Normally I would use paper towel method but this time decided to try germination in propagator directly to substrate. 100% success. First girl showed in about 48h after planting and second maybe 12h after. 07/10 Seeds planted. Propagator at 22 degrees and 90% humidity. 09/10 Day 1 Girls popped through the soil. 13/10 Day 5 Xena and Athena comfortably transported to new 5 star spa resort and they do like new 14l queen beds 15/10 Day 7 End of germination week. What's up guys! Quick update for this week. I decided to give the Gorilla Melon a nice cut to keep her height fully under control, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with her current structure. She’s shaping up beautifully. I'll see how she develops over the next two weeks and make a final decision at the end of July whether to cut her one last time or just let her ride. I'm still a bit anxious about that massive stretch coming up in August, so my main goal right now is keeping her in a compact shape that will comfortably fit inside the greenhouse. To make sure she has enough power for the road ahead, I pushed a third Biotab straight into the soil today. Those thrips are unfortunately still buzzing around the place, but the Gorilla Melon seems to be way more resilient compared to her greenhouse-mate. My Orange Sherbet Auto right next to her, which is already in late flower, is definitely having a much harder time dealing with the pests. To get ahead of the problem, I’m going to release another round of biological pest control soon. The goal is to have everything thrips-free the time the Gorilla Melon finally flips into flower (hopefully). Enjoy the peace of growing, guys! ✌️

she is still branching, so i realized she needed ore space and put her out in a larger 4x4 tent as compare to the orignal 2'x2'. the tent has more cmlights then the single one in the smaller tent - this made the girl start to uptake nutrients such that there is very little drained to waste. i also put a screen to start scroging over her. the screen has large holes, so i think it may require high stress training to move the stems to the next section without breaking them. the data from grow rooms sensors etc gets overwhelming quickly and i can't really keep up. so i created a graphical animation visualizing for the composite garden data from the live garden sensor data. this is fun as things on the dashboard change colors and shape based on the sensor status. it is also interactive as i can also send commands to say control the lights, pump by clicking on them on the animation. . i am still using my doser to mix nutrients and then refill this garden manually. besides the plant response to the increased lighting , all other conditions i can adjust are still similar.

Hallo Growmies und Willkommen zur 5 Woche, Die Pflanze wächst mittlerweile wie eine fat reine Sativa. Leider musste ich feststellen das 2 Pollensäcke si h entwickelt haben. Ich habe sie gründlich untersucht und gestresst um zu sehen ob sie wieder Pollensäcke ausbildet. Drückt mir die grünen Daumen dass es einfach nur eine stress Reaktion ist wie letztes Jahr die Divine Rapier. Ansonsten bin ich echt begeistert wie sich entwickelt. Grüße gehen raus an dem Growmie wo im letzten Bericht drauf hingewiesen hat!

03/01/22: All main colas and smaller colas have an abundance of white trichmomes - looking very well and are sticky. Defoliated for the final time and Lollipopped removing all of the bottom veg to promote bud growth. Pistils are still hairy - just waiting for them to flatten down. only a very few pistils throughout are turning brown - hopefully this will increase within the next few weeks. Overall I am happy with the way things are going - and should only be 2-3 weeks more til harvest.

------GENERAL COMMENT------ All good, had a flawless week with the girls. Experiencing a lot of issues with the LED though, because of the high humidity in the tent when the lights are out, have to manage that some how... Basically the led matrix fails and blinks till the humidity lower, with this i loose around 1 hr of light a day till it starts all leds... A strange thing to experience! Forgot to start with the flowering booster, so this week missed Big Bud, but still i gave frequently some Bud Ignitor at least. Next watering Bud ignitor and voodoo juice goes out, Big Bud and Velo Kelp come in to play. ------SM.BB COMMENT------ She did not branch a lot out, so i can count with around 10 branches roughly. Maybe that was due to over removal of the lower growth. Lets see what happens next and how do those will develop.

Like most beginners I am very impatient. Therefore the following question can I be satisfied with growth so far ? I haven't used any fertiliser so far because I put pre-fertilised soil in the pot when I repotted it. It hasn't received much water yet either, I drowned a plant before, so I have become cautious. I'm starting to think about training her, because I'm very limited in height. 5.5. 80ml 7.5. 100ml 11.5. 240m

Once again had no issues had very good growth on all my plants, mother plant seems to use about 12/15l of water every 4 days just have to keep on top of that. Topping I did couple of weeks ago went a bit side ways as some plants seem to have 3 nodes at the top some how, Think is will be the last week in veg going to change light times next week to start flower, What would people’s views be on defoliation on the before flower should I do it now while there in veg or when I change the light cycle

Hallo Du, ich habe heute(Sonntag), wieder den Wochencheck absolviert. Bei einigen ist eine kleine Dünger Überreizung, wahrscheinlich bräuchten sie die letzten Tage nicht soviel oder haben es langsamer verarbeitet. Ansonsten ist alles im grünen Bereich. Sie wachsen und meine Damen blühen stärker und werden Praller. Der Duft ist leicht Süß/Zitrusartig. Ich muss entgegen aller Berichte und Negativ Erfahrung die ich mitbekommen habe sagen das ich bisher vollends begeistert bin von der Mars LED. Die Vorzucht habe ich extra mit einer Pflanzen Wachstumslampe vollzogen und die Blüte mit der LED nun vollzogen, ich bin auf das Ergebnis gespannt muss aber schon jetzt sagen ich habe gute 75 % an Strom-Kosten jetzt schon eingespart- auch mit der Wärme ist nicht Negativ es ist weniger heiß aber immer noch im Rahmen dessen was die Sweet Ladys benötigen. Mein nächsten Durchlauf werde ich dann aufjedenfall Kontinuierlich aufschreiben denn ich denke die Kombination aus Wachstumslampe Led Mars Royal Queen Seeds Critical Composana 3 Monate Nährstofferde Kleine Vorzucht Bugs 11 Liter Töpfe Ist für das Ergebnis bei einem reinen Lauf Ideal! Auch hatte ich bis jetzt bei den Critical am meisten einwandfreie Läufe. Diese werde ich auch nächstes Jahr als Outdoor nutzen. First time running hydroponics. And I’ll say it’s pretty easy although running into problems with ph rising cause of not using ro water so it started getting a potassium deficiency. I think I’m prepared for next run.
