the cutting time has arrived!! It's time to taste it, it smells really good, but not at all like the fresh plant, I'm a little disappointed.. after drying and curing, the variety smells like bananas, very ripe yellow fruit, with an earthy and sweet background!! it's very round in the mouth, very sweet and resinous, but there's some rubbish in the taste, on the exhilaration it's a bit acrid.. I missed the drying, the heads are compact but cottony... I will succeed better next time!! see you

# Blueberry Muffin by Zamnesia | Pheno A 🌱? ## Germination Week | A New Chapter Begins Welcome everyone. Before we start, a small explanation. For years I documented multiple plants of the same cultivar inside a single diary. With recent GrowDiaries photo limitations, I decided to change the structure of my documentation moving forward. Instead of grouping multiple phenotypes together, each plant will now receive its own dedicated diary. That means: - Pheno A gets its own journey. - Pheno B gets its own journey. - Individual observations become easier to track. - Phenotype differences become easier to compare. - Documentation becomes cleaner and more detailed. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To document the entire process honestly, openly, and educationally from seed to harvest. The only difference is that now each plant gets to tell its own story. And today, that story begins with Blueberry Muffin Pheno A. --- ## The Beginning Every grow starts with a seed. Tiny. Silent. Full of potential. This run begins with Blueberry Muffin from Zamnesia Seeds, grown under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. As always, the purpose here is not to claim that one method is better than another. It is simply to document what works for me and share the results openly so everyone can draw their own conclusions. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System For germination we used the Cannakan system. The concept is simple but extremely practical. The container is divided into individual chambers, allowing multiple cultivars to be germinated at the same time while keeping everything organized and properly labeled. Each section can be identified individually, reducing confusion when working with multiple genetics simultaneously. The seeds were placed inside using only plain water. Nothing else. No additives. No rooting stimulants. No nutrients. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours the seeds had already produced healthy taproots and were ready for the next step. Fast. Clean. Simple. Exactly what we hope to see during germination. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer is simple. The seed already contains everything required for the first stage of life. Nature prepared that package long before we arrived. The seed carries its own energy reserves and nutritional resources necessary to begin root development and establish itself. At this stage I personally prefer to let the seed do what nature designed it to do. Water is enough. The goal is not to feed the plant. The goal is to wake it up. --- ## First Experiment With Coco Plugs This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs. The plugs were fully saturated with water before use and then lightly squeezed to remove excess moisture. This leaves the media moist while still maintaining oxygen around the developing root system. The germinated seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed under a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a very short time. In less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were ready to continue growing. At that point they were transplanted directly into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environment The early environment was kept intentionally simple. Temperatures remained around 26–27°C. Humidity initially stayed high during germination and then transitioned quickly toward approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. This is a personal preference. Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience during growth. The idea is gradual adaptation rather than prolonged protection. Airflow remains extremely gentle at this stage. Just enough movement to prevent stagnant air without stressing young seedlings. --- ## Heat Mat Temperatures The propagation mat itself was running around 40°C. That number often surprises people. However, the temperature inside the rooting environment is always lower than the heating source itself. The heat source must be warmer than the target root-zone temperature in order to maintain stable conditions. The objective is not to expose the seedlings to 40°C. The objective is to provide enough energy so the rooting environment remains comfortably warm and encourages rapid germination. As always, monitoring and adjustment are important. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination is intentionally soft. Seedlings do not require intense light immediately after emerging. The purpose is simply to encourage healthy development while avoiding unnecessary stress. Once established, these girls will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the real journey begins. PPFD discussions will come later as the plants develop and become capable of utilizing stronger light levels effectively. For now, gentle growth is the objective. --- ## First Observations So far everything has gone exactly as hoped. Fast germination. Healthy taproots. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: Curiosity. Every run teaches something. Every cultivar expresses itself differently. Every phenotype tells its own story. This is only the first chapter. --- ## Looking Ahead Next week we will begin following Blueberry Muffin Pheno A through her first true stages of vegetative growth. We will discuss: - Early development - Root establishment - Initial structure - Environmental parameters - Light intensity - Watering strategy - And whatever surprises she decides to show us Because that is the beauty of growing. No matter how many runs we complete, every seed still carries a little mystery inside. And honestly? That mystery is part of what keeps us coming back. Grower's love everyone. 🌱 Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along as this new chapter begins.

Auto cinderella jack - Amazing week of growth. There are new nodes exploding from everywhere and its not showing signs of slowing down. They are currently loving the organic nutes and have started showing signs of flowering. Auto critical cheese - this plant has shot up recently. It was planted a week later that the ACJ but is growing some seriously fat fan leaves. Should be a nice yeilder. Peanut butter cookies - this girl is looking pretty sorry for herself. I am intentionally trying to keep her as small as possible so that I can get the autos out before flipping into flower but she is gonna be a beast. Will transplant into a final pot in the next day or so.

