SO excited for these ladies!!! 2019-02-12: planted the seeds in coco pellets. I hope I will receive my tent tomorrow, so I can start working on it, and moving the girls in as soon as possible. UPDATE on week1: it took only 2 days for them to pop!!! 100% Germination rate, 6/6 popped, although I'll only keep 5 . I was hoping to harvest this weekend as the days are getting colder. The trichomes arent't quite ready. So, I'm going to have to hold out another week. My garage is not heated. So, I have to plan my grows around the local weather despite growing in a tent. The Afghani has turned purple on the leaves that see the most light. Likely due to the drop in temperature at night. I have stopped feeding the plants. The EC has remained unchanged for the last week. There is no point in wasting nutrients if the plant won't eat.

The girls are looking good, vibrant and healthy. I'm watering every other day now, up from every three days because they're up taking more liquids. Top dressing as I see fit, once every 4 waterings. Water mixture always has SuperThrive, Molasses and Potassium within it though.

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This girl is doing fine with the water. Prolly because she was stunted and doesn't need as much. The week went very well, the plant stretched for an additional 15cm and is now showing the first proper bud-sites. Had to change the nutrient solution after day 5, as the tank was almost empty. I increased the nutrients to a 1000 ppm, which caused a tiny amount of tip burn, so will not be increasing it next week. The second scrog net helps greatly spreading out the canopy, I will continue with a very light LST during the flower as well to guarantee maximum light exposure for all bud-sites. I am enjoying this grow very much, first time in a while for me to grow photos inside and I think I will continue growing photos, it seems they are a bit more forgiving and I feel that I can take the time to really let them fill the tent. On my previous grows I usually had 3 autos in there, which would always lead to issue in regards to some plants growing quicker than others. I have a very optimistic outlook in regards to harvest, which I will keep yo myself in order to not jinx it, but as you can see it looks promising. Thanks for reading. Until next week :)

Lots of foliage growth over the last week. Not much height growth though. Little sister is now nearly twice the height of her but with much less foliage. Not sure if the height thing is something i should be worried about. Ive only got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm grow space for 2 plants so short plants would be great, so long as they still produce a decent crop.
