Well I made the decision to remove the plastic cover of the greenhouse because these babies are HUGE. Never had a plant this tall, ever, especially an auto. I removed all the lighting and left them and the other hydro girls exposed to the natural elements. Most were barely showing any signs of flowering so I figured the natural lighting would be sufficient and promote flowering. All my lighting is IP65 rated waterproof so I'm still looking for another way to mount them to run during the day when light is scarce or on cloudy days etc. But not for any extra time compared to sunrise and sunset. Have been removing large fans from the bottom up, exposing lower nodes. Also have been adding support their extremely long branches or tieing them back to the main stalk loosely at a node with hemp rope. At this point I'm not at all dissapointed that these Devils haven't flowered sooner, I expected delayed flowering because of the high doses of Superthrive throughout most of vegetative life. I just hope theres enough time left in the season for them to finish! Had to add an extension on our fencing lol, but the neigbors seem cool 😎, its legal anyways. Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. She filled out lovely and gives the nostrils a tickle(she sets my hay-fever off!).. Nice smooth smoke off her and she taste very sweet&sour for me..she dryed up pretty fast in comparison, but the heating has been on a few times this week n may of had a slight impact on that.. Sure she will taste better as wks go on and will put her aside to cure completely now for few wks.. Great strain that I'll definitely grow again

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.
