🌸 Week 4 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 8 from Seed) The garden this week feels like a song in mid-chorus, not at the beginning, not at the climax, but at that perfect moment where everything flows together, alive and in rhythm. The Gelonade girls continue to thrive as they enter their fourth week of flower. Both phenos are strong, healthy, and stacking nicely, but once again, the spotlight belongs to Pheno #2, our unicorn with her unforgettable leaves. 🍃 The Freak Leaves – Nature’s Masterpiece Every week she amazes me. The leaves are massive, sculpted, and utterly unique, opening like fingers folding out of a hand, splitting and stretching in ways I’ve never seen before. They don’t just capture light; they capture attention. They’re freakish only in the sense of being extraordinary. This week I did a light defoliation, removing just a few fan leaves here and there to let air and light move through the canopy. Nothing heavy, just enough to open the girls up so they can breathe freely. Just jarred up for the cure, and these flowers are already top 10 favorite all time. It's just full of chemical funk, and makes me high like I was back in HS. Holy shit. I can't say enough good things about the terp profile on this stuff. I can barely describe it in the state it's put my mind at the moment, wow. I wish I had treated her well during the grow, but I'm still learning. I will 100% be growing these genetics again. Given how good it is with my newbie skills, I can hardly imagine what it'll be like when I know what I'm doing. I grew two ladies in one 13 gallon RDWC bucket. Even sharing root space, they outgrew my tent and I spent all of her flower trying to save the run. Not much more I can write at the moment other than 10/10 wow.

Huge growth this week with this girl. Just feeding with water still, but she's chugging along. 2 weeks above ground as of this update (2.5 weeks from seed). I'll be starting my next seed this week, decided to go with Diesel Auto from Royal Queen Seeds as the next up. Look for that journal next week.

Day28: sign of flowering, BB3 still small but growing. Slowly increasing water and fertilizers. This week it’s time for some early flower defoliation/lollipopping. Day30: bouncing back from defoliation.

fat banana is starting to frost and thicken branches are nice and thick and stacked quite well to say I was unable to spread as much as the purple queen she's drinking a good 3l before any runoff and is one of the thirstiest strains iv grown so far iv been removing odd leaves here and there to try keep a decent penetration shes going to have a mini flush and a few days water and start back on nutes thanks for reading happy growing guys

DAY 16 At the begenning oh 3th week we can see one twins is littel bigger and we can see the leaf dimension in the picture. I think that i had some problem with fertilizazion becuse i see one leaf crumpling and in the border of two leaf some sign of overfert. i think overfert because i have used water with ph 6.2.......look at the picture......At day 16 i watered only with water ph 6.2 for security of my plant. what do you thing about these sign on leaf? certainly i will do flushing when i switch in bloom phase at the end of this week. DAY 18 VIDEO Look at the video for see how grow very fast and hard my Twins!! I'm very happy for this!!! Now they are 17 cm tall and tomorrow I switch them in the bloom stage. ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is by far the bushyist plant with the most branches she also didn't stretch much and is packed with bud sites ,

And the third week of flowering is behind me, Watermelon has begun to stagnate in growth so a height of about 70 cm is the maximum it will reach. 😎 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I removed the lower leaves and branches and some of the leaves inside the plant itself, which were already very yellow. I’m still not sure what is the cause of the brown spots and leaf decay. If it’s an excess of nutrients, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch (which keeps her company in the Box) is much more resistant than Watermelon. Another possible cause is nicotine disease, because in the plant itself, there is an opening through which air enters the Box, and if there is a lot of tobacco in the room in front, it is possible. 😟 If anyone is reading this text, and has an idea of ​​the cause of leaf decay, I ask him for advice. 🙏 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. Also, the flowers can be seen to turn purple. 😍 After all, everything can be seen in detail in the photos. At this stage of flowering I started doing photos on a black background, the photos are much nicer. the girl is growing perfectly :) although there were several really strong storms, it didn't hurt her:) from today I'm leaving her alone for 6-7 weeks :( I'm going on vacation, so only her and nature will be left :) there will be an update, you'll just have to wait for it :) good luck to everyone: )

This first week in flower was a bit more exciting than previous weeks. I decided to put in a scrog net to help spread and even out the canopy. So naturally, I 3D-printed one. (Yes, I can be that nerdy.) Besides, it was the quickest and easiest solution as I don't like the stretchy-net kind so need a frame. Much easier to download a file and press print :D Installing it was a breeze and I also cleared away most branches and leaves below the screen. The stuff that won't make it above the screen and will just result in a bunch of larf. I'm still seeing chlorosis (which I suspect has to do with her transitioning into flower and stretching), so I gave her a bit of Orgatrex and Bactrex.
