soooo I topped them. I'm kinda scared i did It too soon (2 and a half weeks) one recovered perfectly the other ones have shown some new brown spots. I started giving one time water and one time fertilizers. I should also repot them in a bit but I'm gonna let them chill for a bit first.
ps. pls give me any advices you have! it's my first time topping 😬😁
sssssoooo definetly a tough week!!! I repotted them in a 25l pot. but I'm really concerned about them. they don't seem to be bouncing back. I gave only water this week cause they also seemed in over. I removed the leafs that seemed sick and I'm hoping they bounce back! these are my first photoperiods ever so I'm still trying to figure out how much they can take.
I haven't touched them since the repot but idk what is going on! If you guys have any advices they are really welcome lol.
Wish me luck!!! happy growing guys😁
hhhhhhiiiiiii!! soooo 5th week here. goota admit I'm pretty damn proud of myself! the girls were not looking good at all a week ago and now they look amazing! I lst'd them and I really had to fight the urge to train them everyday cause they have been bouncing back in record time! (couldn't control myself with the first one as you can see... but also she was growing too tall and was gonna f everything up.)
Anyway I did a kind of pretty heavy lst on every girl and the next day they were completely up again! amazing! really amazing! I think it's because I stressed them out so much before that this time they were like "THIS ALL YOU GOT BITCH?" LOL. (ima put the pics so you see the before and after).
So this week's been All about training really, setting the scrog and giving only water without any nutrients. I wanted to start fresh since they overed. I think tomorrow I'll give nutrients for the first time in like 3 weeks lol.
psssss: is the scrog at the right length? :')
FINALLY FLOWER TIME!!!!
so as you can see I sprayed them with diatomeaceus earth for precaution before switching them to flower. I started giving half of the recommended dose of fertilizers and I give them alterned with plain water and they seem to be growing better. They are reaching the scrog net which is good :).
They don't seem to have understood they are in flower time.. I havent seen any white pistils yet.
Have been checking them to spot males/hermaphrodites and they all seem to be females. I have been reading the Cervantes Bible in which it says that you should wait for pre-flowers to appear before switching to flower. but I read it too late since I had already switched, but it's noted for next time
this switch really helped the temperatures thought,I was able to remove the a/c so the baby's have more space to grow 🖤 overall a successfull week I think 🔥
the babies are looking good this week! they have finally noticed they are in flower and started giving me those white pistils 😍 a good week,I'm watering like 3 times a week now. next time I'll water il also give nutrients for the flowering stage.
I'm currently giving them 1.5 l of water each.
I wanted to wait until they showed me they knew they were flowering. should I lollypop them soon or leave them be? 🤔
i think I did a good job with the low stress training and topping as they all seem to have 6/7 main stems 😁😁😁
they have Been doing sooo well!! growing so much! they have taken the whole box now! I'm happy of how my first attempt at scrog turned out I noticed they are low at ppm values, does that mean they want nutrients? 🤔also I found thrips.. I'll figure out how to deal with them /:.
oh also I lollypopped them so that they focus on the main 🔥 I'm giving them 2liters per baby now.
sooo it has been an amazing week! looks like all the training and long vegetative stage is paying me off with interests! 😂🤯
I managed to take the whole grow space (didn't think I would be able to make it since it was my first time using scrog and topping techniques.)
They seem so hungry! I don't think the alternating only water and water with nutrients is working out for my babies. I have been giving them nutrients with the last 4 waterings and they still have low ppm values!
I'll keep giving them nutrients untill they are happy.
Also I had thrips,I got tired of stressing myself out over them so I sprayed a lot of diatomeaceus earth on my whole grow room and then I removed it from the flower sites. I think this will help me fight them at least a little bit. I know it is not ideal but I couldn't get anything official to do it I had to use what I already had. I did that 3 days ago and today I saw all the thrips on 1 leaf that didn't have diatomeaceus earth on it.
I'm happy with the results! nothing much else to say.
p.s. I'm always giving half of the recommended dose of fertilizers anyway🔥.
The smell is getting amazing! they are so sticky! they have so much colasssss I love that they got the whole box!
they are finally not hungry anymore,I'm calculating ppm values every time and fertilizing as necessary.
the diatomeaceus earth worked, there are almost no thrips anymore,I'm also really happy about that,I was doubtful.
they are drinking a lot of water. I'm giving them 3l per plant every 3 days more or less.
I'm so looking forward to this! I hate myself for doing only autos until this babies.
They seem happy! not much to say anymore. can't wait to harvest!
it has been going good I sprayed some 100% organic pesticide for fruit trees and I have to say it was pretty good. it got rid of the few thrips I had left. Now of course once I got rid of that problem another comes up😅😅 it got cold super fast here! I'm afraid they are suffering because of it. I'm thinking about switching from Mars hydro's Leds to a hps light since it emanates a lot of hotness in the grow room and I need that. getting close to flushing im excited!
Btw I'm doing a big ass timelapse,I'll post it when this babies are done 😍
this week is going smooooth. Te fact that the temperatures went down turned out to be good cause it happened right at the end.
Next time I water I'm going to flush 😁 then wait til the soil is a little dry (but before they look thirsty) 😁😁😁😁
im happy with this grow cause it was my first one so I can't complain. Next time I'll be more preventive towards pests 😬 and use cuttings to do clones too😁😁 they have an amazing smell. I think before harvest ill also give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin 😆😆😆😆😆😆
this week is going really good! I am flushing right now with just plain water. I was supposed to harvest but I decided to give it another watering since the ppm values were the maximum recommended for harvest and I want as less fertilizer in my buds as possible😁 next time I'll water I'll give them 4/5 liters per plant and when the soil is kinda moist and about to dry I will give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin and then FINALLY chop everything off!
I'm really excited to try them! they smell really amazing.
smoke report💚 I loved this strain,I was also ok with the yield since it was my first time trying high stress techniques and I made a some mistakes from which I learned doe so😁
40 g dry.. I'm confident I'll do better the next one :)
it has been drying for 2 weeks and a half and in an airtight container for a month💚
The drying room temperature was max 18 and Min 15 degrees with a 60 percent humidity 😁
soo one was way more photogenic than the other 😅 also I know I put a lot of videos but I'm obsessed with this strain ok? it's amazing and I'm proud of me😁😁
oh and how DOPE is the timelapse? 🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ive always grown photos and am just now reading about autos so im considering the opposite switch you made! This is my first grow in 12 years so honestly there weren't even autos out there when i was in the game and no one called regular plants photos , they were just plants 😆. Do you think its worth trying a few autos? Or think if im already running photos to just stick with those for consistency?
@olli0420, to be honest ive always wanted to jut didnt have the time, space, or reason to with medical and recreational. But now that recreational has destroyed the medical which has destroyed overall quality in the industry, im forced back to the garden and i love it.
I have some space in the rooms for a few autos, but ill have to wait until i figure out which of these bagseeds i want to keep going. Ive cloned two (during flower) of the 7, and will cull some more of those clones soon to make space for some autos!
@Posterboy, thank you so much! amazing you turned back at it!
by photoperiods I mean feminised photoperiod seeds. Now regular seeds are seeds that are fifty fifty female and fifty fifty male.
yeah it is definetly worth a shot if you never did them! I personally love to train them so I had problems with autos since they are way more delicate than photoperiods as they don't have time to recover and If induced to too much stress will flower. I think I'll do photos in my growroom and put some autos in my room as decor LOL.
Definetly try them if you never did. they are ready in 2 months/2 months and a half.
