7/14/23 - Day 32 - Switched to flower today. It will get its first dose of 12 hrs. of daylight, 12 hrs. of dark. This will tell the plant to start budding. I'm excited to see the bud's form. So far everything with the Leaf system is going great. I'm excited to show the next few weeks as they happen! 7/16/23 - Day 34 - The plant is bushing out big now. It's getting tall. I'm a little worried we waited for a little too long, but who knows? We shall see. 7/20/23 - Day 38 - She is a few days into flower, and she is sprouting up like crazy. I bought another Scrogg net. I'm going to try and double Scrogg? is that a thing? Lol I just know that I need to keep these buds from hitting the lights. I think I'll be able to get all of this to work well, but I am nervous about the height. I can see some pistils starting to poke out! 7/21/23 - Day 39 - The lights turn off at 2am and back on at 2pm, so right now I'm waiting to open the box up for the day. But I was looking back at the pictures and trying not to freak out about how big she is (I'm worried about the lights, they don't move, and Shes is MASSIVE already) One thing I noticed about the pictures is that I have not had a single leaf turn yellow, or get spots, or have curling leaves, or have any issues with the plant. I would expect some sort of dying leave somewhere, but no. Not one single leaf has been less than perfect, I mean PERFECT. It seems like this LEAF growing box is literally the perfect environment. Well, these girls are well on their way into bloom. They are really stacking it on since the addition of the worm castings. I strongly suggest everyone use worm castings in your soil mixes, even if you are using salt-based nutrients.

I skipped the last week because I didn't take any pictures. But this week there's some more pictures. The buds are developing beautiful. They're growing a lot and starting to get some beautiful colours. They're starting to smell amazing as well.

Increased TDS from 900 to 1400

I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the main stem growing any taller and repotted them into 4L pots, once they show roots I'll flip them over to flower. They've all outgrown their mutations but the apple fritter has a slight varigation.

SCROG in place and the first round of trimming done. Plant is extremely bushy, but starting to stretch some now. 2nd SCROG on standby. Love these lights!!!

Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Day22 Minor lst but that’s about it. She’s doing well and I just chopped her sister today, this girl and a few more left of this cultivar. Thinking we found the keeper already but only the cure will tell for sure.

Getting huge, upping nutrients slowly. All drinking 1.5 litres over 2 waterings a week, they all drinking fast! All Seems to be loving it. going well so far. Weekly updates to follow 😎

Day 49 of this grow and I wish I could be taking better care of these girls but am doing the best I can. Throughout the grow I have done nothing but water once a day with calmag. I will be adding a compost tea in the coming days. I have been dealing with a nasty fungus gnats problem and after changing the environment and spraying. Neem seed oil they are under control. Hopefully things go well from here on out and it’s some 🔥 it smells wonderful already and each having its own unique quality to them! Happy Growing Cheers! 🌱🎄🔥

Been on the straight water halfway through the week going to be keeping a close eye on them in order to time a 2 day darkness period and I would like them to be close to dry at the roots also so it's all watchy and trying to balance and time things together. One thing is for certain tho some of the buds smell like lemon cleaning products! Crazy. Should be Harvest before next week so I might pop on with some decent pictures if I can get any. Will reupdate once dried also.

It's really hard to place the smell of this lady. It's not like anything I've ever smelled before. She is fattening up well and is nice and sugary. Not much else to report other than I can't wait to smoke this strain.

Jour 48 dans le jardin secret de nos amies les plantes, et l'aventure se poursuit avec son lot de défis. Aujourd'hui, un petit contretemps : une de nos verdoyantes compagnes souffrait d'une carence en azote. Heureusement, avec une intervention rapide et l'apport d'une dose généreuse d'azote et d'autres nutriments essentiels, j'espère avoir rectifié le tir. C'est une période fascinante, car la plante a cessé de grandir verticalement pour concentrer toute son énergie sur le développement de ses fleurs. Je vais continuer à lui fournir méticuleusement les nutriments dont elle a besoin, en veillant à maintenir cet équilibre délicat : assez pour la soutenir, mais pas trop au point de causer des brûlures par excès de nutriments. D'après l'état actuel des choses, je table sur une période complète de 12 semaines. Remarque : feuilles jaunissantes a la 5/6e semaine dûe a une carence d'azote traiter par la moitié de la dose recommandée. Engrais : moitié de la dose recommandée en NPK pour corriger les carences, a vérifier si brûlures.

Well here we are guys going into our fifth week of flower and she has been putting on weight.. thank you SEEDSMAN for giving me the opportunity to grow this beautiful plant and I really mean that this girl has been amazing from the very beginning I have done absolutely nothing to her other than some small defoliation and she has been a breeze taking any strength of nutrients I throw at her..
