Day 22- Second defoliation into flower.

Day 34 - 14/01/20 Smoothie auto is gonna be a hell of a strain! i broke the bottom most branch off as the fan leaf was sticking into the dirt and the sap from inside the branch was just stinking of fruits and skittles basically! All of my plants are basically the same height (46-47cm) even my cayenne pepper plant which is in full flowering and should be ready in about 3 weeks! Today is day 74 since planting, so in theory I should have about 2 weeks to go. The taller plant will probably make that, the shorter may take an extra week or so. Overall, pretty boring week, as the buds are at the tail end of fattening up, should be right on the edge of ripening. The bud structures of the plant continue to be completely different, with the taller plant having a more typical sativa appearance while the shorter plant has dense, stocky nugs more like an indica. I'm just excited to see the end in sight. At this point in the grow I just want to harvest and start my next batch, but one of my growing mantras is " let the plant tell you when she's ready to be cut" so I will continue to wait impatiently until a vast majority of the trichomes are milky. First of all we had quite some rainy days, which is almost impossible as in July this didn't happened for years, but of course i plant something outside and it automatically needs to rain...😡 Then some stupid worms decided to build a colony inside the plant and screwed a couple of leaves, i killed them all for being disrespectful to my plant, that will teach them a lesson... As last we celebrated the plants birthday and threw some firework around the city 🤣😝 it was a nice party, the plant is still recovering from the party For the rest all good, more and more tricomes are appearing and in around 2 weeks we are harvesting 😁👌

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. 6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes. 6/24 It's 90° at 9am. It's supposed to break 100° amd stay there a while. Up to 106°. Plants looked awesome this morning. I wasn't sure what I'd find. Today is the worst of the days. If it didn't break 100 yesterday it was damn close all day and the girls look GREAT. I WATERED AGAIN TODAY. I USED EITHER 5.5 OR 6.5 GALLONS TO WATER THE GARDEN. It was nice cool well water too so they should like that. Branches are getting longer and I'm training as the get bigger. I need to put up the trellis but I'm not doing it in this heat. EDIT: 90° @ 6PM WENT OVER AND AS PREDICTED THE TWO TENS WERE DROOPING. IM WONDERING IF THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH IM THOSE TENS. LAST YEAR I HAD ONE THAT WAS HUGE IN A TEN BUT IT JUST DEVELOPED INDIVIDUAL CALYXS WITHPUT CONNECTING. CHECK IT OUT ON LAST YEARS DIARY. IF THATS THE CASE I SHOULD KIGHT DEP THEM BECAUSE THEYRE GETTING BIG. I WATERED THE TWO TENS WITH ABOUT A HALF GALLON AND I USED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THAT COLD WELL WATER ON THE 10TH PLANET IN THE 30. SHITS LIGHTER THAN USUAL BUT LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. THE REST CAN WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING FOR THEIR WATERING. TOMORROW TOPS OUT AT 85° WHICH WILL BE MUCH BETTER. IM LOVING MY STRAIN CHOICES RIGHT NOW.

Learnt some hard lessons this round! Next time I'm adding dolomitic lime to buffer soil aswell as always pHing from now on! Other than the lockout mid flower and slightly smaller buds as a result I'm happy with my first attempt at a actual tent grow. The buds look dense and frosty and under a scope a few are starting to turn cloudy. Next round is gonna be only three as I'm not comfortable with it being so cramped! I reckon I'll let her go another week with feed the I'll do a two week water only flush! Happy growing to all ✌️

We are a couple who decided to plant cannabis for the first time during the covid-19 quarantine, and it helped us get through it, during and after grow =] Before deciding to plant, we studied a lot and saw many diaries here, so we didn't have many surprises during the cycle, also because we were able to see, compare and know what to expect from our plant. It was really cool to see the result of what we had studied happening in practice, we learned a lot from Grow Diaries. Definitely we will do a lot of different things next time, but overall we were satisfied to be able to smoke our own weed. Grow diaries helped and motivated us a lot, both to learn new things and to organize and register our grow. Our intention is to continue growing and sharing our experience here. After surviving a wicked thunderstorm last weekend the Devil's still stand tall. I was able to get some branches tied down and everything secured. Tallest girl measures just over 9ft, up above the app will only allow me to enter 118 inches as the most for height when the tallest plant is 126 inches tall. The peak of the greenhouse frame is 8ft. Been having a hard time keeping Monster Bloom in stock so been using slightly less and compensating with Alaska Morobloom 0-10-10. Stepped up the Purpinator a little bit to 1 1/2 tsp, and plan to > as flowering continues. Hopefully in this next week they blow up with calyxes. Was also considering reintroducing my waterproof lights in places to be used during the daytime where light is scarce. On the other hand it's kind of nice having a lower electric bill, haha. Starting this week there will be a Mars Hydro VG40 at the bottom to boost the lower buds, they will not be as dense but will be good for some hash that's why I leave them be.
