These lovely ladies are doing wonderfully. I had to rush when I first put all the plants in my greenhouse, so it was a bit of a puzzle to get everything to fit right. All 3 of these strains have they're own unique smell already. Very excited! Now when I harvest the cherry pie strain I have in there it will give the lemon cherry runtz a lot more space lol

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Good growth this week, the roots have already reached the pots! The Blackberry Cake seems to develop nicely but it's still smaller than the two others. I topped the plants and started to apply some LST and they responded very well. This is the first time I try to do some LST without bending the main stem, let's see how it goes. I increased the light power to 75%. I moved the fan to be further away from the Blackberry Cake because it seems that it suffered from the wind, the leaves look and feel dry. During watering, only a small quantity of water ran down in the saucer and I poured 2l in each pot. The Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush looked a bit droopy, I think I should have watered a bit sooner. What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

So cut of a few bud sites that were too low or under the net. I also had some nutrient problems with the FBA2504 shes more hungry then the other 2 plants but that should be sorted out by now, or at least thats what I hope.😅😂 Also I wanted to mention that the terps on the FBA2504 give me some Super Lemon Haze vibes and shes also looking like a sativa dominant strain so who knows maybe I got 4 Haze crossings in my tent rn🔥. Purple Haze seems to be the fastest out of the 3 she is a fast one for sure. The Frostbanger has some purple pistils forming.

My math on the nutes had been off, so should start resolving this week. For this change, I used 2gl of RO water per plant and introduced some cal/mag to level things off. This is also the first week of using big bud and bud candy. I'll only use the big bud for this week since it's supposed to be for the first 4 weeks of flower and this is week 4. Trimmed off a few bad leaves (after the pics) but not all so the pants wouldn't stress. The system has been adjusted to keep temps below 80 and humidity under 45%.

Great color. Im hanging by the stems so I'll get a weight after dry. Great purple color. She loved all the light. pest resistance was 10/10.

Update on the second grow: the plants are looking very healthy and seem to be growing much faster than the first batch. 🌿 I feel like we've already done a lot better with these plants compared to the first grow. What do you all think? Any thoughts or suggestions? Day 26 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants in our second grow have names now too! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants in both grows. For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. Additionally, we've placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch both grows progress!
