At the end of week 10 the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS are ready to harvest. The plants have all started to fade and get yellow leaves and hardly have any whit pistils anymore. I check the trichomes with a handheld microscope and see that they have all turned milky and some even amber...now is the PERFECT MOMENT to harvest them, they have reached PEAK-THC now. The colas on each plant are HUGE and COVERED IN TRICHOMES. A strong 'hazy' aroma is filling out the tent, its an earthy and mildly sweet smell, very enticing, I cant wait to try my medicine after its dry. The plants on the left side under the LUMATEK ZEUS 600W PRO are less uniform (=some are taller, some are smaller) and less compact than on the other side. The right side under the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps has grown more uniform (all plants have almost the same height) and with more compact buds. The trichome production was very good on both sides, the quality of the buds is OUTSTANDING!

Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Day 15 Flower (Day 57) The first day of week 3 of flower. I switched the light recipe in my main tent from the Flower Induction program to the Flower program now when the right girl is in flower. I also gave her 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. The left girl didn't need any water though. That was all today. Day 16 Flower (Day 58) All I did today was to give each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 17 Flower (Day 59) I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 5.9 water today. It's a bit low maybe (added too much pH down and was too lazy to fix it) but should be alright. My pH is different each watering anyway, as I aim to optimize nutrient uptake by covering a broader pH range. The left girl didn't need any today as she drinks a lot less due to being smaller. That being said, she is now hitting the light :/ It was never my intention to grow her in such a confined space, but here we are. She should have been trained differently and vegged shorter to grow correctly in such a small space. I have ordered a new, taller tent which will arrive next week. Until then, she'll be snug, and I don't think I can take any canopy pics for a few days. I started brewing some compost tea following the same recipe as previously (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, and molasses), but I upped the castings, the neem, and the kelp. Long overdue as it was over two weeks since last time. I will feed this tea (unfiltered) tomorrow after 24 hrs of brewing. Day 18 Flower (Day 60) Today I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.3 compost tea that brewed for 26 hours. I also added a few tablespoons worth of alfalfa seeds that I ran through a blender first to beat up into a powder. I didn't filter the tea, so all ingredients ended up as a top dressing that will get watered in as time goes. The small tent is packed, and the girl is pressing up against the light. It got to hold out until next week, so it is what it is. It is getting a bit cramped in the main tent as well, so I moved up the lights as far as I could without going full McGyver. It's the first time I grow this strain, but she sure is a stretcher. The weather has gotten warm here (finally!), but of course, now my tent is getting even hotter. I'm trying to combat it to some extent by running the extractor fan more. That will get the temp down a bit, but unfortunately, it will also cause the humidity to drop. I put in my small humidifier to help with that, so the VPD is still in a reasonable range. Day 19 Flower (Day 61) I defoliated the right girl today by removing some leaves and branches low down where the lights don't reach. The left girl must also be done, but I'll work on her when she is between tents next week. I also gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. That was it for today. Day 20 Flower (Day 62) All I did today was to water each girl with 3 liters of pH 6.7 water. I hope that my new tent arrives sooner rather than later since the left girl is pushing up so much against the light that the top flowers are starting to get burnt. Wonderful... :( I've turned down the light as low as it goes (15%), that's pretty much all I can do except turning off the light completely. Day 21 Flower (Day 63) The last day of the third week of flower and things are moving along nicely except for the crowded tent, but hopefully, the new tent will solve that in a day or two. The left girl is 85 cm tall (17 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 117 cm tall (also a 17 cm increase in a week). There wasn't much to do today. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and snapped a few pics. That's all.

Week 10 - not long now.. She looks good, just a little concerned with the fan leaves but from what I've read this is normal and nothing to worry about at this stage. Hope that is true. 🤔 I've kept the nutrients lower this week as I am worried about over feeding. The soil I mixed with alot of Manure from goats, ducks and chicken so I dont think I need to add anything else. First time growing... better to be safe than sorry. I got to the bottom of last weeks droopy leaves - Underwatering! I had been keeping her out of the rain and had forgot to feed water. Lesson learnt. I noticed the roots get compact on top in a fabric pot if you dont slowly water in, the water runs off the pot and not through it. Fixed this by bottom feeding until the soil was fully wet - I guess bottom feeding is the way to go when this happens. 10-20% of Pistils are brownish now and most of the trichomes are cloudy with a few still clear and the odd one amber. Still trying to get to grips with the x45 loupe. I dont have steady hands 😆 The lower branches that were LST'd are getting really big now so for sure I will be pulling all the branches back next time. Removed potential bud rot and will closely monitor. Hopefully she will be ok for 10 more days 🙏🤞

