Week 6 Report: White OG – Shaping Her Future 🌟 We’re at Week 6 of veg, and the White OG is thriving like a superstar! This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Let’s dive into what went down this week and why it’s all so important for her journey. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Nutrient Routine: Trusting the Pellets This week, I’ve continued with the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets as the primary nutrient source. They’re working their magic, providing a steady release of nutrients to support her vigorous growth. As a backup plan, I’m always ready to reintroduce All-in-One Liquid if she starts showing signs of needing more immediate nutrition. 420 Fastbuds Week 1 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto Hey hey what up grow family. Started another couple seeds from 420Fastbuds of this amazing looking strain Cherry Cola Auto. Germination started on 9/21 and 48hrs later after soaking in a glass of water they where put into the soil. Fast forward 48 more hours and we have sprouts that appear to be healthy. All in all Happy Growing

Week 6 At the beginning of the week I simply finger pressed the new node growth to begin separation and branch direction. 3 days after the last topping, I set up the tomato rings and attempted to tie down train the branches. In retrospect I should have given another day of growth before trying to tie to the new nodes. One plant made the LST training without issues(green tomato ring), however I snapped 2 center colas on the second plant(orange tomato ring). From experience I know that these will not produce tall colas since it happened so late in Veg, so I decided to completely remove them and will monitor for any new growth on those nodes to remove it. So now Im growing an 8set Mainline And a 6/4 set Manifold: Mainline : is a planned topping and defoliation of every cola that makes all topped splits have roughly the same distance to the roots for water ways by removing all other growth along at the same point on any cola. Ideally this helps generate mostly equal buds along the whole cola after each topped split and then the whole plant without having to use scrog nets and just local support ties instead. In a Mainline you remove any other growth that would otherwise need those water ways to grow as well, so Manifold: is the same thing as Mainline but in Manifold you leave a few branches to grow from a lower start point on any cola and then remove everything else. Ideally this gives mostly the same benefit as Mainline but if planned correctly allows you to be finished topping in just 2 separate topping days rather than 3 separate topping days. (I am using it here to correct this late veg mistake in my breaks) The tie downs are positioning 6 of the colas to grow out flat until it can reach the outer bend of the tomato rings where I will allow them to stretch straight up in bloom. 2 cof the colas will have the lowest node of braches growing up in the middle for a total of 4 branches. However in the 8 cola plant I am also training 6 to the outer ring and 2 colas to grow up in the center of the ring. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

They still seem to be growing, although going in the room twice a day, it is difficult to notice unless I look closely or compare photos with previous weeks. Going to cut off a couple small pieces of calyx's shortly and will post a couple pictures from my scope. Speaking of those, they're starting to give me some nice colours, slight purples, neon greens and yellows, the photos don't really do them justice under the warm lighting but I will try and take a couple pics in some white light when I chop her down in a couple weeks time. It is also quite difficult to illustrate the size of some of these colas, the one near the back on the right, is about 19 inches long, and about 4 inches wide. Looks like 2 ounces of bud hanging on her and I have had to lasso some string around it and a couple other colas as they were falling down. Bringing EC slowly down to around 1.2 - I think I will cut nutrient strength down to about 0.8 EC in a few days time to try and hurry her along a bit. I will only be flushing for 3 days at the end of this grow, they will also be in the dark for 2 days at the end with low temps (mid teens in ºC) to preserve terpenes, oils and other cannabinoids. Runtz punch has sprouted and is about a week old. She has stretch a little too much so I increased the light strength some till she gets some growth on her and roots in the solution. Everything is looking good at the moment. She has been transferred to the larger flower tent and now is on a 12/12 light cycle. It is her with 3 other girls in a greenhouser 60"x32"x80"all around the same maturity. She is now under the Sayon SH4000 at full tilt 410 watts from the wall. The light cycle was somewhat reversed, as I now have her lights off at day (6:30am) and on at night (6:30pm). Goal was to use the electric at non prime hours and be able to tend to them between work hours. So going into flower for the first day, she had a longer light period prior to rolling her into the first light flip. I defoliated her towards the middle of the week, getting rid of all the damaged leaves from the veg mishaps. She is untrained and now enjoys a oscillating tower fan to help strengthen her stems & branching. She is nice and tall, and them fan leaves are luscious green and straight up pray to the sayhon sh4000....perking up before the light even cuts on. She is also introduced to Tps bloom at 2ml a gallon. She is doing great.

