gr3g4l Hello to the whole world. Back again with a new update on my humble outdoor grow. After the summer solstice. Seeds in osmosis water for 46 hours, then between napkins for about 29 more hours and into the substrate, a light-mix substrate. Second was to carefully bury the seeds in the substrate and put everything under some 150W 4000K fluorescent lights for 18/6 hours. Before moving them outside, I like to keep them indoors for a few days, not too many, between 15-20 days. I like them to come out and see the world with a bit of maturity.

gr3g4l first week of life, they stay under 150W until they grow a bit, then they will go outside. The first choice of seedlings was to get rid of number 3, it was struggling a lot, too much. Finally, the decision was made and the 2 chosen ones, number 1 and number 4 for this follow-up, were transplanted into a 2.5L fabric pot with reused lightmix substrate from Atami.

gr3g4l This week, after many years, we changed our growth light. Until now, I was using the typical 150W fluorescents, and it was about time. I switched to a 100W MarsHydro LED panel with a warmer light. Goodbye to the fluorescents that have accompanied me for so many years and brought me so much joy. I will miss them, or maybe not.

gr3g4l This week I took it as a plant acclimatization period. They were taken out of the indoor setup for a few hours each day in the shade to get used to it. I also had to prepare the recycled substrate from the previous grow, same season, same year. I harvested some Autos and reused that same substrate which I cleaned of roots (as much as possible). Just a reminder that these Amnesias go outside after more than 28 days from the summer solstice.

Total 26-27 dias.

gr3g4l They kept growing. A foliar application with TopMass Amorphous Silica 30% benefits the plant in terms of biomass growth, strengthens cell walls generating resistance to biotic and abiotic factors. Additionally, it improves the chemical and biological properties of the soil, enhances nutrient assimilation, and its translocation within the plant. That same day it rained at night, so the next day I added 1ml/L to the watering. The pH of this watering exceeded 9.5 pH. That's crazy. xd A very hot week.

gr3g4l This week I added some TopMass silica to the watering, last week I did it foliar but that same night it rained and it probably didn’t help at all, so this week I added it to the watering. 1ml/l and the pH went up to 9.5 pH. If it’s not something I do regularly with each watering, the substrate balances it out and the plants don’t notice much. Generally, I usually water between 6.5 and 7.5 pH. Seeing the thrip bites, I had no choice but to start with the preventatives, better to prevent than to cure.

gr3g4l The week started by putting up stakes to support the branches. After 44 days of life, they still haven't shown any pistils. 22 days under LED in a 2.5L pot + 22 days outside in a 40L pot. By the end of the week, at 49 days, they seem to show some signs of an upcoming flowering.

gr3g4l Since we are already in mid-August and it seems like they want to start flowering, I'm going to start this week with the bloom. Half bloom, half grow. 51d new preventive treatment with TD + Solabiol, Foliar. Once the treatment is done to prevent the rain from cleaning the plant, I usually put them under cover. As soon as it stops raining, I take them back out. Day 54, 126 cm for number 1 and 102 cm for number 4, and there's clear evidence that the good stuff is starting now. As can be seen, the branches have widened, they have grown noticeably, and they are starting to clearly show their first pistils.

gr3g4l These last two weeks have been growing noticeably, and it was time to do something. During this second week of flowering, I prepared the structure to later tie all the branches without much difficulty. A central stake was also added to keep the plant nice and straight and to support the apical bud well in the future. As of day 60, I would say they stopped growing in height like they had been these last few days; this week we won't reach an additional 20 cm. However, they have been widening a bit more, and the lower branches are already measuring up. We also observed the beginning of bud formation without a doubt. At 63 days, Plant No. 1 is 156 cm tall, and Plant No. 4 is 133 cm tall. Once again, we applied Plant Vitaly Plus via foliar at 50ml/L for the last time.

gr3g4l Rainy week, and when it rains, I keep them sheltered, which helps me manage the watering better. Letting them get wet with rainwater really messes up their feeding and cleans the preventive on the leaves. At 70 days, number 1 is 166 cm tall, and number 4 is 138 cm. They continue to bloom at a good pace, and they're still growing as well. They're in full bloom and starting to shed the older leaves. Lower parts.

gr3g4l This week starts sunny and ends cloudy. It seems that they have stopped growing, 172 cm for number 1 and 152 cm for number 4. From now on, they should be the buds that will start to fatten up. This week we start with the Bud to try to boost the buds a little more.

gr3g4l A pretty calm week. No bugs or worrying deficiencies, everything in order. That's how the week started, yeah, nothing was seen until... And that's how it ends with all my hopes. Given what I've seen, I won't risk losing much more, and even though they still have about 15-20 days left, I'm going to cut. I'd rather have crystalline trichomes and a small amount than have to get rid of half of it due to botrytis.

gr3g4l This week starts with a good substrate wash, hosing it down until the water runs clear, and once the excess is drained, I added 10L/plant of osmosis water to finish flushing it out. The new tenants have their days numbered. They can start looking for other plants to occupy.

gr3g4l To wrap up this follow-up, I just want to say that it was a pretty premature end; cutting early resulted in a noticeable decrease in yield and the inability to know what it could have been. Now, after a few months of curing, I'm still smoking it and I'm happy with what I have, I like it. I have no doubt that I would recommend it and I will grow it again in the future.
