow so i know this will look interessting at the end. I did my first cuttings on the Slurricanes 8/10 are rooted so im quite happy with the outcome but unfortunately the cutting from the frostiest pheno at the moment didnt make it. I did a little bit to much on the more PK nutrients so they got a little bit buned tips but in overall im very happy some of the plants already smell so fruity and sweet cant wait how this Tent will smell at the End 😋

Sooooo this has been an amazing and exciting week! Ive been patient with this last plant and really checking the trichomes i inly wanted a few amber caps on the nugs, was looking for milky on this one! Shes smelling amazing and the color change was such a sight to see! She did so well with the nutrients and loved the 2 week flush i did! I cut her down did a wet trim and have em in the drying rack! Im excited to see how she cures and drys ready for the smoke reveal! Some are swelling , one is smelling very different to the others . I seem to have 6 phenos from small to tall and rounded buds to thin spear shaped buds. I'm not sure which is my favourite yet but one has a very unique smell almost like pineapple and exodus cheese , it could be that one but I also like the bud formation on another,, we will see

Six weeks ago I flipped the light to 12/12 and I got to say it’s pretty fast growing. Trichomes looking good. Harvest get closer and closer. 4 of 5 plants are colouring pretty hard. Nice bud to leaf ratio and overall nice appearance. This week I started to lower the temps for terpene preservation. Smell is quite skunky and a little bit fruity. Not the biggest harvest but its probably the most potent i have grown so far except for maybe the gg4 auto but im going to be doing some more titan and other f1s for sure probably going to try some of the other ones also all in all im happy with the few ozs i got ,super dense and very sweet fuely berry smell its very got a very unique look,smell and taste its awesome im so glad i grew all these different strains that i have never smoked or grew lol the only thing from this round i have smoked or grew before was the gg4 the rest were all new and i did each plant differently according to what the girls were telling me and it worked out fairly well for me this round

During week 3 all plants are growing well inside the Growfor.Life-Closet and have a healthy green color. The latest addition: Double Dutch plant #3 (from Serious Seeds) is behind the rest, but also doing well. On Day 18 the biggest three plants, Double Dutch plant #1 and #2 and OG-Kush have gotten so big that a first round of defoliation was necessary. I do this in order to avoid big leaves touching each other and causing dampness to condensate between the leaves, which in turn can attract fungus and mold. Therefore i take off all the big fan leaves starting from the bottom of the plant and only leave the top two fan leaves on the plant. Now the air can flow freely through the canopy again and no leaves are touching and no dampness can condensate. The plants are still getting no extra nutrients, since the PLAGRON Grow-Mix I use should still have plenty in it. I only use RHIZOTONIC from CANNA one time in order to enhance the root-production. Now at this stage you already can clearly see differences between Double Dutch (from Serious Seeds) and OG-Kush (from Humboldt Seeds). The leaf shape is different (smaller and more pronounced fingers on the leaves of OG-Kush) and also the growth pattern (more like Indica in Double Dutch). On Day 19 I decide to do some LST (=low stress training) in order to train the 3 biggest plants into a bushier form. This is necessary, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in height and I want the plants to fill out the whole area well with budding sites. I use stiff insulated copper-wire (standard electrical wire, pieces of appr. 30 cm length) and bend small arches, which I then carefully place over the top-part of a side-branch and push the open ends of the wire downwards into the soil so it holds the branch in place, while its bent outwards away from the main stem. This way I 'fan-out' the lowest 4 side-branches, so they are growing upwards at places where the light can reach them better. (see in detail in video) All plants respond well to the LST and turn their leaves and tips of the side-branches towards the light again until the next day. At day 19 the plants are now almost 20 cm tall, therefore I also decide to switch to 12/12 hours of light/darkness now in order to induce flowering. I change the program of the Growfor.Life-Closet from the standard-grow-mode (=18 hours of light per day) to the custom-flowering-program (12/12 hours of light, where I can choose the time when the lamps turn on). Now the plants will grow slower until they start to flower. I LOVE THE Growfor.Life-Closet, its sooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL and soooooooooooooooo SILENT, a landmark technical development in my opinion! This is growing made stealthy and effortless, GROWING OF THE 21st CENTURY!

Today is the second day this week with sunshine. The days before were rainy and cold. All plants are doing fine, but I feel, they should be quicker. But then again I am probably spoiled in that regard, by growing indoor. One of the ICE (3) isn't happy somehow and rolling her leaves, but her green and growth matches the others, so I ignore it. The plants received nothing this week, except naturally falling rain water. I have some plant manure cooking, it should be ready in 10-14 days. The garden is full of sweet peas, so i am using those. I also made some compost tea, which I will give the plants tomorrow morning. If there is interest, I will cover my next batch of manure/tea with some pictures. The Passion #1 look like they have bounced back from the topping. In one or two weeks I will top them again.