Plants are looking very healthy overall Love plant 4 of the Dark Devil.. Haven't seen colours like this in a plant before.. This plant will have such nice bag appeal when dried and cured in sure 😊🤤😋 When touching the leaves around the bud it gives off an intense sweet and fruity aroma... Cannot wait until shes done HAPPY GROWING AND GOODLUCK 🌱😎👊👍✌️

Environment + Pests + Setup This week (at day 31) I decided to end the battle against fungus gnats. Even after almost three weeks of dried-out soil, dozens of adult insects could be seen, which told me that there were pockets of moisture that I couldn't influence. Accordingly, I went back to the original plan I had outlined earlier: bring the system into balance and use sand and nematodes. Since I should no longer have any problems with low RH, I have also reactivated the exhaust fan, which lead to the values you can see above. Nutrients + Environment From the outset, the plants showed a slight nitrogen deficiency, which was evident in their rather pale, light green color. This is probably due to the fact that the substrate (until now) did not contain enough moisture to allow metabolic and decomposition processes to proceed efficiently. Directly after watering I got reassured that my choice was right and the soil still alive, healthy, and ready to 'get back to work': Look at the amount of springtails and how fast new growth appeared! Plants On day 30, I topped the plants. Both had already formed three nodes and started to develop healthy side branches at all of these nodes. So, according to my plan, I removed the main shoot, leaving enough space for the stump to encapsulate without damaging the healthy plant. I also removed one shoot from each of the middle nodes, as I don't want branches that already grow towards the center (the branches will grow towards the light anyway, and this way I can ensure that there is enough air circulation and room for expansion). Besides that, I sadly feel like the variegation - and genetic really - ain't stable. By the end of week 5, you could see that the offshoots differed a lot in their 'quality' (asymmetrical, some very weak, etc.), and the variegation didn't appear again. *Gorilla Z Auto was 14 cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto 7 cm (both after topping). Thats why I wrote 10.5 cm.

So far, so good. Plants are slowly gaining on height. The first set of leaves is done and signs of the second pair already showing. Got a small issue with tips yellowing. 26.9 - 2.10.2023

11/09/2025 - Day 131 Removing a lot a buds with mold. If it keep getting worse I just end it here. Smell is really strong, this scares me a little. Stems are bending under the weight of the buds, they will break for sure in case of strong rain. The small third one died for reasons, not a big deal.

Buds getting some swell on them now. Reek of sweet banana and some sour under tones. Weather as usual has gone a bit shitty on the final week or so but other wise going well. 0 bugs issues, a few signs of dying leafs. Can't wait

So, they’re still growing vertically, again, I had to go away for 3 days. Not planned. Tops got too close and a load of them burnt to a crisp, the seriously burnt ones have been cut off and the other ones that weren’t too bad have been bent down. It was 14 inches when the plant was flipped, I reckon she would be around 48 inches now if I didn’t have to hack at her. But disappointed as I reckon she would have been a beauty. But... life goes on and I’m sure she will yield alright when the time comes 4ish weeks time. Literally the only problem this week has been vertical space, plant itself is very healthy. Next time I better get a taller tent 🤦‍♂️

To minimize the risk of mold, I hung a fan in the foil tent. Hopefully it will work. It would be a shame if the Bubatz were affected by mold. Otherwise, their buds are thickening and hardening, and the main shoot is getting thicker and thicker. The test of the homemade manure will continue for another week, and comfrey manure will be added soon. A few leaves were removed. This plant has been eating a ton, we feed with every watering now and there's been no protest..if fact we may increase due to light shade. The FC-E6500 is an absolute beast of a light, I'm so happy my husband finally made the purchase for us..with lower power consumption and higher yields; this light will pay for itself shortly. We've been talking about also getting a 5x5 so we can utilize its full light footprint... ..You might notice a cheap "blurple" LED hanging from the scrog table,we hung it there to add some weight. If its not clear to tell from the photos, this plant is completely overgrown, we definitely let this go for far too long but I'm excited to see what kind of yield we'll get (this is our highest yielding strain by far).. I would be shocked by anything less than 1lb.. We've had the FC-E6500 at 50-75% for the first 2 weeks of flower, we're leery on distance still and didn't want to chance burning but with no signs of stress we decided to move it up to 100% today and we'll monitor colesly for a few days.. As I did the flushing in day 70 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang the whole plant to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed about yield and numbers. So far really happy with the results. It will probably be the champs of this run yielding nicely 👍🏼.

I allow 36 hours for the plants to eat up all nutrients after the Flash and now it's time for Harvest. Thank you for reading and have a happy grow

Day 60 since seed touched soil. Joe is going okeish. Smallest from all by height, some branches stayed in first level of scrog only .. Still see signs of magnesium, thinking to load 200ppm of Epsom salt with next watering. Watered girls yesterday. Thinking to do heavy bottom clearing today. Dropped idea of third scrog level. Girls are secured enough and i dont want to loose access totally. Running out of height ... Distance to light- around 20-25 cm. Mars TSL2000 works just fine, with open window i keep day temps in 22-24 range. Took down all LST, cleared bottoms. Took a bit of leaves from top too. Very lanky, leafy, some tops didnt want to go higher, looks weak as producer, but all reviews are amazing about taste, so hopefully this will compensate ;))))) Day 62.
