Day 65 - On cruise control, until harvest! I gave her another light defoliation, there wasn't a lot of leaf that was blocking, or bothering me this time :) Added dry koolbloom to the feed at a dosage of 3.125 grams for 2.5 gallons. She's being watered with 2.5 gallons dosage of the above listed nutes, and the runoff is removed with a shop-vac. She drys out in 5 days, and is then ready for another dosage!

Week 12 in the garden, and it's time for some serious plant pampering! The ladies got a trimming fit for royalty, and even a leafy lollipop treat – because who says plants can't enjoy a little sweetness in their lives? With the flipping of the plants just around the corner, it's like the calm before the botanical storm. I can almost hear the plants whispering among themselves, "Get ready, folks, it's about to get real in here!" As I prepare for the flip next week, I can't help but marvel at how far my green companions have come. From tiny seeds to leafy giants, it's been a journey filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of growth. So, here's to Week 12 – a week of trimming, lollipops, and anticipation for the flip. Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

And another week has passed, they are bigger but didn't do the growing I expected them to do. I think something stressed them for a couple of days, where the XL Runtz took the stressing factors a bit better. I'm trying to find out what it could have been and preventatively softened the light, lowered temps and it seemed to recover. Maybe I pushed the SP-3000 by Mars Hydro a bit too hard... We also had some white pointy bits... With a lot of trust in this growing method, after the previous grows, and the plants look overall happy I'm not too worried. The soil will balance out if just don't push the lights too hard. It's a matter of adjusting and finding sweet spots and limits. So I started bending a little and this week will bend over the tops, to further the LST which is about the only thing ill do and maybe some defoliation after 3rd week of flower.... Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

Yo what's up growmies. smooth sailing, no more leaks have sprung, the buckets have been recirculating nicely, it seems as if my mad idea to turn my DWC into an undercurrent RDWC mid flower wasn't so mad after all! the plant bucket is as good as off limits now, its a whole lot of noodle, the roots in it have swallowed my InkBird Probe, which has been kept at a cool 19 degrees steadily. I'm happy i have an easy access bucket now, though, i noticed that if i do not aerate the reservoir, black smuts starts collecting on the bottom, so I put in some better air stones and we are good now. As for the plant; after starting green sensation these things have become incredibly sticky and smelly, I still cannot place the smell! i like it a lot once i'm acclimated to it, but when first opening the tent it attacks your sniffer quite violently, this is not a stealthy strain, she is resinous and loud. I think I am happy with my training and how she turned out with a few exceptions, next time, I'm growing following a guide, like Nebula Haze, whilst taking clones. I know this is week 6 of flower, but honestly its more like week 3 or 4 of actual flower, hence why i waited so long to add PK to the mix, this girl took a while to hit puberty and start flower production after flipping to 12-12, Im not sure if its the strain, a fuck up on my part, or just nature being nature, she did seem to stretch after flipping and before starting flowers, so I'm going to guess it's one of those Sativa quirks where it all just seems to take...a.....little.......longer. which is I will also set up a veg tent, sick of waiting for flowers! gotta keep that perpetual grow going, you know how it be. Day 22, 11th of October 2021: Here we go 1st day of the 4th week. I knew, and as we know Afghani Gold and Spliffs Strawberry are one week younger but they pickin' up quick so soon it can not be seen. Anyways all good yes they grew a lot. CBD Medi Kush is amazing I fimmed a bit by accident of the top "head" no problem at all and again continued with LST. She is a beast. Blue Berry seems to be a bit "pale" let's say light but apart from that she is more than okay. LST is done on her too... Afghani Gold I just love her chunky indica comin' I can see the leaves lol. She received her first LST as well. Spliffs Strawberry is alright as well so I am happy. Actually, not much has changed since last week I just set the lamp back to 125W so approx 40% of the max and the water intake is more a bit so: Lamp is set to be on 125W approx 40% of the full power..... Humidity stays on approx 60% Ventilation switches on in every 2 hours for 5 min.... Watering like 0.08l per day.... Fertilization also with Bat Guano, Biobizz family - BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax... so these ones 2x a week.... Epsom salt.... 1x a week.... Ratio can be found above. So that's all basically. Day 48 - defoliation rotate plants and fed with 1.5l each @6.5 ph Day 51 - more defoliation , rotated plants again and gave 1.5l @6ph full week 2 nutes Day 53 - doing some testing here I again gave another full nutes with this feeding to see when it starts showing some nute burn. gave each plant 1.5l each full week 2 nutes @5.8ph

Hi it is the fourth week it grows well with short internodes, it supports high temperatures well. Soon I will transplant it into a bigger pot and practice the LST. Wish you all a nice day 🌳😎