Top canopy was uneven so supercropped a couple of branches. Top branches are flowering ok but I'm not sure she'll make it too the end, bottom branches looking great. I asked how I can speed up flowering, and I need too cover her for 16 hours a day, can't cover with boxes as rain will destroy the cartoon, don't have a cloth big enough. I'm just gonna wing it, adding some leaves to protect soil from frost, bringing her in when it is forecast to below 6. She'll be flowering until Christmas at this rate :D keeping an eye for hermie

And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright. See you next week and thanks for all the likes and comments. 😍🙌

11/18 12am Monday 4.3 grams Maxi-Bloom & 0.8 Purpinator this week. They are getting tall except Apple. Everything looks good I might take some branches off the back of them today. 2pm Gave all water today just MB 4.8. Used the entire gallon on the plants today. Have to mix up more, takes 2 days to dissolve longer if it's cold. 11/20 Wed. 1am Fatso & Garlic are getting tall had to move the lights, ducting & fans up. Have to wash the hand made intake and exit filters today. the double sided tape and merv 13 do a really nice job. 👍 4am the lights were too close. Should’ve kept them at 96W if I make any changes now it could trigger pollen sacks 11/21 1pm some defoliation on Orion, Changed the filters they were dirty and preventing clean fresh air from circulating properly. 11/22 Friday. Garlic is TALL!!! Apple is filling in finally, I keep forgetting some are 2 weeks behind. The main 4 colas are going to be solid like photos. I have to add some more dirt. Pretty amazing plants. . took an hour to upload. 9am The Seedsman plants. are putting out lots of resin now, Fatso is fat, looks like I will have 4 MASSIVE colas from each plant. I just experimented with jar drying my last harvest and it worked out great. 12pm Just spent lots of time doing LST on Cosmos, I did every branch I could. Hope this works. 11/23 Saturday 1am. Takes a while to upload. Looks good from yesterday. I might have to take off at least 1 of the small inner branches not sure. Dont want to do any more defoliation than I have to it will just slow down the plant if I do. 5am Several of the top leaves on Cosmos are stretching up which means she's happy and healthy the LST training worked she's happy. 1pm Gave everyone water at 11am. Mixed up Maxi-Bloom 4.3 grams & 0.8ml Purpinator balances pH to 6.4.

Hello Diary, White Widow has completed its last week, the journey has come to an end. Two days after the photo shoot, I harvested White Widow along with her roommates. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast, although it has somehow become the standard on my small farm. But I am still fascinated by how quickly the plant goes through its cycle when it has the most ideal conditions. I don't necessarily mean myself, I try to give the plants the best I can and know how. As you can see in the photos, the result is impressive, White Widow turned out to be a real beauty. This phenotype painted White Widow in purple. The flowers are hard and dense, the branches bend under their weight. One branch even broke when I was setting it up for the photo shoot. That purple color gives it a special look. Some of the leaves have taken on autumn colors, which is also one of the signs that it has matured. This week I continued to observe the samples under the microscope, waiting for the trichomes to turn milky. On the day of the photo shoot, which was day 63, most of the trichomes were milky, some even brown. The smell is very intense, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. I barely wash my fingers after examining the plants. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After the photo shoot, she was in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil so that the drying would be more efficient. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying easier and have less work to trim the dried flowers. But also to prevent the formation of potential mold. After cutting, I left her upside down in the grow box to dry. Now I'm waiting for the flowers to dry well and to see how much White Widow has really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so they would be fresh for the photos. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Purple Lemonade began its journey. Photos. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. White Widow has been harvested. That's almost all from me for this diary, the final report that follows after drying and testing remains. Thank you all again for your support and comments.

I am late this week because on the girls' 8 week birthday, they both started looking HORRIBLE, and I was scrambling for a couple days. Looking back, documenting those moments is probably more helpful than just showing pictures of everything going smoothly. I think it might have been a Zinc deficiency, but it all boiled down to poor nutrient, pH, and watering practices. This is my first grow, so the more I learn the better! New leaves were forming brown tips, growth was stunted overall, and the veins on the leaves were becoming very prominent and white. After a day or so, the tips and edges of leaves started to curl up or "taco". So I flushed the plants for the first time. One recovered really well in 24 hours while the other improved a bit, but was still looking sad. I ended up flushing her a second time the next day. Soil for both plants is still pretty damp but should be flushed well, and once it completely dries out, I can amend my feeding practices and give them another ~week before flowering. I'm going to cut the nutrient amounts in 1/2, only feed nutrients with every other watering, and also give the plants more water to allow the proper amount of run-off. I guess this is very important in preventing a build up of nutrients in the soil. Hey, you live and you learn! Also started trying some super cropping because I want to try it all, haha.

Six weeks ago I flipped the light to 12/12 and I got to say it’s pretty fast growing. Trichomes looking good. Harvest get closer and closer. 4 of 5 plants are colouring pretty hard. Nice bud to leaf ratio and overall nice appearance. This week I started to lower the temps for terpene preservation. Smell is quite skunky and a little bit fruity. Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? Happy Growing !
