Been 10-14 days since I fixed the lighting issue & she's flowering very nicely now. Tho the top of the plant is still a bit behind. There's a street light outside my balcony which still shines a bit of light over the wall that catches the top branches & I wondered if this could be slowing down the uppermost branches. I found some extra sun netting & have hung it on my pergola to block out the street light some more too. Not sure this will make much difference but it has the added benefit of giving her some more privacy as she is getting huge! Have seen some evidence of thrips & mealyworms, which seem to be kept under control by the bio insecticide I have been using. I thought I might have to prolong the grow til late October but the rate she's bulking up now I don't think she'll need to be out there for that long. Time will tell!

Plants continue to enjoy the heat of the summer, Growing big fat leaves, going bone dry from sunrise to sunset and drinking lots of water every day at dusk. Some mild calcium deficiency started appearing the yellowing of the leaves with brown-ish spots, corrected with foliar spray Element XX (calcium supplement) I have also introduced my spray homemade pesticide with natural ingredients, you can find the recipe on my Instagram @Girlgoneweed (under the highlights), spraying 2x a week to keep rodents, deer, aphids, mites, mildew and other threats away. Gorilla Jealousy F1 is doing her thing. She is shifting into a bulking stage. She did show a major ph drop yesterday to today. She is likely due for a solution change. I will try to redo her solution this next week when I get a chance. Her smell has not really started up strong yet. I feel that will change over the next few weeks. Entering third week...all of my plants have developed second pair of leaves and third one is growing already! Had an issue with watering as in first week I have overwatered, last week I have underwatered. One of the plants is significantly behind other two, however I hope that she will survive. 14.10. - Starting with 1ml/l of Bio Grow and Bud Candy to see how they'll respond. Hi guys! Week 6 of flowering, happy with the shape and trichomes production! Yeild not so much... at all😂 I went too far with pruning! Lesson learned for next time. I’m going to wait until I see some amber trichomes to flush.

Nov.8 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.9 - Moved these girls into Vivosun tent under Phlizon 1200w light from a Marz Hydro tent 5x5 with Marz Hydro ts 1000 light. We needed to move these girls to this tent and have our DWC in the bigger tent so the DWC plants don’t get too hot at the bottom *once girls were transported to new tent the leaves turned to curl and lift upwards, the light is on veg and is 24” high Nov.10 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.10 - Decided we don’t like the blurple light and took one of our Mars Hydro lights from our big tent and switched it Nov.11 - Watered each plant, 500mL, 1mL of each nutrient. Our girls drank soo fast so we are bumping it up a bit Nov.12 - Our girl #1’s leaves are a little droopy and are looking a bit weird in some spots (darker green and almost wrinkled). Our girl #2 though is going great and we started some LST training on her today. Let her growww Nov.14 - Started our girl #1 on LST her leaves are much happier now! Ohhh boy #2 is sprouting so nice she’s starting to fill out so well and she just blossomed once we started LST, she was facing upwards in less than 24h!! Nov.15 - Our girls are thriving so I wanted to FIM #2 and my boyfriend wanted to Top girl #1 Let’s see how these girls groooww Nov.15 - Watered each girl 250mL and 0.25 mL of each nutrient we are going to water them just enough to soak into the ground every day for them to soak up as much nutrients and drink as possible without over watering.

We did a lot of defoliating the past 2 weeks , the girls were growing water leaves like we were about to start a small forest 🌳. But above all we got a chance to see the genetics that made the difference on who we decided to keep this run and who didn’t make it. So big big s/o to @42fastbuds for giving us great genetics the community can count on. Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup.