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. Trying to keep her environment correct so she is happy and those buds swell. Continue to reduce the temperature slightly during the day and night as well as lowering the humidity. She is a very pretty girl and has certainly impressed me now at weeks 7 to 9.......this is a learning grow though because I was not sure what to expect in weeks 3 to 5 but now understand the genetics better. Growing another girl in a 1 gal pot at the same time, just short of 2 weeks behind, and learning from that girl as well so we know the best way to run the last 4 seeds. Hint......I don’t feel 1 gal pot will be the winner and suspect a 3 gal might be the one for me and my style. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 She didn’t like the light intensity in early weeks and preferred a lower pH. Given that she was slow growing at the start I was unsure of how far to push LST and obviously should have tied down her main cola but she was more resilient than I gave her credit for. On bigger branches I would clip off another one of the lower nodes than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top cola will fill in as much as one would like but her side branches are making up for it and will definatley add to the weight.........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway if she will hold out that long🤞 She still has several nice white hairs but the red guys, drying, did happen a fair bit this week. She is ripening up. Almost picking up speed but hard to say.....my guessing so far has been off when trying to read this girl so “I am just along for the ride” hope she has a couple more weeks in her yet.😁 The long lanky grows often have you wishing they would have stayed just another 6” shorter.😀 Had to keep the lights higher in the tent to accommodate this girl and now tough to raise as high as I would like for Skywalker. It’s all good though as she is filling in along with the other girls👍She has pretty buds to look at but they are not swelling as much as I would like yet. Hope that comes soon and will continue to lower the temps. Environment is getting colder at night. Crystal production has been strong and very impressive! Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 5.95pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water with Sensyzime @ 1.5ml/L. 100ppm and 6.4pH going in. - still trying to raise the medium slightly to over 6.0. Sensyzime to clean up the roots and eat the waste making more food. - Her red hairs are coming out pretty prominent now on some buds. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 800ppm and 6.1pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1000ppm 6.0and pH - Heavy leaf strip today. Almost anything with a stem was removed. Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - She is ripening more now. She is happy and her tips are up:) - Red hairs continue to come out towards the top of the girl. - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1050ppm and 6.05pH. Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. - She appears to be swelling more on her buds. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.8pH going in. - Runoff - 600ppm and 6.15pH. Good numbers but wouldn’t mind the ppm around 1,000. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - 2L feed going in was 5.7pH. Want to try and keep it around the 6.0pH mark as she seems happy slightly lower pH. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush thinking 5.8. - She has some nice buds. She has fattened up and her buds are forming “tips” now. - Again....frosty frosty girl. Day 29 Magnesium and calcium issue seem sorted. Last night I topped the PotG and took cuts from the bottom node. Each one now has 3 nodes/ 6 branches. Punch Line was topped days ago but i also took cuts from those. It was a little early for taking cuts but I need to get things moving here and I took two from each so at least one will make it from each. They’re all looking much more green and healthy than they were before. I’m gonna gone down tonight’s feed tho. I’m not entirely sure on plans for flower. Hopefully within the next 7-14 days. Keeping things under the FCE4800 for flower. Probably will flower the Punch line in my normal flower room as all 8 would be a bit tight. Raising light and dimming to 70% or so to encourage a bit of vertical growth. That additional UV in veg is going to cause some tighter nodes - wish you could toggle it on or off. Still rather have it all grow then none at all. All growth has been consistent from all 5 PotG Punch line was bigger at first but now because of smaller containers the PotG is easily taken over in size. Not much distinction between plants at this point. Some have a bit fatter leaves than others 1 is a bit taller out of the medium where as the others are closer to it than I’d prefer but that’s why I’m encouraging some stretch here. Day 35 update - tomorrow will have new week update but real quick.. Astounding growth this week ! PunchLine male found and putting him outside to initiate reproductive stages and get me some pollen to harvest. Happy Easter. According to my calculations, the final week is beginning. Or the second to last. Let's see. I defoliate everything that has turned yellow. I think I read once that shortly before the end it is normal for the plants to draw all their nutrients from the leaves. So everything looks good, I think. Oh yes, I put my fan on the ceiling “McGyver-style”. Functions. Have fun looking for eggs.

All right so today is day 13 starting the week 2 a day early because of my other diaries as I explained last week... As you can tell this girl is thriving and growing faster than I expected to be honest.. I ordered some pro mix yesterday should be here tomorrow where I will be transplanting her into a 1 gallon pot where she will remain for a couple weeks and then I will transfer her into the 4 gallon and put her in the tent where the strawberry cough is and get her flipping to flower .. training is going to be minimal I might just let her go naturally like I did the cream and cheese because that was a 3-month grow and the very successful one.. Girls are really starting to to take off now. Ramping up the nutrients slightly and started defoliation. It's interesting to see the phenotypes coming out. 3 plants. One short and bushy, one in between and one tall and lanky. Excited to watch the rest of the grow and how they end up. Off to a really good start. Tons of side growth. Completely topped 2 of them and fimmed the last one to see what happens. Currently trying to figure out the timelapse on my camera it only wants to save in few second long clips. I'll get it. I posted them anyway they are kinda neat.

Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)
