Hello Diary, We have reached the end of the third week of vegetation, which is also the beginning of flowering. As you can see in the photos, the flowers started to form, which is usual for automatics after 3 weeks of vegetation. For now, everything is fine, the plant is developing nicely, getting a lot of new leaves. In terms of height, she did not grow much, only 22.5 cm in three weeks, I doubt that she will grow much now. I started to feel a slight smell, which also makes me happy :). At "Farm" she is the shortest, her roommates are much taller than her. This week I also did minimal defoliation, I removed only the lowest leaves to make watering easier. When it comes to watering, it is not frequent, about every 4 days. This week I added one tablet of Easy grow booster. The conditions on the Farm are excellent I would say, the temperature is around 26 degrees while the humidity is around 50%. Here's how it looked this week. 16/05/2023 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and added one Easy Grow tablet and with that amount of water I watered all three plants equally. 19/05/2023 - Day 20. First, I did a minimal defoliation, removing only the bottom leaves to make watering easier and improve air flow through the plant a bit. After that I watered all three plants. 20/05/2023 - Day 21. This ones doing good its getting a slow flush since it could still use a little longer. Nice fat buds on her though gunna see how the final product is before I decide if I will run it again. Started the flush on most of these last week. Everything has been steady all around. Going to start taking them down a few at a time over the next week or 2 some will go longer than others so they'll come down 3 or 4 at a time. I have been checking them every other day now and this is the week they'll be 'going dark' before I chop and hang them to dry. 12/5- I'm continuing to flush all three with 2g of straight well water with NPK Yucca Extract added, which I then ph to 6.5 @ 68℉, twice daily for a total of 4g each day. The two purple pheno's are just breathtaking in looks and their aroma's! The #2 plant is a beautiful cultivar as well, just not purple, with several huge cola's having formed due to her being topped! 12/7- Today at 'lights out' I placed all three Tropicana Cookies in the dark for 72hrs. I moved them to a dedicated room that is totally dark and which I can keep control of the temperature, humidity and air circulation (same room I use for drying). For the 72hr dark period I keep the temp's between 60-65℉ at a RH of 40-45% with decent air circulation. 12/11- Today, all three of the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies were released from 'Dark Jail'. I actually let them go an additional day, for a total of 96hrs in the dark, and from the looks of them it didn't hurt them one bit! All three look absolutely fantastic and the aroma coming off of them is just incredible! 🤪🔥 Every plant is heavily frosted up and all have tightly stacked, dense flowers. After chopping, I'm going to hang each of them whole to try to extend their drying time as much as possible. My dedicated 'Drying Room' has no outside light and is maintained at 58-60℉ with a RH of 50-60%. I use a de-humidifier, humidifier and two fans in the room. One fan is for air circulation, the other brings in cold outside air and the humidifier/de-humidifier handle the RH. I'm shooting for a 10-12 day dry, but that can always change because we all know 'shit happens'! 😁 My next diary entry will be after these fine ladies are done drying, get trimmed up, weighed and jarred. 11-29 Bad news, Banana Purple Punch has been let go. 😭 She was very stunted and tiny, so I made the bold decision to call it. Thought about letting her finish, but she was really small. But Strawberry cheesecake is making up for it!. This thing seems super happy atm! She has jumped to around 12 inches. Stretch is officially on! Triple grape is rockin too, few flimsy leafs, bud branches. One of the branches, kinda twisted itself. Imma look into that one. But both rockin and lovin the EM1. More importantly than the rest! I still haven't over watered or fed. 😁💪 Time will tell, but I'm staying the course! Happy Holidays 😁🤘 12-1 2k water, silica 3ml, cal/mag 3ml, drops balance 1ml and some dust of yucca. 6.2 Stripped GC of anything blocking anything else . Couple blocked bud sites too. Wont touch for at least 3 days. Maybe 4, we will say next water? She may be a bit stressed 😂 Im sure the stripping didnt help. 💪🤘 3x- 11.5 inches tall Scc- 12.5 in tall . .

