Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Let the girls do their thing for the most part this last week. Started to stack up real nice, started to notice white pistils coming in. After 2-3 days there were more popping up and some beginning to flush to orange. Decided to LST and defol one last time, watered without any nutes. Today marks week 5 with the ladies, and I will officially say they are ending their veg cycle and transitioning into flower. Cranked the fans up tonight to circulate more air, tapering humidity down. Been pretty easy going so far

Creo se recuperaron de este estrés y la floración sigue en marcha. 9/20 Man I've been busy. I'm sick too. Looking back at my diaries I get sick this time of year every year it seems. Once I get the important stuff done I'll put some pictures of finished product up. Sunny today and windy as hell. All the plants left seem to be doing good and look like they'll finish. The pink kush might not finish how I WANT but it's stinky and has lots of milky trichs. I'm playing with fire with this mk ultra. It's fucking done. It could get a LITTLE more amber and maybe come together a bit more but I don't know if it's smart to risk it. Frost warning in effect tonight. I'll probably check the forecast and harvest tomorrow. We're having some good weather just cold nights. Then it turns to like a 30% chance of rain for 4 or 5 days. I'll yank it before that. This actually turned out tp be a pretty good year. Haven't tested everything (especially shit in the ground) but what I have sampled I'm incredible happy with. 9/21 IT was a balmy 36° on my way to the garden. My windshield had frost on it. Surprisingly the TIGHT nugs of the pink kush and this phenome of 10th planet didn't seem to mind it. Both strains are still increasing in size, smell and trich development. Not just changing but adding more. Trichs on trichs. Very in hospital environment. It will be interesting to see what happens with these girls. We will be getting some rain. I mean we've had SOME but I mean real rain. If thays the case I'll put these in the garage for a little bit. Honestly I thought these would be goners. I've gotta get to work trimming bucking and manicuring flower. Doing a garden like this sure is an awful lot of work. But the reward is worth every penny. WATERED EVERYTHING LEFT A HALG GALLON APIECE. PROBABLY SHOULDVE GAVE A GALLON BUT THEY WERE STILL A LITTLE HEAVY. 9/22 It rained last night and we got another frost. HAD to cut a main branch of the tenth planet as it had stem rot. Lots more cold weather coming. If I could get it done and I wasnt sick and have all this other material to process I would probably pull then. It's getting really cold. We're going to be getting rain. I'll check the weather and hopfully I can just put the movable ones in the garage. Either way things will work out. Pictures that will be coming will be of the finished product!

Not going to lie, with everything going on in the world right now, taking pictures of the plants was not high on my priority list. I basically snapped a couple of pics and took a couple of videos today and decided that will be it. This is not the place to get political, but I truly hope that against all odds by the time of my next post peace will have returned to Ukraine. In terms of the grow, plants seem to be doing great. Over the past couple of days, the buds have started to fatten up to the point where I think my yield will at least be on par with the last run. I'm still giving her another 3-4 weeks before I think they'll be finished up, but it honestly could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks, just have to wait and see. On a side note the plants are becoming more and more different, to the point where they don't even look like the same pheno. One plant has airy, larfy buds but has made some progress over past 24 hours towards tightening up a bit. The other plant has these fat, dense, stocky nugs that look very much like an indica strain, we will see how this affects the harvest. 30/08/2025 - tenho vindo a regar alternadamente com água de garrafão e água da torneira que deixo descansar ao sol por 24h, acredito que esteja a ter um problema no EC da água mas não tenho medidor de EC. Vou comprar para a próxima run pois nesta já está muito tarde para mexer ou ajustar seja o que for. Mas de qualquer forma vou tentar esmiuçar com o que tenho para entender melhor o problema. Vai dar um fumo excelente, o cheiro está muito forte, formação de tricomas. Obrigado a toda a comunidade por me ajudar com as minhas questões. Ajudaram imenso. Estou a adorar a experiência de fazer este diário ! Obs: Com a ajuda da comunidade acabei por perceber que o problema pode ter origem em vários fatores, como dito em cima (sem medido de EC) palpito que seja o Ec da agua que tenho colocado, fiz um calculo e o Ec da agua e são cerca de 130-150uS/cm, o que por si só é muito aceitável. No