Day 14. Beautiful trileaf plant. Not quite ready for LST. Maybe tomorrow. Day 15. Bent over nicely for me. This plant is gonna be a beast.

The first picture is from last week and the videos are from today. It's been 56 days in veg so far. I was going to switch to flowering next week but decided to hold off and let it spend more time in recovery. To keep the branches down I used a wire clothes hanger and paper clips.

In week 9 my TRICHOME-WONDERS are doing GREAT! All plants continue to grow new flower crowns all over the plants. The branches starts to form colas now...its an impressive sight. The healthy green color and speedy devlopment tells me that the BIO-TABS nutrient tablets are still doing a FINE JOB! I love how convenient and time-saving my waterings are, since the plants ONLY GET PURE TAB-WATER. No more measuring and adjusting ph- and EC-levels feels like a LIBERATION...lol 😄 A few plants like the Strawberry-Sour-Siesel from DevilHarvestOriginal-Seeds are getting so tall, that I need to control their height. My favorite method to do this is SUPER-CROPPING! This is a method promoted by SOMA from SOMA-Seeds and works perfectly to control the height of a plant without having to top her. I pinch the main-stem of the plant (appr. 25-30 cm from the top, right above a node) all around in a circle, so hard that I can feel the fibers inside brake. Then I bend the top part of the stem downwards (ar at least 90 degrees to the side) and let it hang there. The plant will start to heal the stem where it was pinched (it will form an elbow-like shape) and turn the bent part of the stem upwards again. During this time the side-branches grow further in height and the plant will get bushier instead of taller. After the stem repaired itself, the buds on it will turn towards the lights as well and will continue to flower. This way I can control the height and still harvest the top-buds later.

Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

12.12 Ok finaly girls got their move to 16L root pouches and straight inside the tent. I mixed them nice "soil" with 50L all mix 15L worm castings and 40L of coco coir. I mixed those and gave a good first watering with BiiRhizo, Root Juice, alg a-mic, acti vera, grow, tarantula and voodoo juice. Then I placed netting. I'm gonna use it trellis style not bending much. Planning to keep as short veg as possible, so as soon as I'm happy with their size I'll flip to 12/12. Less than a week I think. Second watering I gave "pre flower" nutes which are listed above. I'll go with those without Nirvana and carbo load untill I'll flip to flower. I use these bottles of advenced nutrients that I have but I won't be buying more I think. Exept NIrvana, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice. They look little droopy maybe because little getting used to new homes but they good now already. Also 600w HID coming to replace 26w LED is kinda shocking at first. But yeah seems like awesome genetics, fat healthy leafs and same goes to stems. 💪 Ok coming back at ya next week, maybe I have flipped when we'll back..hope I wont flip too much 😜😅😝👺👌 HAHappy growing! 👽

Had a massive heatwave pass through, definitely not used to it hitting the 100s in june and the White widow definitely showed stress from it. It’s leaves browned a bit and curled but it seems that plant only has about two weeks left and it should be all good! Gorilla Zkittles buds seem to be the farthest behind everything else and could honestly end up needing an extra week from the rest. Buds are developing color and their true personality! I’m lovin it. Thanks to everyone for the support along this grow journey, and let’s hope we can finish these last couple weeks out nicely! All photos come from The end of week 6 flower. Pre-flower time... Top dress feeding for the first time for this lady added with some worm casting. Switching lights to 12/12 in a few days, Monday but until then each day I'll decrease the lights. Other than that things have been super easy, once again she's strong. She's thick she's healthy she's happy. If I can count correctly I may have about 16 tops, so things will be clear later on In flower. We'll see the true tops. Plus she is putting off a really leafy greeny smell, if that makes any sense. Other than that looking good

Wow she grew loads this week!!!!!!! She actually over tripled her height! From 21cm to 69! Incredible. Look at all her lower branches too! The massive internode length means they're almost as tall as the main cola!!!!!!!!

Welcome to week 10 of my grow diary. Growth has now finally stopped. The buds are getting thicker and ripening day by day. As it gets quite damp at night, the plant is spending the night in the garage. Otherwise, dew collects in the buds and it takes too long for them to dry again, which is a high risk for mold. Now that we're nearing the end, I don't want to take any risks. You can tell that the plant is begging for nutrients even though it is getting enough fertilizer. The leaves are starting to turn slightly yellow. Autumn is beginning and the harvest is not far off. The smell is now extremely dominant and the whole garden smells when you go outside. The week was without adventure. I raised CO2.. Now I will give the last week of Vega and translate to flowering. It is interesting to try to give the plant CO2 from the bale from the beginning of the vegetative stage😉

420 Fastbuds Week 7 Cherry Cola Auto This week on these two has been like autopilot. I've upped the tds to about a 1000 to see how they'll respond. Probably should have upped it a little sooner maybe 2 weeks back but over all they're growing amazing. The one still is the red headed stepchild of the bunch as the leaves look horrible but won't fix itself. The flower sites are growing fine over all from the looks. Starting to give off a nice subtle smell and sticky to the touch. All in all Happy Growing

As you can see my diary stars with flowering as I had started with clones from my last grow. I hope to keep this updated regularly however life(kids,work,wife) trump everything.