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. It's like she already knows it's flowering time. Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

The purple kush has been the smallest seedling from the start. It has finally started to actually grow for like 2 weeks or so it looked exactly the same but it’s on its way This past week was smooth sailing I topped all the plants

I saw a fly in the tent about 10 days ago. The larvae of these flies feed on the roots of the plant. I first watered it with diluted hydrogen peroxide. then i flushed. now the ladies are fine. 🤓🌱🤓👍👍

6/28/25 Transplanted into 3 gallon pot amended with dr earth 463 at 10 ml per gallon of soil and a couple handfuls of homemade worm castings. added mykos to the transplant hole for the roots. The roots on the black opium look really really nice and

This week I defoliated the Honey Melon Haze and the O.G. Kush. It's the first time I try this. The broken stem of the O.G. Kush seems to grow pretty well so far. Nice! Humidity goes from 50-55% during the day to 80% after the night without dehumidifier (too noisy during the night). I poor 2l of tap water during each watering for the 26l pots and 1l for the 10l pot. The two Mandarin Punch Auto grew a lot this week, the stretch has surely started! They are now even taller then the Honey Melon Haze and the O.G. Kush. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 50cm O.G. Kush : 44cm Mandarin Punch #1 : 54cm Mandarin Punch #2 : 52cm Tomorrow, I will switch to 12h of light to start the stretch of the two photoperiod plants.

Comenzamos esta aventura el dia 1 Agosto 2024. Hidratare por 24 hrs en vaso de agua con agua oxigenada, posteriormente pasaremos a servilleta y dejaremos se 24 a 48 hrs para pasar a maceta. Lunes 5 de Agosto hacemos trasplante a maceta definitiva.

Cured for 1 month, nice trichomas covering, smell good, nice THC level (not for beginners), easy to grow, long cycle, needs long term veg time.

Day 70 - She grew 4cm this week. Her flowers are not as developed as any of her tent mates, looks like she's going to take her time flowering. That's ok. I'm happy to wait 😀

Decided to harvest at 10-12% amber. Running out of time and needed to chop her down. Pretty sure I slowed her down from a heavy defol. She was supposed to be done on day 65 based on breeders notes. She took considerably longer for me so the heavy defol is the only thing I can think of. She has sweet gas and grape terp. Very nice heavy dense buds but not as large as I was hoping. Despite the bud size I think it will be some good smoke. I’ll update with dried and cured bud pics. Buds are very dense after dry and cure!

This plant remained the smallest compared to the others. I wanted to grow it outdoors, but in the first month and a half there was really too little sun, so I decided to put it in the room with the others. It recovered well, it didn't grow much but despite everything I am satisfied with how it started. I will definitely try this variety again, starting directly in the room.

VEG WEEK 10 My Base Nutrient Inputs: See VEG WEEK 6 for details of stock solutions A & B. My grow weeks run from Monday to Sunday. This week the goal was to let the girls grow, space the tops around the trellis, and attach each stem to the outside of this structure. Tuesday - Watering Day - 1 gallon each as described above. Friday - Watering Day - The pots are very light. Laverne is quite thirsty in pic # 10 - 2 gallons each as described above. Friday - Pruning Day - Pinched out all the new grow at each fan leaf. The goal is a single stalk with no side branching. Also removed some lower Fan leaves and a few select others. Unfortunately, Laverne lost a top. Not sure how, but I snapped it😡, and it dangled by a little of the outer stem tissue. I quickly reached for some tape to administer first-aid, which has worked for me in the past. Sadly, a few days later, it was evident (pic # 16), she wasn't going to make it. Sunday - Training and Trim Day - Laverne is now down to 11 tops and my plants symmetry is shattered. I pushed the broken limb aside, to make room to realign the neighboring branches. I'm leaving this broken branch on the plant for now (pic #17), in an attempt to keep the other branch, on the same main stalk from dominating the plant. The remaining branch (pic #18&19) is already growing much faster and needed some serious twisting to bring it to the level of the rest of the plant. I managed to get Laverne symmetrical again, and leveled out the tops with some wire work. Shirley was also wired down to a symmetrical, level canopy, without any drama. Laverne is now 10 inches tall, and Shirley is 12 inches. It seems I named them backwards, lol. Laverne received a 2 inch booster seat under her pot to bring her canopy level with her buddy. Their canopy tops are 30 inches from the Electric Sky ES 300 V1 light. Shirley has shown herself to be a female (pic #24), while Laverne has not shown sex (no concern, as these seeds I made should be feminized). I see some tip burn, and need to dial back my nutrients a tad. I also am working on eliminating the purple on the top side of the petioles (not too worried about it as the plant is growing and appears healthy otherwise). My base nutrients contain calcium and magnesium, plus I add Cal-Mag +, so not sure why. It is funny that the purple is only on the top side of the petioles, and makes me wonder if this is caused somehow by LED lighting. If anyone knows, please share😀. I plan on another week, maybe two, of vegetative growth. The mother(s), that I made these seeds from only stretched about 12-14 inches. I'll flip to 12/12 light schedule when the stems reach the height of the top of the trellis. With the stems supported, and some luck, these girls, will be set-up for smooth flowering.