entanto a composição da agua é: Ca2+ 1.5mg/L Na+ 25mg/L Cl- 19mg/L HCO3- 47.1mg/L Conclusão: Ainda teria de verificar o Ec do runoff dos vasos, mas sem medidor é-me totalmente impossível, deste modo as possíveis causas que encontrei seriam 2: o uso excessivo de chás aerados, pode ter aumentado demasiado a sacarose do solo e com isso a vida microbiana que por si só aumenta o Ec do solo, outro possível problema, que para mim será o mais provável, é a composição da agua que rego, tem uma quantidade de sódio relativamente alta (mais de 10 mg/l), sódio é um dos piores elementos em excesso no cultivo, não é um nutriente essencial para a planta (serve apenas em traços), compete com K, Ca e Mg nas raízes bloqueado a absorção, e acumula-se com facilidade no substrato pois não é consumido pela planta. Por ultimo, as quantidades de Ca e Mg são relativamente baixas o que pode criar um défice destes nutrientes com ainda mais facilidade nestas condições. Quando regado com este tipo de agua o ideal seria fazer um runoff em todas as regas de 10% (como um leve flush), para evitar acúmulos de sais no substrato, coisa que quase nunca fiz ao longo do cultivo. While in the dark I maintained a temperature of 65-68℉ and a RH of 40%. After three days in the dark I removed the Zkittlez Auto and all I can say is WOW! All of the flowers on the Zkittlez were just covered in trichomes and it had a super strong sweet/fruity aroma that hit me right in the face!😍 I cut the Zkittlez and hung her in two sections as the flowers were huge, and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't going to be any issues with air circulation around them possibly causing issues. It's wintertime here now so I took advantage of the low temp's and RH hanging the Zkittlez Auto in my attic. I sealed off a section of the attic from any light leaks and installed a de-humidifier, fan and humidifier along with a hygrometer which I suspended at the same level as the plant was hanging which give the most accurate reading of temp/RH. After hanging the Zkittles, I adjusted the fan direction so that it was not blowing directly on the hanging plant, but kept the air slightly moving in the room. I set the de-humidifier for 50% which I run for the first 24hrs to knock down some moisture in the plant, then set it to 60-65% for the remainder of the drying time. The Zkittles Auto hung for a full 12 days, during which I checked on it daily to empty the de-humidifier and make sure that the environment stayed on point. After hanging, it was time to trim this beauty up and get her flowers into glass jars to begin the curing process which I prefer to take at least one month, preferably 2-3 months to really get a good cure and allow all the starches to convert to sugars, the remaining chlorophyll to metabolize and the terpenes to form their bouquet! Trimming the Zkittlez Auto by Seedsman was a breeze and resulted in some tightly stacked and absolutely gorgeous flowers that are loaded with shiny trichomes that sparkle, and a sweet and fruity aroma that will make your mouth water!😍 I was super stoked to harvest almost 100g from this beautiful autoflower that was grown in a little .5g plastic popcorn pot that I had saved from a trip to see 'Top Gun Maverick' at the theater and I can attest from cultivating Seedsman's Zkittlez Auto in the past, that with a bigger pot, it is capable of some incredible yields! This week: air bubbles, air bubbles, and AIR BUBBLES, that's why my growth has been weak lol. AAAAAND I wasn't giving them space between the net pots from the water! VERY IMPORTANT NEW DWC-ers lol Sooo this week I was just letting them be. Until I realize I was messing up, everything in the book EXCEPT those 2 things I state above. I just received my new air pump today as am writing this (everything is installed) very pleased with the new pump. But I gotta replace those airstones they seem clogged up (yes I did wash em, warm water and a firm toothbrush) But I've been checking everything down to my pH that's it's constant at 5.8 My PPM is the same when they drink so let's see the difference a week from now. I do start to see lil pistols coming out on the 1st plants I think shes done veggin let's see next week. 📆 Semana 7 La Biscotti Gelato sigue su escalada hacia la perfección. Los tonos morados se profundizan y se mezclan con matices verdes y dorados, mostrando un contraste cromático impresionante. Los cogollos se vuelven más densos y pesados, brillando con una resina cada vez más abundante que captura la luz como joyas vivas. El aroma se intensifica aún más, combinando dulzura, notas terrosas y un toque cremoso que envuelve todo el espacio con promesas de una cosecha excepcional. Seedling popped out of the soil and is off to a good start. The led light from home depot seems to be working okay for the seedling. I think it may be stretching a little. I'll be getting the blackdog led PhytoMAX-2 400W soon.
