The second week of vegetation is over and watching the plant grow is a rewarding experience for me. Now that the plant is well-established, it is time to begin training it. This involves LST to ensure it reaches its full potential in this case. I look forward to discovering what this plant will become 😋😊

I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

This was a very stressful week as there were too many variables at play all at once; even my camera refused to cooperate for the first few days. The freshly transferred plants were starting to droop and I was unsure if it was transplant shock, nutrient burn, or because of the incomplete grow tent. My first batch of nutrients were mixed into a gallon bottle and was weighed by a friend using his scale; this set was enough to last weeks. For this new batch however, I didn't have my scale and used the table spoon as my measuring tool; needless to say when my TDS meter finally arrived, both runoff and the remainder of the mixed nutrients read 2800. Fortunately my light setup seemed to be inefficient still and the plants weren't drawing much nutrients and only ended up with a very light burn on the older growth. All pots were flushed back to recommend levels and the light lowered until the lux values read appropriate. This week ends my daily comments and I'll stick to this end of the week format going forward.

High GD community, Week 13, Both girls looking good, but when it get a closer look, there some browning tips on the pistils. Im not pleased with it, bcs im sure its no sign of maturation. There has to be a shoc or drought, lights? I dont know, ive dropt the output a tiny bit. But im not that sure thats the real issue. Ive measured the soil and it seems pretty cold. Like 17.2 and 18.2 celcius for the 1 with infrared heatingmat 5w. Im using less nutrients now 2, so could this be a reaction. I diddnt go cold turkey on them. But its a changer. They also start to drink more, and there was 1 day it felt all a bit lighter then normal. But deffenitly not bonedry. So I got a lot of questions to get some answer to. The girls are smelling really nice…turned out a seed project but I sure would get some fire smoke. I’ve been feeding her 3 gallons of water daily preparing her for some charcoal ash…

All have taken well to nutrients, will probably keep at same ratio throughout flowering. Will also be using 1ml/l of b52 from flower week 3 and then ripen before flush. A few seem to be fattening up before the others but all are doing OK. Will update every 1-2days.

05/21/24. Going into week 3 flower Things are going pretty good with these girls health and happiness wise. As for Betsy I’m honestly not thrilled with her be the trellis. I don’t think it’s really worked well for her and most of her growth hasn’t even made it to the trellis. Tree has really amazed me. The turn around she’s had is crazy. From a terribly structured, goofy, no branch having weirdo, to a decent looking little plant. I’m glad I didn’t toss her when she was little and I take back saying she wasn’t worth putting into the tent. She’s small, but strong, and the branch I broke has done fine in healing and is growing a bud so yay. :) Haven’t fed as I’ve still seen no reason to.. and somehow still see what seems like a bit too much N, which with no feeding..I’m still not understanding. Just been giving water with silica and calmag as of now. Still have these girls containers up on wood to keep them near the same as the rest of the canopy as possible. Lights at about 75% and 22 inches up. Temperature 73-82. Humidity about 50% I’m not sure what I’ll do as for under trellis cleanup here. B has most of her self under the trellis, so if I removed everything under I think she’d have like 3-4 branches LOL. Tree seems pretty chillen. I don’t think much even needs to be done. Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo.
