This week the flowers really started to bulk up. I was worried about having very loose buds as the development starts off very slow but eventually they really bulk up nicely!! The topped plant is about 2 weeks behind in flower but has way more main collas! Check the last video for both plants

Start of week 2. Everything seems to be ok. The bottom left and right seem to have taken the lead. I switched the two biggest plants into the center. And raised the pots off the ground to help with airflow and temps. Plants are doing good. Two centers are taking the lead. Using RO water. Currently watering when top two inches are dry.

May4: nice spring day so plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but also protected in small greenhouse. Light watering with some nutrients. I’m using Monster Maxx this year. I used a free sample of it last year making compost teas and it seemed to work great. Early to use any nutes but I think it is okay. This stuff has regular N fertilizer (nitrate, urea, and ammonia) but also two bacteria strains that have been shown to work. I was looking at last year’s roots today and they are the densest and most intricate I’ve seen, so I think this stuff works as advertised. Will still use compost teas later this season but for now this should do fine. Prepped most of the soil. Cannabis gets the Grade A+ soil, and tomatoes and peppers get last years cannabis soil and some fresh compost. May 9: weather is great so decided to transplant into the final container. Culled second seedling that was slower and had asymmetrical leaves. May 10: still misting leaves to provide moisture. So far so good.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Under the ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs, they’re thriving, leaves praying upward, soaking in that optimized spectrum. 💡 ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs – Why They Work • PPFD of ~400 µmol/m²/s at their level, running only on Channel One • Full-spectrum lighting tailored for optimal vegetative growth • Passive cooling design, keeping temps stable while saving energy Environmental Conditions (Measured on the TrolMaster Tent-X and the AMP-3) • Temp Max: 26.6°C | Min: 16.2°C • RH Max: 77% | Min: 52% • VPD Max: 1.65 kPa | Min: 0.43 kPa • Solution pH: 5.8 • EC: 0.96 • Water Temp: 16.3°C Why These Numbers Matter: • Keeping VPD in check ensures efficient nutrient uptake • pH and EC levels fine-tuned for maximum root absorption • Water temp stable to avoid root shock and slow growth Autopot System Prep – Getting Ready for the Next Phase The week wraps up with us cleaning and preparing the Autopots for their next phase. These self-watering systems will allow the Runtz girls to access water and nutrients at their own pace, optimizing growth as we head into pre-flower soon! Absolutely amazed by this genetic. Grew flawlessly and stacked some serious nugs. She ended up purping nicely and had reds and pinks as well. I've never grown something so greasy and the 👃 it's absolutely amazing!!! It's a very sour pine with a peppery lemon aroma.

So about 2 weeks in, things are really starting to go. Both plants are looking healthy albeit a little light streched, lowered the lights a bit and fixed it.... I put in the Royal Queen Northern Lights Auto, upped the humidity with a little help from a crappy humidifier (it actually broke due to calcium blockage after 2 weeks because I was stupid and forgot to fill it with distilled water instea of tap water....) At the end of week 2 the new NL seed showed herself to the world.... YAY!

Stretchy to first node- maybe it needs constant flowering light distance? Slower to grow than other Bruce banner. No issues. Smooth sailing

Grandaddy Purple is also ready for flower, shape came along perfect thanks to the defoliation of fan leaves, now the lowers caught up and we are ready to produce some nice flowers. Super healthy plant, excited to see what she will produce !

Little stress from the scrog and not drinking as fast as normal. They will come around I’m sure. Gave them a second top dressing after about two weeks. A little more feeding than what is recommended plus the liquid kelp, calmag, Herculean harvest, and recharge. Just making sure they are loaded with enough N to get thru stretch and early flower. At least that is the logic. Considering it may take weeks to break down some of the Gai Green 444 all purpose but it’s all you can do!

4/28/21 week 7 of veg 8 of life. Plant is getting to be a beast. Last week ended up topping more then I planned, and from the looks of things I will probably top at least one more time. I am going to up the nutrients to 550 ppm this week. I am also planning on giving recharge 2x per week. I am increasing irrigation to 4 gallons per. She is drinking about a gallon every 2.5 days. 4/29/21 gave final trim under canopy before flower cycle. Plant looks like a table 😃 4/30/21 I topped 4 more spots to keep my canopy even. I harvested my Super Skunk (you really need to try this strain) so now big Oggie has her own tent. For now she is under 1200w Growstar (250w actual) LED. She looks like she will engulf my tent. 5/1/21 gave 2 quarts recharge 5/2/21 backed nutrients down to 450ppm plant showing a little nute burn on a leaf. 5/3/21 set up self irrigating system. 8 gallons (holds max 14 gallons) water ph 6.01. With nutrients at 470ppm. Plant is now irrigating itself 2x per day 15 minutes each watering. Will be doing daily checks on ph/nutrients.

Things have been pretty much hands off since flipping to flower. They haven't even been wanting water lately. Which is weird cause they usually start to drink a lot more during the first few weeks of flower especially during the stretching phase. But they're all still really happy and healthy! They're also due for a feeding too. It's been about 24 days since the last feeding. Which was the 50/50 ratio of Gaia Green's All Purpose and power bloom. They got that during the their transplanting 24 days ago. But I'm going to hold off on feeding because they're all still looking like they have enough food. Still really healthy and dark green. And the very tips of the leaves are still yellowing. Which means they don't need anymore food.

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

So the final day has come. Day 115. Wow she took 4 months! I struggled a little bit with cutting her, I had to do it with a handsaw. She is a chunky girl! I partially trimmed the plant, mostly removing any fan leaf left and any big leaf without trichomes on them. I consider this more of a pre-cleaning and not a real trimming. That will be done after the plant has dried in about 2 weeks It was quite nice to document my grow. This was my 3rd one ever. I will continue with the grows and journaling because it really makes things sound clearer in my head.

Hi everyone, I transplanted the lady into a bigger pot before her last transplant for early August. I added mycorrhizae and I pinched the stems to control the height. She looks very happy .it resists very well to very high temperatures. 38 degrees in the shade in the middle of the afternoon.

Did some lst on one of the taller main colas because I started 2 more and needed the smaller light for them. I turned my 150w Marshydro the way it normally goes so it can cover both plants and tried to get an even top canopy for both plants to get the most out of the lamp. I think the 1 is gorilla zkittlez I was thinking stardawg at first but the leaves are very similar to the gorillaz. I keep worrying about giving higher doses of nutrients because it looks like I burned them a little bit feeding twice in 1 week. It’s hard to tell the difference between defeciency and burn sometimes which is making me want to switch to organic lol. The leafy one is starting to bud finally it seemed like even after pre flower was in full bloom it was still pushing out too many Leaves and almost no trichomes compared to the zkittlez. I’m thinking that one may be an afghan kush or something. It was really woody smelling hazelnut almost and now I’m getting some pine hints now that the buds seem to be getting back on track

Thirteenth Week / 01.08.24 - 07.08.24 Week 13 brings a more autumnal feel to the garden, with all plants except Apollo F1 showing signs of nutrient withdrawal from the leaves. 🌿 Apollo F1 remains lush and green, with no signs of pulling nutrients yet, so I’ll hold off on any changes there as long as the plant looks healthy. 🌱✨ The Cookies Gelatos are maturing nicely, with leaf tips turning a lovely shade of purple, adding to their beauty. 🍁 I’m reducing the nutrient levels as we approach the end of the cycle, watching the plants closely to determine the best harvest time. 🚀 It’s a waiting game now as we let nature take its course.
