All plants are down! I am stoked with how the grow went and this strain has performed well. Terps are out of this world - candy - jelly babies, sour worms, Fanta grape and bubblegum stinking up the room. Some pheno's are more forsty then others but it seems we have found a couple keepers to re-test. Next post will be nug shots, weight once all dry. We will also do full cannabinoid testing to determine the potency of some of the phenos which we think are worth testing. Look out for that! Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

In a 1m x 1m tent, Lumii 315w , (using marshydro SP150 in flower stage), secret Jardin fan, carbon filter, intake fan 5”, humidifier. So out of the four seeds popped last week three where successful in rooting. Added a sprinkle of great white shark to help with root stimulation and just water. Root are starting to show on the side of the cup so almost time to transplant to bigger pots (moving into fabric pots) Transplanted in to fabric 20l pots with feeding powder at a low dosage. But unfortunately one transplant didn’t go to plan and part of the tap root snapped (but not going to give up on her yet) 1L of water in cups 4L of water in fabric pots 20L 33g bio grow

I stressed this lady out early accidentally , she bounced back as best as I permitted room for . She bared with me all the way until the end throughout this entire learning cycle . I’m deeply appreciative for the ease of grow & level of bounce back she had . It was the most impressive grow but it didn’t require rocket science to grow this either

I feel sorry for my plans this 2 weeks I haven't been able to look after them properly I've been working long shift with Christmas approaching there's no time for anything so I was pushing in a lot of nutrients into them and I caused a nutrients lockout .I have flush them out with just clean water at the right pH 6.5 and they are responding very well from now on I will continue to Baby them so they gave the best result possible within the circumstances of the plants. Mine stretched pretty severely and never recovered so I pulled it. My dads seems to be doing very well though! A bit overwatered but 🤷‍♂️🏼

So I was very impressed with the yield for my first grow What did I learn? so I Learned the importance of LST and staying o top of it, also the importance of not letting the medium dry all the way out because it will cause Ph fluctuations. another mistake I made was that I did not switch the nutes from veg to flower, so they were not getting everything they needed at the times they needed them. The last thing is lighting, I had 1 1000w blurple led light (and that was for a 4by4) and I finally got another 1000w at about week 9 to properly fill out the tent, so I'm excited to see what I can do with both lights and next grow. I also only used GH 3 part nutes and cal mag, it did great, but I'm planning on adding in a few things next grow so stay tuned. Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. Such a pleasure to grow her, she came from an auto m8 and she ended up being Photoperiod, apart from that I'm glad I've discovered her, because her buds have one of the most special and sweetest fragrance I've ever smelled in a cannabis flower, super sweet and tropical guys, such a cool strain, I definitely want to fill a lot of jars of this for my personal stash, everytime I smell her flowers makes me remember the Caribbean Islands.

Day 36- 20/6 General: She keeps growing at a very nice pace, flowering stage just started. Today I cut a good amount of foliage, and accidentally broken a nice branch while training her. It broke in a place I couldn't really 'cast it' so I had to let it go. I'm so sad, it was the first time ever. After some very hot days, now came rain, and an exponential increase of RH. Turned off the humidifier for now and still have peaks of 60% with light off and ventilation full on. But RH outside is 95%, so it's hard to do much better for now. Techniques: Training day, moved a little the stems and broke one in the very bottom, so had to discard it. Took some foliage away to get more light in it. Feeding: Fastening day Smell: She's still the queen of the tent when it comes to this topic, no doubts about it. Temps and RH recorded today: 26c - 20c 60% - 39% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 37- 21/6 General: She's gettin really taller this last days. Up is the way! Need to do a little more training tomorrow or the day after to make sure all the plant gets the same amount of light. Put the seed in a Paper towel and in a Tupperware. Put the Tupperware in tent ON TOP of the lamp. They popped after 15 hours! Super fast. Ladies and Gentleman LET'S GROW! 🤙🏽
