Its day 25 since sproud and the plants are looking good so far. The jslow stress training with the clips works as expected and the branches are getting thicker and more robust. Defoliation on day 34. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

It was an interesting grow in hind sight, I had my ups and downs along the way . It was my First haze and wasn't prepared for the 12 wk flowing cycle. My girls took until wk 3-4 to show any hairs!! I was starting to think that they would never do it. I was battling with my nighttime temps , sometimes they would drop to 3c. I installed a 190w 1.5m greenhouse tube heater and managed to raise it to 9c. I installed another a few weeks after and managed to keep a temp of 12c when lights were off. It seemed like I was constantly waiting for a growth spurt as the flowers didn't seem to kick off until Around wk 8 . I had some foxtails, mainly on the left side Of my tent , the foxtails were like crowns ( 4 growing out of the tip of the cola). This also made the main bud a bit loose . The flavour is nice and sweet with a pungent smell, some have said like cheese . It is a really strong bid to smoke , one joint and that's it for 2 hours , really creative . I wouldn't grow this strain again due to the sheer amount of time that goes into it , not to mention the extra nutes and electricity , but I will keep some back as it is a lovely experience. I also used a pollinator machine and got 30g of hash from my trim which is always a nice bonus . Thanks to valhallas garden, totem and spinner Caribbean for their support during this grow . I may lay low for a while on GD as I had a bit of a scare with an address of a friend accidentally appearing in a photo ,

It grows compactly. Unfortunately, not all shoots are growing evenly. This could be due to the Indica dominance. What do you think? I haven't been able to find any real pre-flowers yet. At first, I thought I had found some male ones, but under the microscope they looked like leaf buds. Fingers crossed that the plant is female. I don't want all that training to go to waste. Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

The end is in sight! This round with 8 plants in 4 pots (=2 GIRLS IN A CUP) of BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is now in week 15 since germination. They are now flowering since 9 weeks and are starting to fade, that means they start to get ripe. All big fan-leaves are now red or yellow colored and start to wilt away. This is a sign the plant will be ready to harvest soon. In the pics and the VIDEO you can clearly see the purple/reddish coloration of the top-buds and the THICK LAYER of TRICHOMES they have. It is AMAZING to see and I cant wait to try this strain after its harvested and dried. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS and the bud-structure is very compact...in one word: DANK! The aroma of the BANANA KRUMBLE is sweet and fruity (reminds me of ripe bananas with a hint of cinnamon!) and overwhelmingly STRONG! Every time I open the tent a THICK CLOUD of SWEEY SMELL greets me, its ASTOUNDING! My 3 SANlight LED-lamps still hang at 40 cm distance from the top of the plants. The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the outside are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is dimmed to 80% (=two green lights on dimmer ON). The HUGE size and compact bud structure shows that the plants LOVE the SPECTRUM and the INTENSITY of the SANlight LEDs. Since I use BIOTABS-nutrients I do NOT NEED TO FLUSH the plants! They only got tab-water all the time, therefore it makes no sense to give them more water of it now. All the nutrients in the soil and the plants should be used up by now (that why the plants start to wilt!) and that ensures a smooth smoke later. When you smoke unflushed weed any nutrients left in the plant matter (especially phosphorus (=P)) will create a harsh feeling in your throat and make you cough, therefore its normally of the UTMOST importance to flush your weed before harvesting. Now its only one more week and harvest time is here...yipppiiie

4/26: I top-dressed their pots with about a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture and watered it in really slowly with about 1/4 gallon of water each and added cal-mag, humic acid, liquid molasses, silica. I also started them on open sesame. I increased Ph to 6.40 to ensure that they can utilize the increased calcium and the P and K I'm giving them now. 4/27: I bent over their apical colas and tied them down today, and did a little bit of training on the bigger one to "spread her legs" nice and proper.👍 4/29: Both plants are stretching a little bit, but not nearly as much as I had hoped they would.....James Brown said it best: "Got to get on up!" 5/1: I gave them a little water with cal-mag, boomerang, humic acid, and silica. 5/2: I sprayed them with boomboom spray this morning...grow bitches, grow! 5/3: I did a slow-soak feeding today. Backed off the nitrogen a little more, increased silica, and started adding sweet & sticky and signal.

Ajusted the fertilizer ratios to meet more optimal solution.

Week 1 24 hours ethos popped and began to stretch Temp 76 humidity domes on top 5 of 5 out going directly into pots and 24 hour lighting on day 3! gonna run 24/7 for 30 then switch over hopefully. Nothing added but FishShit and rootdrench to pop

I know people say wait til end of week 3 to defoliate but I was too impatient. Did it a few days early. Never cut basically every fan leaf before lol. But she seemed to take it okay. Grew another inch or two after that. EC is at about 1000 now still 5x a day. Just feeding a smaller amount. With all the leaves off the ladies are not drinking as much. Temps at 80F with humidity around 65.

Day 46. So far no major problems . They enjoyed the pk boost last 11days (5doses in 11days total 2mil given) pk boost over. Gonna just use bloom f3eed now for last 3/4 weeks . Happy Growing :)

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/9- Here we go into the eighth week of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both growing fast and the 'Tester B' is getting tall! 6/11- Daytime temperatures outside are now hitting 90℉, and the greenhouse temps are pushing 100℉. I have plenty of air circulating using 4 fans and I'm probably going to put a shade tarp over the greenhouse if the weather continues to get any warmer. 6/13- Daily waterings continue with 2g of well water that is ph'd to between 6.2-6.7 @ 72℉ along with weekly Compost Teas. Despite the excessive heat, both 'Testers' have shown absolutely ZERO signs of any stress whatsoever which is a testament to the superior genetics in both! 6/15- Eight weeks of veg are in the rear view mirror and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks to see how these gorgeous ladies begin to slowly transition into their 'pre-flower' stage. The bonsai creation is in the very end..... Actually ready but i want more amber trichomes to get more body high than mind one.... Nice little creation... waiting for to be cut I expect to be done in 1 week but trichomes speak.
