She's doing ok but all the leaves tips are curling including the small est ones and sugar leaves. I'm hoping she survives and does better than the first one. She also has mites I'm in a battle with. I'm going to do a whole tent clean down after she's done.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be here in around two weeks +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this Ten Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 70 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder and will probably go in the dark later this coming week, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. I gave up on her. She it one big fixtail. No trichomes, no resinbg, no smell, no stickiness, leaves almost all gone - no point in waiting. Into the trashcan she goes. Farewell. But she did yileld beautifully. It's just shit product.

21th.05.2025. Day 21 Moved the two survivors into 2x2. The roots are getting big. I need to put them in final bucket soon.

Fimming was a success! 3+ main branches on each lady now. Crazy seeing how fast they respond to this type of treatment. The nutrients in the soil have likely run out by now so I am started to feed using the Fox Farms trio at half strength every other watering.

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. Low stress training was a good choice with these, we planted the 6gal Amnisa closer to the edge to allow us to grow her horizontal across the entire pot.. we also topped her this week, we've been doing this a lot lately with plants we train this way, it makes a forked end with 2 large buds 🤘🐱..the bottom growth has caught up with the rest and she's starting to fill out.. we cut nutrients this week, everyone in the tent has been on the same schedule but were starting to get a little too dark, we'll go back to our normal routine next week if color improves. I think we're going to make the 6 gallon Amnisa the focus of this diary..we have 3 plants and they all look identical..node spacing, leaf shape, size etc..we're going to veg the 6gal Amnisa for several more weeks but we're flowering the rest ASAP! 🤘🐱 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well week 9 was fun 😏. I moved this fine lady into a 10 gallon pot. She will likely stay in it until sometime in July. It’s my custom organic Super Soil mix. It should keep her happy in a 10 gallon pot for a while! I will be cleaning up more growth in the coming week. I topped her a couple of days ago so she is at the point where I have 8 tops now, well once I clean up the lower growth. I am aiming for 32 at this point in the game. I hope this enables me to slow her down a bit and control her growth as she can double when she goes into flower. I have been making sure to treat her with Method 1 PPS (plant prevention spray) once a week. This keeps Andy would be moulds and pests the F off my girls! Onward..... 😎🍿

:( she is still growing pretty slow but i am hoping she catches her self, I've fix all the issues, I brought the humidity up as it was like 40rh lol and dim my light a bit down to 260par waiting for her to catch her self the soil is a bit hot as well as wet as she haven't been drinking much there is guano ect in the soil..
