I am harvesting Critical x Animal cookies today. She was stunned in the beginning due to a error on my part with a solution that was too strong. Plus she went through a week of neem oil treatments in vegging when I had a outbreak of 2 different mites in my garden. So everything got treated then. When she was growing right she grew great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. So she is comming down today. Her number is being called on the cannatrol. Plus she is ready. I will at least get a good little sample of this bud from this grow. It looks really good. Switched the plants to flower this week and have noticed tons of growth since. Both plants have turned out to be female and are both producing pistils. Have run into a potential problem while defoliating I noticed a couple leaves on one stem that look like they were burnt almost. They weren’t bad but I haven’t noticed it anywhere else. I looked over a lot of the leaves with a healers loupe under 60x magnification and didn’t notice and insects, the leaves were also growing into the side of the tent so that might be what cause it but not too sure.

Fo' Twenny here! Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 16 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! We have 18 strains running with 2 regular strains, I want to be sure we can fill up the whole SOG. 9/7 - Just to recap last week. 9/5 I transplanted from the 16 oz solo cups into a one gallon 8" tall Active Aqua 6" x 6" Square Pots. Today, I topped and defoliated. Everything is looking good, now just waiting for them to bounce back. Hoping to be ready for flower within next week or two. This is my first run using a modified SOG method, and not sure how long it will take for them to be ready. Ideally I'd like each main growing shoot to be about 12" or so before sending to 12/12. BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

Been flushing from day 70 (7 days) some nice purple and red showing as the plant uses its reserves up , I will chop tomorrow at 78 days of flower .

These girls are now entering full bloom and are just beasting! The size of the buds now will tell how big and dense they will be at the end. From here on in they will power thorough to finish.

Last and finally feed before I haverst her. Can not wait to see how the dry and cure goes. Peace

Esa familia, a que pintan fenómeno estas skunks?. Es que Zambeza hizo un gran trabajo con esta variedad, es una cepa que es bastante rápida en floración, crece muy bien en su etapa de crecimiento, y sobretodo es aparte de típica, muy sencilla de cultivar. De mis favoritas hasta ahora para indoor, como siempre, controlamos el ph y la humedad (siempre dentro de los parámetros correctos establecidos). La semana que viene nos vemos con más avances , un saludo.

Day 98 and its the end of the grow. 1st I'm going say thanks to @fastbuds for the seeds, very much appreciated. This week I flushed until my EC was close to my waters EC which took 4 days. On day 97 I gave all 4 the chop. So they been drying for 24hr so far, i haven't done any trimming yet just left them with plenty of leaves on, hopefully they should take a week to dry, I'll prob do some trimming during that period. The only plant that could have done with some more time in tent was the lemon pie, maybe she needed another 5 days or so to finish swelling up. As far as the grow went it wasn't bad, hit some problems, mainly temps outside being so damn cold near the beginning that I was struggling getting temps up. Also I cut out using hydroguard to early and the roots started to suffer. I'll put harvests of all 4 plants when they have been dried and cured for a least a week most likely 2. Hopefully by then I'll have got my jobs needed doing on the house and can start all over again, not sure what seeds I'm going to get yet, if anyone has any autoflower recommendations shout them out. The buds are getting bigger everyday and are spread very nicely. This strain is growing very well so far and should be great smoke
