Welcome to Cleo's Psychic Network …
One Fast Buds CBD Crack 1:1 with sprouted tails (yes plural) of 1/2 inch into Rockwool.
Originally planned to start a FB 20:1 but it never sprouted a tail, put it into rockwool and see.
4/25
Hello Cleo!
Little girl popped up overnight... "sigh of relief"
Cleo may be getting a friend.
Checked the rock wool on the 20:1 and found her sporting a white 1 inch tap root.
Seems she thought she was too low in the rock wool so moved her to within 1/4" of top.
May give her h2o2 in the morning if she isn't up by then.
4/26
Cleo into coco she has roots exiting rock wool.
First feed at light nuets, 150ppm at 6.1
4/28 Pics
Cleo has good color
The 20:1 just wont give it up
4/30 Week 2
Some discoloration, moved light up.
Most likely be ready to transplant in a couple of days, color good
Slowly increasing nuets Leave them here a while.
5/1 Pic
5/3 TRANSPLANT DAY!
Time to move her, her roots are three inches beyond the garden bag and her veg growth has kicked in.
Roots are very white, very strong and very long.
Transplanted into 5 gallons of prepared/buffered/triple washed coco and 40% perlite.
Pot soaked well with goodies to get things going quickly, she has some catching up to do 😏
5/4
Pics
She is thriving! 😎
5/5 Pics
Almost doubling in mass every day
5/6
Pics
Added Silicon and increased Grow nuets slightly
She has tripled in size this week color is good and stems are strong.
5/7
Week 3!
This is our first CBD Crack grown in coco and she is showing wonderful color, form, and size for only 14 days up.
Very happy with this so far even if the delay does present some issues.
She just so pretty!
5/9
She is just exploding, a full inch of height and girth in one day.
No hairs yet, increasing nuets tomorrow 20%.
5/10
Nuets increased
Raised her base up to get better light, think she has fully acclimated by now.
5/11
She has grown another node and another inch in one day!
The reward for what we did yesterday, she wanted more light and nuets.
Will leave things as they are for now.
5/12
Just call her "Inch a Day" a that is her growth rate.
Training her today, Pony Tailing LST
First hairs visible so folding in a light dose of Bloom
5/13
10 inches wow
First cycle of pony tailing was productive though she still tacked on over an inch in 24 hrs.
Secondary growth tips grew a lot during the process and expect tonight to be even more productive.
Node spacing is about one inch so perfect now
5/16 WEEK 4!
She has hit 14 inches , secondary and tertiary branches growing nicely due to pony-tailing leaf tucking and 30w of secondary light hitting under the canopy.
Color is excellent form is perfect great genetics here
Flower is still holding off so this could be a special lady.
Nuets are doing great work so leaving then as is of a while.
5/17
Another inch and pony-tail is complete as secondary branches have broken the canopy
Just leaf tucking and whatnot from here
As is for now
5/18
She hit 20 inches of veg growth without being stretchy, node spacing is good, not hitting flower as yet though she is knocking on the door and likely has begun her stretch.
She likes the new light setup and can now hold her own with her tent mates without a "booster seat".
No deficiencies
Good color
Hair growth is good
Happy plant
May increase Bloom ratio in a couple of days to 50-50 see what the plant says about it.
5/19
Pics
Still in veg as the growth tips remain if increasingly hairy no cola formation.
21" her rate of growth is continuing branches staying above leaf canopy.
Nuets as is today but one dose of PK incoming tomorrow for hair growth.
A little comparison from our last CBD grow - we can dream cant we
Gave her 5ml/gal Kangaroots in prep for Flower
5/20
Vertical growth has stopped and she is getting very hairy with the beginning of cola formation.
She is transitioning quickly so modified the nuets to half Grow half Bloom for the duration of it.
5/21
Vertical growth has kicked back in so looks like a flowering stretch, 26 inches+
The pause may have been her building her roots after the shots of Kangaroots and she has just resumed her stretch.
Moved her directly under the MH-HID in attempt to keep her size more manageable but she is her own girl so...
Little one time shot of KoolBloom for hair growth 1ml/gal
5/22
She is finishing the week in full Flower as colas are forming.
Good results in hair growth due to PK it seems will use again later.
Hitting 29 inches now the tallest plant in the tent, have added support for main stem will add bamboo as she grows.
MH-HID light up to full 600w as we need this stretch to slow down the blue light should help.
5/23 Week 5 - Flowering!
She is in full flower and still kicking up the lights at 31.5 inches.
Moving nuets towards all Bloom will cut out Grow when stretch stops.
Cleaned up the lower end removing a branch or two that were too far down.
Improved support for branches and central stem
5/24
Stretch continues (really needs to stop now) she is at 35 inches
Bamboo placed for support.
Will continue to replace Grow with Bloom nuets as we go
5/25
Stretch finally ending, only 1/2 inch over night but she did break 36 inches …. a full yard of veg growth.
So HPS lighting installed and will run at max 600w as much as we may for heat keeping things under 83F
Great genetics on this strain folks
5/26
One time PK boost (two feedings) for flower growth.
Bit more growth but we were expecting some switching from strong blue to strong red spectrums.
Her structure is excellent so see no reason for concern yet.
Have several inches of light adjustment remaining before we are going to do something about it.
Everything else in the tent is finishing so setting things for her.
Hit 40 inches but no further growth in 12 hours so ….. damn... its happening again
Ended PK for the round
5/28
Seems the feed last night had a CA/MG lockout - I smell the work of silicon.
Cleo grew again a got a little too close to the lights with the lockout making her susceptible to light burn. Only a few leaves nothing all that bad gave her a good flush with carefully PHed nuets at proper levels turned down and raised the lights.