I caught up on some reading and decided to defoliate before chasing the second half of this flower. I'm pretty confident that after being in the Nature's Living Soil for a few weeks that she is strong enough to handle the defoliation, but hell, whadda I know?? 9.19 - The DumpsterQueen didn't even flinch at the defoliation. Yay! 9.21 - Just enjoying the show :) 9.22 - Figure I better learn how to best take and edit photos. Probs need some auxiliary non-grow light 😝

Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Conocí esta variedad hace 20 años. En 2001, en mi pueblo, mi padre y sus amigos cultivaban una marihuana a la que llamaban "Madre", hacían crecer plantas de hasta 4 metros de alto y otros tantos de ancho, verdaderos monstruos del cultivo de guerrilla en las montañas del levante español. Cuando, con 18 años la probé, supe que era algo realmente especial, era una época en la que los viajes a Ámsterdam eran habituales y de vez en cuando algún amigo traía alguna muestra de lo mejor que encontraba; pues bien, siempre decíamos que si esta "Madre" estuviese en los coffee shops Holandeses podría competir y desbancar a muchos mitos de aquella época. Cuando le pedí a José, uno de los amigos de mi padre que mantenía la especie, que me explicase más sobre esta variedad me decía que sólo me la podía pasar en esqueje, ya que no habían estabilizado la cepa y las semillas tenían fenotipos muy variopintos. Estuve 2 años pudiendo cultivar dicho esqueje (hoy en día conocido como el Clon Mario), con muy buenos resultados, pero con 18 años mis habilidades como cultivador eran escasas, mi conocimiento sobre esquejado y mantenimiento de madres era nulo y acabé perdiendo aquel clon, posteriormente y por redadas policiales en aquellas montañas todo aquel que mantenía durante años esta genética acabo perdiéndola, conservando semillas que nunca llegaron al nivel de la cepa original. Hasta que Mario Bellandi, creador de la variedad, y su banco de semillas Delicatessen Seeds consiguieron estabilizarla mediante semillas regulares y feminizadas. En 2014 compré un paquete de semillas feminizadas y el resultado fue más que bueno, recordando sin duda a aquella joya ancestral pero sin llegar al nivel del Clon original. Esta vez cultivé la Reina Madre partiendo de 3 semillas regulares y el resultado creo que ha sido aún más próximo al original, lo cual es todo un éxito para mí. Una de las 3 semillas murió antes de llegar a la madurez y las otras dos resultaron ser dos hembras, muy parecidas entre sí. Una la puse en maceta de 50L y la otra en maceta de 20L. Las plantas crecieron sin ningún problema excepto alguna carencia que presentó antes de tiempo, especialmente de nitrógeno. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable, aunque el resultado final me deja muy satisfecho. Además, el hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta que se desarrolló en una maceta de 20L ha producido 120g de cogollos secos, esponjosos, espigados y con una relación flores/hojas bastante buena. La planta que puse en maceta de 50L sufrió la podredumbre del tronco principal y tuve que cortarla antes de tiempo, desechando buena parte de la producción, aun así he obtenido de ella 80g de rica yerba old school. El olor de las flores húmedas era bastante intenso y con matices cítricos y especiados. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, ni tampoco de botrytis , por lo que la pastilla de Micorrizas y Trichodermas ha funcionado a la perfección, no sólo reforzando el sistema radicular sino también frente a los hongos invasores. El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. Quiero agradecer a Growdiaries.com la herramienta que nos brinda a los cultivadores (en mi caso cultivador clandestino) para poder realizar el seguimiento de nuestros cultivos y como, en mi caso particular, ha hecho que mi motivación y trabajo hayan sido una constante semana tras semana, por lo que ha influido directamente en el buen resultado final de la cosecha. 5/12/21 Week 1 of flower 10 of life. Checked fluids 6.01ph, and 390tds. Plant seems ok were I split stem. Will give dose of recharge later this evening. Now on a 12/12 cycle. The watering volume per hour is not letting me go over 2.6 gallons per day. My pump is recirculating water at 200 gallons/hr it runs 15 minutes 2x day. So 50 gallons 2x day or 100 gallons per day. 5/13/21 will start foliar feeding tonight at lights out. Using TPS Canopy boost. Will use for 3 weeks every 3-4 days. Changed water to bloom nutrients. Ph 6.01 tds 710. 5/15/21 ph 6.18 tds 570. Will get dose of recharge this evening. Plants leaves are almost touching side to side in tent. 5/16/21 added water (4 gallons) can't believe she went through that much in 3 days. Ph 5.85 tds 689. Will get a foliar feeding tonight at lights out. 5/18/21 changed nutrients water. PH 5.96 TDS 680. Leaves of plant are now touching all 4 walls of 4x4 tent.