Big heat wave moving in so need her healthy as possible.
Pics later
*** This is from her husband, I mixed up the nuets in question, its on me. Doh!!
Pics
The answer is 42
5/30 last pic of week
5/31 Week 6
Finally she is no longer growing vertically. The bulking up is starting as she now has much more space and thus light at all levels of her growth.
She will continue receiving the occasional shot of PK when it looks needed.
Afraid to hope for what it looks like will happen here
6/2
Pics
She is taking over the 4x4
The more room she gets the more she seems to want, she will be alone in there soon enough.
Time of a shot of PK tonight at lights on - 2ml/gal
Nuets prob stay as is for the duration cannot see any way to improve this situation.
6/4
Now Showing : The Beast of CBD Mountain
Will she fill a 4x4 tent?
Villagers are nervous... see it now!
6/5
Light swap HID out Mars TS-2000 in
Reduced cocotek slightly to reduce nitrogen, some tips showing burn.
Water needs reduced a good bit due to new light
6/7 Week 7, third of flower
She is just getting to be The Beast of CBD Mountain
Nuets are solid and light is plentiful to say the least, watching closely for ANY signs of bleaching, none at all so far.
Light defoliation she is not all that leafy
Keeping a close eye on the PH pens had to recal all three think that was what was responsible for the issue last week and not a double dose of Si.
6/8
Buds growing very fast, increasing PK to 1.5ml/gal
6/10
She is bulking very quickly, so pleased.
Removing Si from feed no longer need to keep dumping it in the pot.
Continue light defoliation
6/11
Showing signs of Phos deficiency,, reddish stems on some branches, lightening in lower leaves with tale tail calcium spotting.
The classic "fade"
All signs point to an advancing condition so we have upped the PK and will begin stepping PH down, 6.1 today , 6.0 from here on.
Give it a few days see what we get
Not looking at flushing until we get signs things are winding down which seems a week or so off at least.
Plan a 10 day flush but we all know about plans.
6/12
Another minor lockout not sure of cause flushed with carefully prepared nuets, gave the full gallon for good run off (about 1.5 quarts) to clean it out.
Eliminating the KoolBloom PK booster, its about time anyway, we want to simplify the feed till we sure about whats up.
6/13
No further issues may have just been a PH variance caused by a wonky pen.
Leaving the base nuets in place till flush
6/14 Week 8 and things are going fairly well on the grow.
Some issues with PH that I hope have been worked out by recaling all of them and using two to test PH.
Bud building continues
Basic nuets only till flush
6/15
Another day in the life...
6/16
Gave a shot of PK she is building so fast she just runs out of Phos and then CA cant do its work
6/17
Continuing PK one more day at least 2ml/gal and 1ml/gal Cal-Mag
We have an explanation for the CA issues.
This was bag coco not block, it came prewashed and buffered.
Apparently the buffering was sub par and has degraded thus drawing CA from the plant and feed.
Thus adding 1ml/gal Cal-Mag to compensate
Once again DYOPW Do Your Own Prep Work
6/19
She is building buds faster than any plant we have grown to date.
Going to split the cal-mag and pk feedings, morning PK evening cal-mag may just be a best practices thing and the time for both is very short
Someone asked me a question on PK/cal-Mag and I didnt know they can conflict depending on the formulas involved.
So safe is the word
She is finishing up to flush stage anyway fewer new hairs so the ambering will increase wont be long now, within a few days.
6/21 Week 9
Tricones at 50% clear 50% milky
She is building so fast we have had to trellis her branches (bamboo and jute) to keep them from snapping even with the SI in her cells.
Continuing PK for now hold CocoTek where it is as she is going into her last week of nuets
We do not want to start that flush until we are satisfied its time and at the rate she is building it aint today and may not be till the end of the week.
We still think this a 300 gram dry plant at least, she seems to be putting on several grams a day of flower so every day is a weeks worth of CBD.
6/23
Pics later
Trics at 75% milky 25% clear want more mature before taking away all her nuets
Removing PK she is slowing down greatly only waiting on the trics to flush
Reduced Lights on to 18 hours
Plant and grower
6/24
Reducing lights on to 16 hours
Showing off her buds and trics a little
6/25
Light hours were reduced for heat (its hot this week) nothing else. Off during heat of the day.
Begin Flush this evening trics are 80+% milky plan on using an agent for the first flush just water thereafter.
6/26
Day 2 of flush no major def yet
6/27
Ok the deficiency fairy showed up last night, seeing mostly CA which does not surprise at all, and Mag.
Still she is managing to build a bit of bud.
6/28 Week 10 and she is looking fantastic
Flush continues, nothing special just one gallon of h20 twice a day.
Looking at at least 3 days as tricones still at less than 100% white (@80%)
Deficiencies not bad yet, still building some bud
6/29
Looking well, just a bit of CA/MG def showing. Still building
Some lights out pics to show off the buds and trics
****
We have determined that best practice on coco DTW is to add a low dose of Cal-Mag once a week when in final container.
This will satisfy the cation sites as the coco breaks down and avoid mystery CA deficiencies allowing the CocoTek to do its work.
6/30
Just some Bud Pics
7/2
HARVEST DAY TOMORROW!
She is so heavy had to lay the plant on its side to cut and remove trellis so her branches and even main stem did not split.
Sticky as she can be, had to clean hands and trimmers (eyes once lol) many times for just a light trim.
Easy trim
Excellent plant Fast Buds
Dried quickly, humidity has been low and we kept plenty of air flowing around and through her did not want to take chances with that big bud.
She is real dry we can rehydrate any buds that go into cure, not a priority as this girl is set for edibles..
485 grams final weight
Weight modified down to 451 due to waste of 34 grams
